Jill Biden will lead the U.S. delegation to King Charles III’s coronation, representing America at the investiture of the new British monarch instead of President Joe Biden, who will not attend. President Biden called King Charles on Tuesday to say the first lady would be going on his behalf, a source familiar told DailyMail.com. She will attend the May 6th ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London, where coronations have taken place for nearly 1,000 years.

Hope she dresses appropriately. Leave the fish nets and stilettos behind, dear. Joe is too old for this job mentally. He is an old 80. How can he run in 2024 if he’s not up to two trips in a multi week span?

Why her? Either go...send the VP, or send the Sec State. SHE has no official role, particularly in State Relations. If "Tradition"dictates a State presence at a foreign State event? Someone official needs to be there, even if it's just the Ambassador. It's not an event where your wife can play "Red Carpet Tourist" and have the expectation of "Royal" acknowledgement. I hope the give her a single seat at the back of the room, near the SRO for servants.

I'm sure Dr. Jill will make a stunning impression at the coronation. She is sure to wear one of her famous tablecloth, big flower print dresses, with those drop dead ankle length boots. Always so stunning. And maybe, just maybe she will have a hat to match. We old people remember Minnie Pearl. I'm thinking that hat should have the Minnie Pearl look with big fake flowers. Maybe Anna Wintour will put her on the cover of Vogue. (Sarcasm on.)

He is too old to sit still in a public place, like Westminister Abbey loaded with people for a couple of hours, without his bodily functions, both mental and physical, going haywire. This decision is more evidence that these days that “the big guy” is essentially a controllable political figurehead for the leftist Democrats. Who will use his lack of attendance at this upcoming historic British ceremony to appeal to some Irish-American voters who are still living in the dark ages, that’s a sure thing, as everything “the big guy” gets involved with is 101% partisan political.

A massive sinkhole in southeastern Texas that first grabbed headlines by threatening homes in 2008 began crumbling again over the weekend, ballooning to over 1000 feet across and 400 feet deep overnight. After years of stability, the rim of the sinkhole in Daisetta began crumbling again on Sunday night after residents reported hearing popping 'like a gunshot' coming from the ground hours before. Neighbors went to bed Sunday night and woke to find that the sinkhole was growing, and it has since gained about 150 feet in both width and depth.

Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow and one of America’s foremost election integrity advocates, made a historic announcement on Frank TV yesterday that Osage County, Missouri became the first place in America to completely ditch machine voting and move exclusively to hand-counting election results. Make no mistake: this is a game-changer for election integrity. Osage County is not alone. Several counties across the US are moving to paper ballots. Shasta County in California voted to go to paper ballots recently. And Nye County in Nevada counts ballots by hand now.

My introduction to San Francisco came in the late 1970s, when I spent a lot of time there as a young lawyer. The San Francisco Chronicle has a long, long article about the city’s demise: “Downtown S.F. on the brink: It’s worse than it looks.” And it looks really bad. The numbers are grim: "Don’t be fooled.
