The union that represents New York City's public school teachers is holding a workshop on how to reduce the "harmful effects of whiteness in our lives" for educators who wish to advance their credentials, a shocking New York Post report revealed Saturday. According to the outlet, the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) has scheduled the online seminar, titled "Holding the Weight on Whiteness," for Monday, March 27, for 4-6 pm. The event's landing page says the course "is about cultural humility and inclusion," and "will allow us to discuss how whiteness relates to privilege and identity, and how both become normalized and invisible."

Comments:

To prove their sincerity - - they will not use any electricity, including electric lighting, indoor plumbing, central heating, elevators, escalators, cars, trains, buses, planes, computers, televisions, radios, movies, recorded sounds, microphones, cameras, printed matter, ball point pens, or fabrics made on automatic looms - - because all of those things were invented by white men. You have to respect them for that.

White people are under attack. Why? For being white. This is crazy. White people should not put up with this, especially not from people who intend to teach our children. Is this why the Democrats would not vote for parents rights in schools.? Whites had better start fighting back soon or face a consequence of 2nd. hand citizenship.

This is part of why we had the old time saying, "those who can't do, teach". Now it's spread to being those who can't reason, teach.

The “woke” leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats who are pushing that “crap” absolutely do not want the masses of illiterate underclass minority peoples to have even a thought of emulating or having any respect for educated literate and self-reliant people, White or otherwise, who are able to support themselves and their families without relying on socialist oriented government to keep them fed, housed, and alive. It’s called keeping those minorities on the Democrat plantation.

Substitute “blackness” for “whiteness” and that would be considered racism. So I guess it’s ok to judge people and make broad assumptions about their traits based on their skin color. Alrighty then.

Hey leftist nubs in the NYC teacher's union here's a thought and excuse me if I'm shooting in the dark. How about holding a seminar on the harmful effects of passing students who can barely read, write, speak and do basic math. I know you nitwits say that math is racist too but like I said it's just a thought.

How does a seminar on the "harmful effects of whiteness" fit with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion? It doesn't. It exposes another group of intolerant "educators" who have no intention of practicing what they preach. I like the way Mat Walsh put it when he noted the abuse caused by the language of the perpetually aggrieved: "When people publicly proclaim that your mere presence is "harmful" to their existence, they are (in effect) provoking violence against you." We saw that in action just a week or so ago when a Stanford dean, Tirien Steinbach, tried to justify her disrespectful treatment of US Circuit Judge S. Kyle Duncan, on campus to speak to the Stanford chapter of the Federalist Society. Right off the bat, she accused him of causing "harm" to students. See how that works? His very existence was deemed to cause "harm" to students. The supposed "best and brightest" had no idea how to conduct themselves in that setting, and their "dean" did nothing to remind them tolerance is a two way street.

A door on the West side of the U.S. Capitol was left open and mostly unguarded for key moments during the Jan. 6 riot, allowing more than 300 people to enter the building unimpeded even as officers fought valiantly to keep protesters out of other sections of the official home of Congress, according to police security footage obtained by Just the News. California appears to be presenting the green movement with yet another reality check. Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom has set forth arguably the country's most ambitious state-level plan to transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy. However, when California's almost inevitable heat waves come in the summer and residents crank up their home air conditioners, officials turn on massive diesel-powered generators to make up for the state’s energy shortfall and to avoid rolling blackouts.

Does Pennsylvania have a U.S. Senator? I only ask because John Fetterman has been hospitalized for what seems like a decade by now. The Keystone progressive, who somehow handily beat Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in the 2022 Senate race, was immediately riddled with health episodes. During a Senate Democrat winter retreat, he had to be rushed to the hospital. Fetterman would later be hospitalized again, opting to stay for a month to deal with bouts of depression. That’s when his wife ditched him to take the family on vacation.

After months of near-silence and innuendo, Florida Gov. and GOP presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis decided to speak about Ukraine, removing all doubt about his position. While his statement on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show makes a handful of valid points, it is ridden with a fundamental misunderstanding of the war and US geopolitical interests. First, the good. DeSantis is correct to criticize the Biden administration’s lack of clear objectives in its support for “as long as it takes,” which is a recipe for a long and intractable conflict — which Americans would be right to reject.
