J6 Unmasked: Security footage confirms
Capitol door opened, allowing 300 to enter
building freely

A door on the West side of the U.S. Capitol was left open and mostly unguarded for key moments during the Jan. 6 riot, allowing more than 300 people to enter the building unimpeded even as officers fought valiantly to keep protesters out of other sections of the official home of Congress, according to police security footage obtained by Just the News. The footage -- which confirms concerns first raised by Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., two years ago -- shows an episode in a narrow hallway in the middle of the Capitol

Comments:

The police open the door to invite in the violent insurrectionists - - who attempt to overthrow our democracy - - by milling around and gawking at the sights - - while the police fade into the shadows. My guess is that most of the invited gawkers were arrested - - and thrown into solitary confinement for a year or two.

Are these not We The People’s buildings? The crime committed by the Deep State regarding the 2020 election and subsequent “insurrection” was ingeniously diabolical. I’ll give the devil his due. Covid allowed the government to see just how gullible the citizenry is, and they played 50% of us like a Stradivarius. The level of sheer malevolence is almost beyond comprehension, and yet, here we are, living it everyday. I would imagine the Deep State is still in awe and disbelief that they got away with it. Imagine what other plans are being hatched.

We have always known this to be true. I saw it on the day in news coverage. When does Mike Byrd get arrested for his murder of Ashley Babbitt?

J6 was the day that the USA STOPPED being the USA. People simply in the wrong place at the wrong time were placed in solitary confinement for YEARS awaiting trial. Presumed innocent ? People who were not even in DC but knew somebody who was ? See above. People affiliated with ANY conservative cause ? YEARS in prison. BLM rioters and leader who stole millions ? No problem. I want my country back even if it takes more Trump.

It's not trespassing, if a public building has the doors open.

even in this story....they default to calling those people "Rioters", instead of marchers, protestors, demonstrators..."petitioners for redress of grievance". There is no "Illegal entry" if there is no sign saying do not enter, no notification that a facility or area has been declared "Closed", and the officers on scene open the door and wave you inside. There was no pushing, shoving, shouting, no threatening posture from either the demonstrators or the cops. Any of the 309 that entered here , that have been charged, should be able to demand at least SOME of the charges against them dropped.

A leading UK school has banned pupils from addressing staff as “Sir” or “Miss” — calling it a battle against “cultural misogyny” inspired by the principal’s “sage,” Taylor Swift. Harris Westminster Sixth Form executive principal James Handscombe introduced the policy in an assembly at his London school Monday, saying it was “part of a wider reset” that couldn’t be left up to “old men to fix.” “We are changing the way that students refer to staff … No longer will it be acceptable to call us “Sir” or “Miss,'” he said, noting the inspiration of Swift singing “F–k the patriarchy.”

Two privately chartered planes carrying Latin American migrants from New Mexico have arrived in Sacramento since Friday, and California officials are blaming Florida for flying migrants to the state's capital. After the first plane arrived, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, a Democrat, said Saturday that he met with the migrants and could confirm they possessed documents purporting to be from the Florida State government.

California appears to be presenting the green movement with yet another reality check. Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom has set forth arguably the country's most ambitious state-level plan to transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy. However, when California's almost inevitable heat waves come in the summer and residents crank up their home air conditioners, officials turn on massive diesel-powered generators to make up for the state’s energy shortfall and to avoid rolling blackouts.

The union that represents New York City's public school teachers is holding a workshop on how to reduce the "harmful effects of whiteness in our lives" for educators who wish to advance their credentials, a shocking New York Post report revealed Saturday. According to the outlet, the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) has scheduled the online seminar, titled "Holding the Weight on Whiteness," for Monday, March 27, for 4-6 pm. The event's landing page says the course "is about cultural humility and inclusion," and "will allow us to discuss how whiteness relates to privilege and identity, and how both become normalized and invisible."

Does Pennsylvania have a U.S. Senator? I only ask because John Fetterman has been hospitalized for what seems like a decade by now. The Keystone progressive, who somehow handily beat Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in the 2022 Senate race, was immediately riddled with health episodes. During a Senate Democrat winter retreat, he had to be rushed to the hospital. Fetterman would later be hospitalized again, opting to stay for a month to deal with bouts of depression. That’s when his wife ditched him to take the family on vacation.

After months of near-silence and innuendo, Florida Gov. and GOP presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis decided to speak about Ukraine, removing all doubt about his position. While his statement on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show makes a handful of valid points, it is ridden with a fundamental misunderstanding of the war and US geopolitical interests. First, the good. DeSantis is correct to criticize the Biden administration’s lack of clear objectives in its support for “as long as it takes,” which is a recipe for a long and intractable conflict — which Americans would be right to reject.

A federal judge sided Tuesday with families who sued over Florida’s ban on gender transition procedures for minors, declaring that “gender identity is real.” (snip) Northern District of Florida Judge Robert L. Hinkle, a Clinton appointee, granted a preliminary injunction against the law to prohibit it from being enforced against the plaintiffs, and proceeded to make the claim that “great weight of medical authority supports these treatments.” In much of the developed world, including many Scandinavian countries, sex change interventions for minors are seen as lacking evidence and as largely experimental treatments.

Faye the swan was a beloved figure in Manlius, New York, as she plied the town ponds with her cygnets in tow. Her lineage has delighted residents since 1905. But to three refugee teens, she looked like a meal. One day she was simply gone, and once her disappearance was noticed, tips flooded in to police and they eventually arrested 18-year-old Eman Hussan of Syracuse, New York, and two minors, aged 16 and 17, all of whom are natives of Myanmar and attend high school in the area. They had killed the beauty—who did not fight back because she was nesting—and took it home, where they and their families ate it.

Noonan argues that electing Donald Trump again would destroy the Republican party. Peggy may be right, and I hope that she is. Trump’s success in 2016 was, in large part, due to the way that he took the mechanisms of the Republican political machine and used them to secure victory. He ran a third-party-style campaign within the structure of the Republican party. The “party” as a corporate entity was against him, but grassroots Republicans in name and philosophy were all in for candidate Donald Trump.
