Before getting to the latest developments regarding the worries of the mid-tier donor class within the Republican apparatus, I want to provide some context for the overall Ron DeSantis (RdS) management agenda. (snip)I can trace the origin of the RdS 2024 scheme to an originating timeframe in late fall 2021. It may go back further than that, but it is at least in place by the late fall of 2021. That means that everything within the professional Republican apparatus,(snip)had RdS ’24 as the agenda throughout the 2022 midterm calendar.
(snip) the events around the 2022 midterms and the surprising lack of professional Republican gains in the midterm election,

FTA:
We all know the GOPe operational motive for removing MAGA from the base of influence; it no longer needs to be repeated. Quite simply the America First agenda puts *their* money at stake, and collectively that amounts to trillions of dollars in multinational globalist financial control. The scale of the money behind the MAGA opposition is really the biggest challenge; it is almost unfathomable, and that scale is represented within the size of the war chest they assembled for RdS.

Good grief! Just a reminder: there is a Commandment on bearing false witness, and just because others ignore the commandment, there is no excuse for ignoring it ourselves.

The pillow guy says DeSantis is a globalist & met with dominion voting machine people. Needless to say the pillow guy dislikes Ron! This reminds me of Jeb..his republican friends raised him 200 million $$$ & Jeb couldn't get to first base. The GOP never liked Trump, they prefer losers like Romney & McCain!

It's 20frickin'23 for God's sake. The election isn't until November of 2024. Enough with this GOP campaign crap regarding who is going to be the presidential candidate based on meaningless or rigged polls.. What every one of the GOP alleged candidates should be doing is banding together and attacking the corrupt election system, fighting the horrific and evil child mutilation being performed by Communist Death Democrat parents and doctors, fighting every which way, as a united front, against the invasion of our country and how we are going to deport, in masse, no exceptions, every single illegal alien in this country including the so-called anchor babies. And last but not they should all be uniting to stop the unconstitutional, totalitarian, illegal, evil process that is daily taking place to destroy and imprison our legally elected President Trump. Everyone needs to remember that as Trump has said after the communist death democrats come for him, they are coming for the rest of us.
Enough with the propaganda media campaign which is out to destroy any GOP candidate by sowing phony division. We are at war.

They are only trying to destroy one candidate #4—and the GOP is in on it. They don’t care about what we care about.

You don't think that everything Trump has been doing since January of 21 hasn't been done with an eye towards running in 2024. Is he the only candidate that gets to plan for his future? DeSantis should just sit it out and allow Trump to waltz to the nomination largely unopposed?
Running against Trump and losing isn't necessarily a bad thing. He would get valuable experience out of it. Nationwide name recognition and a slew of supporters ready to back him in 2024. Trump would be forced to answer questions and not get away with name calling. A primary would get him sharpened and ready for the general.
But......we know Trump. He will do everything in his power to destroy DeSantis and in doing so, poison the well.

Maybe it’s because, sadly,
RdS is supported by the RINO Club for Growth?

Did you anti-Trumpers ever consider that Donald Trump is confident he can do the job because he has already done it? He knows he can win and the motivating force behind this run is to get this country back on track. He knows the GOPe will do exactly what the democrats want to do only behind the voters backs and at a slower pace, but they eventually will get to the same destination. I don’t think anyone believes that Trump will ever betray his promises to the American people. This is what comes from being your own man and not bought and paid for by the GOPe donor class.

Agree with #6. I’m wondering who Sundance knows and gets his info from, or is he just stirring the pot. It sounds like he’s very worried about one candidate.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. If RDS runs he has to resigns his role as governor, he can’t beat trump, we know that. Trump can’t win unless there are major and I mean major changes in the electoral process. So guess what, the establishment killed 2 birds with one stone. Presidents are bought not elected, have been since the days of Carnegie, Westinghouse, Vanderbilts, Schwab, Rockefeller. Watch the documentary, men who built America. You’ll find out RDS isn’t the first that received Wall Street money. By the way Sundance, RDS isn’t my first choice but he’s better then any Democrat.

Enough already. I will vote for Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump if either one is the nominee. With that said, I am reluctant to vote for Donald Trump for one reason - he will have one term and then it gets to be done all over again. If he was seriously considering Ron DeSantis as his VP, my qualms would be eased. Yet, all of the negative tones Donald Trump is using with Ron DeSantis, NOTHING has eased up. . .

When I look at RDS, I'm reminded of another bright-light Republican governor who showed much promise - Scott Walker.

Isn’t the first time Romneybots Bushies have tried to out and/or squelch Sundance. We know why.
As to Walker vis a vis DeSantis. Walker never attacked Trump, but he never recognized there is no middle ground between Wall Street donor class republicans and populist conservatives. DeSantis smiles and waves to the conservatives but he eats with the cool kids of the status quo Republicans.

I grew up in Florida. When Jeb Bush first ran for Governor against Bob Graham and lost he was very conservative in his speeches.
When he ran gain and won he was slightly less conservative, but people knew him from before as conservative. HE governed fairly conservative. When he hit national suddenly he was this globalist type...as we all saw.
Just saying be careful of DeSantis He is real conservative now but keep an eye open. I have found over the years that ex military -like DeSantis- ;may complain about the bureaucracy of the military but they seem to want to find a top down approach to solving problems (read big government solution)

I read this long piece by Sundance and throughout mentally noted his batty conclusions based on thin air and innuendo. Typical paranoid Sundance. I then put on my tin hat and gave it another read.
Brilliant! The man is a prophet and genius. He pulls all the threads of the 2024 campaign into the pattern that proves Ron DeSantis is a snake and an incompetent one at that. His success in Florida at combatting the Democrats and delivering what he promised to the voters is actually an obvious head fake. Give it up, Ron. Sundance has exposed you.

Folks, stop giving money to the Republican Party for them to give it to RINOs. Give directly to the candidates of your choice. Avoid Winred also as they take a piece of the action. It doesn't matter how small the donation is, volume counts.

The Washington DC rinos...rove and Ryan and romney talked sanctimonious into trying to unseat President Trump...and sanctimonious...like any other politician listened to what he wanted to hear...his speeches say what they want to hear...they...the three "R's"...lost power in DC when President Trump won in 2016 and they are desperate to take power and control back....they missed with Jeb bush and they can't get over it...and refuse to understand...the people want President Trump back in the White House...and they will never win without WE the people...so...get over it!!

Many of Sundance’s insights on the deep state are inspired, as to his view of RdS, I don’t know. Big GOP anti-trump donors may be aligning behind him because they figure he’s the only one who could beat Trump to the nomination. Does this mean they own RdS? I don’t know. If he were to win I don’t see the eGOP opposing their incumbent in 2028. Trump is Trump, and he is still his own worse enemy. He punches back, and showed Republicans how to win, which is good. But he doesn’t need to engage in every little skirmish that comes along. He creates his own Trump fatigue. HOWEVER, all of this assumes the Democrats, government nomenklatura and the global ruling elites will actually let any R win in a relatively free and fair election. They screwed up in 2016, assuming Hillary was unbeatable. They did not make the same mistake in 2020, and they will continue to do everything possible, legal or otherwise, to get their desired result in 2024. I’m sure they’re loving the Trump-RdS tussle, it’s a perfect distraction while they work on destroying our elections.

Take Sundance's (a. k. a. Mark Bradman) posts for what they're worth. He does does provide some very gifted insights through his analysis. But he is sometimes wrong and he has contradicted himself over the years. He seems to have difficulty composing and summarizing his posts as they tend to ramble without getting to any discernible point. Sundance also comes across as being "too smart by half" and a little thin skinned (if you've read some of his replies in his comments section). Having said that, it takes a LOT of effort of time and brain bytes to continually provide content for a news site. Sundance is good. But's he's also human, warts and all, like the rest of us.
