In another example of Washington’s inexorable slide into banana republic territory, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) took to the floor of the U.S. Senate on Tuesday to call for the removal of an American journalist. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen an anchor treat the American people, and American democracy, with such disdain,” Schumer said during his seven-minute authoritarian tirade. “And he’s going to come back tonight with another segment. Fox News should tell him not to. Fox News, Rupert Murdoch—tell Mr. Carlson not to run a second segment of lies. You know it’s a lie.”

A little authority is like a little knowledge, it is a dangerous thing when put in the hands of an ego maniac. Schumer assumes he is far more intelligent that he is, and therefore believes he should be in a position to dictate to the rest of us as we can't think for ourselves.

Certification of the 2020 Presidential elections was based on converting bogus ballots into legal votes. In amounts that changed the outcome. The 'system' was simply not willing to listen to the protests seeking redress but the protestors were being attacked by the forces of the state. THIS is what was being protested on Jan 6. 2021.Denying it is rapidly emerging as the real threat to our Constitutional Republic and the democratic process which operates on. Some of those protesters broke the law in their desperation. But that is what free people do when there is no recourse against tyranny. That is what they did when they dumped tea into Boston harbor, when they signed the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, when they stormed the Bastille, when masses followed Gandhi to the sea to make salt or marched behind Martin Luther King in Selma. That is the true reality of Jan 6. And we must not let them forget it.

Don't you find it ironic that the party that doctors video's right and left claims that showing actual footage of the "insurrection", which shows a different story, is lying. Yeah My lies vs your lies but my lies are truth as one can see with ones own eyes. Doctor the tape to make it look like one legislator, a Republican, was running away, when it was a whole group of them running, and the Republican was like the last one and was running to catch up. Oh my that wasn't a democratic lie, oh no. Escorting the weirdo to the chamber so they could take pictures of him? Oh my that wasn't a lie, oh no. Release them all and you will find that the violent riot was the police firing into a crowd that included older people and children. You'll see them violently assaulting women and men with clubs.

And why does Mike Pence keep saying he didn't have the authority to overturn the election? No one asked him to do that. Rather he didn't have to accept the certification from a couple of critical states - it would have been just a delay.

A Julie Kelly point, not mentioned here: The J6 prisoners were arrested, and held without bail, while the prosecutors have spent 2 years searching for a crime to charge them with. As mentioned in the article, 95% of the crimes actually charged are misdemeanors, i.e., trespassing, with penalties of less than 1 year. It would appear that most of the J6 prisoners jailed have served more time already than a misdemeanor charge.

Yeah, Schumer says that watching a video is "lies" but the sewage that he spews is "truth"? The exact opposite. Like the old saying, "Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?" I'll believe almost any alternative to Schumer, always....but especially my eyes showing me the truth via a bunch of videoes shot during the relatively benign events of January 6th. Schumer never tells the truth, always lies.

Hunter Biden laptop letter was the real

The dishonor of our intelligence community, and most of the media, is now complete. It turns out the “51 intel experts” letter implying Hunter Biden’s 100% authentic laptop was a Russian fake, and the ensuing efforts to kill Post reporting on it, were the actual disinfo operation. Veteran spook and former acting CIA Director Mike Morrell masterminded it, as he swore under oath, to “help Vice President Biden … because I wanted him to win the election” — at the behest of campaign flunky (now Secretary of State) Antony Blinken. And Morell plainly also did it in hopes a victorious Biden would hand him the top CIA job.

In the closing address at last month’s Summit for Democracy, Secretary of State Antony Blinken piously proclaimed, “As President Biden has said, democracy doesn’t happen by accident. “It requires constant effort.” Or in the case of the 2020 election, it required deceiving American voters. The House Judiciary Committee revealed that Blinken, then a top Biden adviser, orchestrated the letter from 51 top intelligence officials claiming that Hunter Biden’s laptop was nothing but a Russian disinformation campaign. Blinken contacted former acting CIA chief Mike Morell, who swayed scores of other former top officials — including three ex-CIA chiefs — to sign that letter to debunk the biggest threat to the Biden presidential campaign.

A former CIA official testified that then-Biden campaign adviser and now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken played a role in the creation of a debunked letter from 51 former intelligence officials that falsely claimed the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. On Thursday, Ohio Reps. Jim Jordan and Michael Turner, chairmen of the Judiciary and Intel Committees, respectively, sent a letter to Blinken informing him that their committees are “conducting oversight of federal law-enforcement and intelligence matters within [their] respective jurisdictions.” “We are examining that public statement signed by 51 former intelligence officials that falsely discredited a New York Post story regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop as supposed Russian disinformation,” they wrote.

"No one f--ks with a Biden." That statement by President Joe Biden last year to a Florida mayor seems than just a boast after a whistleblower at the Internal Revenue Service recently surfaced. The Wall Street Journal reported that a career IRS Criminal Supervisory Agent has alleged preferential treatment given to Hunter Biden in tax investigations. The whistleblower also alleges that he or she has information that contradicts the testimony of "a senior Biden political appointee." The timing of the letter itself was notable. For years, the Democratically controlled committees blocked any investigation into allegations of corruption and influence peddling by the Biden family.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has laid out the devastating results of runaway government spending on the middle class and why it’s so important to claw back lost ground for the average American, who has “received a pay cut for 24 consecutive months … as inflation has persisted.” He also noted the average American family has lost the equivalent of more than $7,000 in annual income. There is a direct link between spending, borrowing and printing trillions of dollars, and these disastrous results for Americans. President Biden has spent trillions of dollars the nation didn’t have. These unchecked costs drove the deficit to record highs and pushed the debt over $31 trillion.

New York Times opinionista Michelle Goldberg complained bitterly this week that she had trekked all the way to Wilmington, Del., at the brutal hour of 7 a.m. to watch the Dominion-vs.-Fox News defamation trial, only for the parties to settle before the show began. “Deeply disappointing” was her reaction. But here’s a thought. All the disappointed media operatives huddled at Wilmington’s Superior Court, like Goldberg and CNN’s crestfallen Oliver Darcy, could make themselves useful in the president’s hometown. The indictment of Donald Trump in New York City has been portrayed as everything from the beginning of long-awaited accountability for the former president to a partisan effort to interfere in the 2024 election. Pundits have dissected it from every possible legal and political angle. Much of this commentary has been predictable, which is to say that for the most part liberal Democrats have defended it while conservative Republicans have decried it. From the standpoint of a political independent, however, what emerges from all this impassioned discourse is a more sober conclusion: Prosecutors should not carry partisan labels. We didn’t really need a Trump indictment to assert that point. There’s never

In the last two years, the defense of democracy has been central to the Democratic Party's attempt to portray itself as the last line of defense against Republicans' alleged authoritarianism. But as recent events in Nashville showed, Democrats' alleged fealty to democracy and abhorrence for agitators and mobs seeking to disrupt the legislative branch of government is more a matter of situational ethics than actual principle. As the career of a new Democratic idol, Tennessee State Rep. Justin Jones, demonstrates, they're only against anti-democratic rioters when they're seeking to silence Republicans. Jones became a national celebrity when, along with two other Democrats—Reps. Justin Pearson and Gloria Johnson—he disrupted

The Washington Post reported Thursday that “the national Democratic Party has said it will support Biden’s reelection, and it has no plans to sponsor primary debates.” It’s understandable: the Dems have a president, of sorts, and so they’re counting on the power of incumbency to help their superannuated kleptocrat get over the top again. However, it’s also immensely disappointing, because after years and years of Democratic presidential debates being dreary displays of candidates trying to out-socialist one another, 2024 Democratic primary debates would have actually had something to offer.
