Nick Shirley’s 42-minute YouTube video on daycare fraud in Minnesota is shocking not just because of the scale of abuse he uncovered in a day. It’s shocking because it took a young kid to expose this years-long scheme. Where was the mainstream media all this time?
In the must-see video, Shirley teams up with a citizen investigator and goes door-to-door visiting various “daycare” facilities in Minneapolis that got millions in taxpayer money through a Child Care Assistance Program.
The first two “daycare centers” are both located at the same address in an industrial park,

Throughout both of his presidential terms (and the years between) few supporters of President Donald Trump have been as vocal or consistent as Ret. Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
Flynn, who served briefly as national security adviser in the president’s first term, has vocally aligned himself with many of Trump’s causes over the last decade or so.
That being said, Flynn appears to be rather unsatisfied with the way 2025 has gone in this country — and he penned a blistering X post with a simple, yet profound, request for Trump and his administration. “BREAKING: We The People demand ACCOUNTABILITY!” Flynn posted early Monday.
He said to Trump, “I know you are listening

Independent journalist Nick Shirley lit up the internet with his video this past week on Minnesota day care centers, where he alleged that he didn't find children, but he did find people who didn't want to talk or answer questions. The full video is now approaching 100 million views, an amazing number. He even found one "learing center" that had a misspelled nameWhat that number of views shows,I think, is how disturbed Americans are by the subject and how much they want it to be addressed. The national attention may even have forced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to act in a defensive way, because he made this post on Sunday,

The historic old City Hall subway station, a decommissioned train stop that sits below New York City’s seat of government, will play host to Zohran Mamdani’s swearing-in as the Big Apple’s new mayor at midnight on Jan. 1, his transition team announced on Monday. Mamdani, who was in part elected on a pledge to make city buses fare-free, will take the oath of office in the ornate century-plus year-old subway station just as the calendar turns to the new year. The private event, which will be open exclusively to Mamdani’s family and select members of the press, will see him

Minnesotans begged House Majority Whip Tom Emmer more than a decade ago to halt the flood of Somali refugees to the area, but the lawmaker scolded them for their concerns.
Minnesota’s Somali population is back in the spotlight after YouTuber Nick Shirley posted a video canvassing multiple Somali-run childcare centers accused of fraud. However, A resurfaced audio clip from “This American Life” shows that voters were concerned about mass Somali migration long before the recent controversy. In an episode that aired in October 2016, journalist Zoe Chace narrated portions of the story, including a reflection on a July 2015 town hall event at Aces Bar in downtown St. Cloud.

Far-left billionaire powerbroker George Soros and his family have lavished more than $71,000 into New York Attorney General Letitia James campaign coffers since 2019, including a robust $31,000 to help the longtime adversary of President Donald Trump get re-elected next year, according to a report Sunday by the New York Post.
Citing Board of Elections records, the Post reported that campaign donations included $18,000 from Soros in July 2024 and another $13,000 from his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Soros, in May. Soros and his family also gave James another $40,000 dating back to 2019 for previous campaigns.

A group linked to Democrat billionaire megadonor George Soros is holding trainings in Washington, DC on how to use jury duty to "protect our people especially those with marginalized identities."
Free DC, along with the black activist group Harriet’s Wildest Dreams, have been hosting "Juror Information Project" meetings in DC, with an upcoming date of the "teach-in" being described as a discussion on "what it really means to serve on a jury and how we can use that role to protect our people especially those with marginalized identities who are disproportionately targeted by the criminal legal system." Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz pushed back against the ever-growing fraud allegations levied against him in the disastrous aftermath of a viral video where an independent journalist cracked open a crucial part of the alleged Somali aid scheme.
A spokesperson for Walz, a Democrat who frequently provokes President Trump’s ire, addressed a bombshell video posted by conservative YouTuber Nick Shirley.
“The governor has worked for years to crack down on fraud and ask the state legislature for more authority to take aggressive action. He has strengthened oversight — including launching investigations into these specific facilities, one of which was already closed,” the spokesperson told Fox News.

For years now, there have been whispers coming out of Minnesota about massive fraud hiding in plain sight. Not small-time scams. Not paperwork errors. We’re talking about an entire ecosystem built around public money, weak oversight, and political protection.
A recent investigative report from Nick Shirley blew the lid off just how deep this all goes. At the center of it all is a web of nonprofits, shell organizations, and state-funded programs that were supposed to help low-income families, but instead, they became a money-printing operation. And one of the biggest engines driving that machine is something most people would never suspect…

In an interview with Politico, President Trump commented about the upcoming 2026 mid-term elections:
I think it’s going to be about the success of our country. It’ll be about pricing. Because, you know, they (the Biden administration) gave us high pricing, and we’re bringing it down. Energy’s way down. Gasoline is way down.
He also said he is confident Americans will be receptive to his economic message - that his administration is cleaning up the mess he inherited from Biden.
Addressing inflation and blaming former President Biden is a smart strategy for getting out the GOP base

KYIV, Ukrain – The United States is offering Ukraine security guarantees for a period of 15 years as part of a proposed peace plan, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Monday, though he said he would prefer an American commitment of up to 50 years to deter Russia from further attempts to seize its neighbor’s land by force.(snip)egotiators are still searching for a breakthrough on key issues, however, including whose forces withdraw from where and the fate of the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, one of the 10 biggest in the world.
