In an extraordinary military operation, the United States launched a large-scale military operation in Caracas, Venezuela, early Saturday, with Special Forces seizing President Nicolás Maduro and his wife. There is a pending 2020 indictment of Maduro in the Southern District of New York, where he is expected to be taken to face prosecution. The operation comes not long after the 37th anniversary of the capture of Manuel Antonio Noriega on Dec. 20, 1989. Noriega was convicted of drug and money laundering offenses and sentenced to 40 years in prison. He was tried in Miami.

True, but also because one or more of the Democrat traitors in Congress with cartel ties would have tipped them off. Count on it.

I read a side piece about the growing presence of Hezbollah and some Hamas on Margarita Island, made possible by Maduro. That is also a violation of the Monroe Doctrine and Trump should deal with those actors as well.

There are few things members of the legacy media hate more than free and “unfettered” conversations, which means there are few things they love more than the censorial European technocrat. Thus, to absolutely no one’s surprise, certain members of the American press have come to the defense of the five Europeans hit last week with visa restrictions by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. “Trump administration sanctions five foreigners it considers at odds with American values: Russians? Chinese? Iranians? No, Europeans who fight disinformation and online abuse but stand accused by Trump officials of censorship,” writes New York Times chief White House correspondent Peter Baker.

If it felt like 2025 was just one big psyop orchestrated by the Democrat Party and its accomplice media stooges, that’s because in many ways, it was. Learning nothing from the political and ratings beatings they took in 2024, the left and its corporate media allies doubled down on twisting the truth during the first year of Trump 2.0. Here are the top 25 lies of 2025: 1. The ‘Maryland Man’ Illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia has allegedly made a career out of smuggling fellow illegal aliens. As the 1992 campaign approached, incumbent president George H.W. Bush was seen as a shoo-in for reelection. The First Gulf War ended in 1991 with a spectacular U.S. victory at the head of a coalition that had expelled Saddam Hussein from Kuwait with few losses. For much of 1991, Bush’s approval ratings hovered between 90 and 70 percent. By February 1992, an obscure Arkansas governor, Bill Clinton, emerged as the favorite Democratic nominee. But he was written off as having little chance to knock off the popular Republican incumbent president with far more foreign affairs experience.

Calvin Coolidge inaugurated two important presidential traditions related to Christmas. In 1923, Coolidge became the first president to light the National Christmas Tree. Then, four years later, he wrote the first official presidential Christmas message to the American people. “President Coolidge and his family helped make Christmas a truly public White House tradition,” the White House Historical Association observes. The first tree lighting attracted more than six thousand people to the Ellipse and drew extensive media coverage. Thanks to burgeoning mass communications—“radio, illustrated magazines, and newsreel coverage”— “the First Family’s celebration of Christmas became a vital part of our national yuletide festivities.”

Nothing bothers the European elite as much as American conservatives praising the European foundations of their shared, but threatened, Western civilization. Europeans especially resent having their social-welfare state system critiqued by upstart, crass Americans. Their pique only increases as they push back against the condescending American idea that the U.S. could possibly offer any constructive advice, much less help a more civilized Europe follow the “American model.” Americans, in turn, are worried that Europe is not just stagnating but is on a trajectory of permanent decline—with dire consequences for the entire Western world.

The cruelty that has been heaped on Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika, since his assassination three months ago has been unrelenting. First it was leftist ghouls cheering on his cold-blooded murder, in front of a crowd of 3,000 people at the first stop of his Turning Point USA “American Comeback Tour” outdoors on the campus of Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. The ghouls gloried in the death of the young father of two, mimicked the instant the bullet hit his throat, created T-shirts with his image and gushes of blood to celebrate the moment his voice was silenced.

It is hard now even for Democrats to defend illegal immigration, given that the Biden administration allowed in more than 10 million entrants. Among them were an estimated 500,000 criminals. No one believes that was wise or should ever be repeated. Worse, the message went out that there would be few, if any, deportations and no real ICE kinetic activity beyond the border. The world’s poor, sick, both law-abiding and criminal, young and old, understood that anyone could now enter the U.S. at will. Deterrence and legality were lost.

A criminal cartel has taken over my country, and its reach now extends into the United States. Anyone who believes this is “just another authoritarian regime” is dangerously mistaken. This is organized crime in power, armed and bankrolled by America’s enemies. Across the hemisphere, narco-terrorist groups and the dictators who shield them are clawing for more control. They don’t just threaten their own nations. They weaken democracies, poison our societies and target the United States directly. Nowhere is this clearer than in Venezuela.

Thanksgiving: America’s Forgotten Religious Holiday 5 replies

Thanksgiving is America’s forgotten religious holiday. Not simply a holiday, it was meant to be a true holy day. That it is forgotten as such runs counter to the original Thanksgiving. It also runs counter to logic. And it also runs right into those who seek to imbue it with their own cultural causes. America has many holidays that have nothing to do with “holy days,” from whence the word came. Labor Day is a holiday but not a holy day. Arbor Day is on the calendar but hardly holy — perhaps, unless you are a druid. “Holiday” has become just a secularized term

In the contention over the United States’ peace plan for Ukraine, the Europeans are in their accustomed role — carping from the sidelines. Not only can the once-great European powers no longer dictate the fate of far-flung parts of the world, they can’t even dictate the end of a war involving a European country whose fate they deem crucial to their own future. We’re a long way from the British controlling about a quarter of the globe’s territory in the early 20th century; a long way from British and French diplomats, Mark Sykes and François Georges-Picot respectively, drawing the lines in 1916 to divide up the Ottoman Empire;

At one time in my life, I was an operating-room nurse, both participating in and witnessing the things that just about every person on earth can’t stand to think about. So, I can say with some authority that splinters in particularly sensitive areas of the body––often the kind that happen when sitting on a fence––can cause significant discomfort. And removing them requires a recovery period that involves quite a bit of post-op pain. Metaphorically speaking, VP JD Vance has been sitting for quite a while on a splintery fence, trying to camouflage his dislike of Jews and Israel with fancified language, while at the same time,

Former President Joe Biden’s long career in politics allowed him to retire with the largest taxpayer-funded pension of any ex-prez in US history — $417,000, or more than his presidential salary, an expert says. Biden, 83, was in line to rake in the massive amount from two pension funds in his first year as former president, according to an analysis by National Taxpayer Union Foundation Vice President Demian Brady. “It’s pretty unusual, historically unusual, to have such a large pension amount,” Brady told The Post. “I would have to say that it’s the largest,” the taxpayer advocate said when asked to compare Biden’s pension to his predecessors.

Kids are arriving on college campuses with fewer skills and diminished attention spans. But, rather than challenge students, many colleges are lowering institutional standards to accommodate them. Colleges around the country have English courses that require students to read a single book all semester. Ivy League schools are rolling out remedial math classes. And some schools are teaching kids skills as basic as structuring sentences. Colleges surely have a challenge on their hands as high schools graduate less distinguished classes, but lowering the bar is the sort of coddling that keeps kids from reaching their potential. College is meant to stretch you to your intellectual max. It’s not a time for hand-holding.

Christmas week was rather a slow week, with the big news being the further unraveling of the corruption in Minnesota, Washington state, California, and other Democrat redoubts. But like George Washington crossing the Delaware to beat the Hessians as they rested on Christmas, the U.S. pulled off an incredible military operation capturing Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro in his pajamas and bringing him back here to answer to criminal charges. The Venezuelan military was largely on Christmas leave and Maduro’s international protectors --- the Chinese and Russian forces in Venezuela -- were caught flatfooted, diminishing their credibility in the Western Hemisphere. The impact of this operation was enormous.

Trump promised peace, but has delivered chaos.” “The most important thing we can do is elect more Democrats who will check this administration’s power,” the email continues.
