The Price of Eliminating Consequences

Original Article

Recently there were some remarkable online videos of a Portland, Oregon good Samaritan confronting shoplifters and forcing them to dump loads of their pilfered goods. More stunning, however, was the sheer outrage -- of the thieves! They pouted. They screamed. They resisted. How dare anyone stop them from stealing anything they wished. The criminals entertained no fear of any consequences for walking out with bags of things that were not theirs. They had no care that mainstreaming their habits would undermine the entire fabric of society.

No description of the criminals, but I'll bet they are not Amish or Menoites. Portland is a socialist paradise disguised as a manure patch

Consequences are like reality in that both will run you over like a Mack truck if ignored. These people are getting what they deserve. No sympathy here. Behave like savages and end up living in a wasteland.

The left has eliminated consequences with prosecutorial discretion to not enforce any law. That is jury nullification practiced by the DOJ and District Attorneys. It nullifies every law ever passed by Congress and State Legislatures. Then, there is Congressional immunity. Anything can be done by a member of Congress, it seems. The Democrat Party will protect their members. And if it cannot be done legally in the U.S., government agencies and American corporations will farm it out to foreign countries. These practices have obliterated attorney client privilege, executive privilege, double jeopardy, discovery, due process, and the bill of rights. The entire constitutional and legal structure of the country has been destroyed by the left.

When the barbarians are already inside the gates what can you do? Law enforcement can't protect you. Local governments ignore the issue. The legal system has gone blind and dumb, letting criminals roam the streets scot free. Federal law enforcement is a joke, only seeking out Catholics to torment. The Federal Government sees a white supremacist behind every nook and cranny. The President is a vegetable, controlled by a foreign adversary, bought and paid for through his grifting offspring and siblings. Roman citizens must have felt this way when the Western Roman Empire dissolved and left the citizens to the barbarians to play with. America is fubared beyond repair. All you can do is arm yourself with the weapon(s) of your choice. Be self sufficient - be able to make your own ammunition. It's not hard to do. When the SHTF, you will be on your own, left to yourself to survive. Be prepared. It wont be pretty. Be a survivor.

Prince Andrew is faced with another major "letdown" as King Charles prepares for his coronation. The Duke of York is said to be "furious" over the possibility that he’ll be banned from wearing his ceremonial roles when the king is crowned on May 6. The 63-year-old, a knight in the Order of the Garter, was expecting to wear his grand regalia, the Mirror recently reported. However, the king is allegedly "torn" over this decision. "The letdown for Charles' younger brother may be even worse than what has been reported,"

In another example of Washington’s inexorable slide into banana republic territory, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) took to the floor of the U.S. Senate on Tuesday to call for the removal of an American journalist. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen an anchor treat the American people, and American democracy, with such disdain,” Schumer said during his seven-minute authoritarian tirade. “And he’s going to come back tonight with another segment. Fox News should tell him not to. Fox News, Rupert Murdoch—tell Mr. Carlson not to run a second segment of lies. You know it’s a lie.”

America’s top medical schools, worried they have too few minority students, are doing something about it. They are lowering academic standards for admission and trying to hide the evidence. Columbia, Harvard, the University of Chicago, Stanford, Mount Sinai, and the University of Pennsylvania have already done so. The list already tops forty, and more are sure to follow. Of course, the universities won’t admit what they are doing – and certainly not why. All they will say is that their new standards add “equity” and “lived experience.” Unfortunately, adding those factors inevitably lessens the weight given to others.

Mitch McConnell has fallen at a hotel in Washington and is currently in the hospital. Two questions immediately spring to mind, neither of which have answers at this point: is this the end of the dreary McConnell era of establishment Republican Me-Tooism? And is there some karmic relationship between Mitch’s fall and his throwing Tucker Carlson under the bus and affirming the Left’s bogus Jan. 6 “insurrection” narrative?

Seizing an opening in their long war against Fox News, mainstream news outlets are blasting out reports that some of the network’s leading stars appear to have knowingly lied about the 2020 election. In blanket coverage that echoes reporting on the invasion of Normandy, they are hammering Fox with one-sided court documents that suggest they deceived their audience by pretending Trump might have won when they knew he had lost. The charge that this episode proves Fox is not a legitimate news outlet is overkill, but if the emails and texts released so far are not just cherry-picked tidbits, the actions of some of its hosts were indefensible.

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kapernick accused his adoptive parents of "perpetuating racism" in an interview that aired Thursday. Kaepernick talked about coming to terms with his racial identity while growing up in a White family in his new graphic novel, "Change the Game." The former football player recalled disagreements with his parents that he attributed to racism, calling his upbringing "problematic." "I know my parents loved me. But there were still very problematic things that I went through," the biracial quarterback said to CBS News. "I think it was important to show that, no, this can happen in your own home, and how we move forward collectively while addressing the racism

For more than two years, while they controlled every lever of power in Washington, the Democratic Party and their media allies told a one-sided story about what happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. For more than two years, the surveillance footage from the 2021 Capitol riot, aired this week by Tucker Carlson, was kept from the American public by a Democratic Congress so a false narrative became cemented in the public consciousness. For more than two years, footage that could have exonerated Jan. 6 defendants was kept from their legal teams. People are in prison because of that cover-up.

Pick almost any poll over the past decade and you’ll find that voters always cite the economy as their top issue. Depending on the survey, the economy issue is also often more broadly defined in surveys as “jobs,” and, in the past couple of years, as “inflation.” But, however you look at the issue of the economy, we’re seeing a subtle change in how people process the constant flow of economic data that bombards them every day. They are becoming more educated and more sophisticated on federal fiscal issues and how they impact their own economic futures. More leery of politicians spouting data points that clash with the reality

Kamala Harris may suffer from aphasia 48 replies

Kamala Harris's verbal utterances are bizarre, repetitive, and often not completed. (snip) Aphasics may do this to hide the fact that they can literally not hold onto the meaning of their narrative, to carry it to completion. So, they make up an ending to the story and then perhaps flip into a semantically weird ending. Harris often simply repeats her first sentence. This is not planned for a rational purpose, and she often solves her semantic confusion by bursting out in stereotypical laughter, with gestures, to encourage her listeners to think she just did a funny.

Senate Republicans found themselves shaken and disoriented Thursday after finding out their leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (Ky.) was in the hospital after tripping at a private event, raising questions about his health and future leadership of the GOP conference. McConnell, who in January became the longest serving party leader in Senate history, has led the Senate GOP conference since 2005 and has helped guide his colleagues through some of the biggest moments in recent history — the 2008 financial collapse, the near default of the U.S. government in 2011, the fiscal cliff of 2012, the two impeachment trials of …

A Democratic delegate proposed a law in Maryland that would bar anyone under 25 years of age from being charged with felony murder. Delegate Charlotte Crutchfield, a Democrat, made the proposition through the Youth Accountability and Safety Act, House Bill 1180, local news outlet WBFF reported. A defendant in Maryland can be charged with felony murder if the person commits a murder during a felony crime, such as robbery. Crutchfield and supporters of the bill say that the brain is not fully developed before age 25, so issuing so harsh a sentence is unfair. "We don't allow children under 18 to do a myriad of other things under the law," state

One tries to read widely on the state of the Ukraine war, though it’s extremely difficult to cut through the fog of propaganda and obvious lies. But slowly, the picture of a determined, slow-moving, grinding, painful Russian victory emerges. Ukrainian casualties are almost certainly at unbearable, unsustainable levels. Closest guesses are in the range of 250,000 KIA, orders of magnitude greater than Russia’s, which draws from a vastly larger population. Ukraine is losing a generation of its male youth, all to prop up a declining US planetary hegemony.
