Kevin McCarthy said that he doesn't regret giving Tucker Carlson footage from the January 6 Capitol attack as he repeatedly dodged questions about what the Fox News host decided to air.
The House Speaker insisted while speaking with reports outside his office on Tuesday that he had not yet seen what Carlson put on his show Monday night and therefore would not comment.
He also tore into Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for criticizing Fox for airing the footage, claiming that he should also then denounce CNN for revealing the secure locations of lawmakers the day of the Capitol riot.

Do I detect that Kevin McCarthy has some stones? I am pleasantly surprised, so far, with what he's doing. I may have been wrong and hope he keeps it up.

What are the weak spineless RINOS so worried about? The video shows what it shows. Carlson did not make the video up. Sure, he pi ked selected clips showing fairly peaceful protesters. The same way the J6 Committee only released selected clips of violent protesters. It's like these "Republicans " have Stockholm Syndrome towards their Democrat overlords and must agree with their distorted narrative of what really happened on January 6.

I don't have any respect or trust for McConnel. He serves the Deep State ONLY. His departure is of maximum importance.

Doesn’t regret? Why ever would he have regrets?

Mitch McConnell is not about to criticize Schumer in any manner. Both of them belong to the same insect species known as the Chinese Cockroach.
Not living in Kentucky, we can't keep Mitch out of the Senate, but we can hold our Senators responsible if they voted for him as minority leader. Chinese Cockroaches scurry with the light of truth is shined on them.

Who knew Kevin McCarthy was going to be such a good Speaker. He's really impressed me and I'm proud of what he's had the courage to do. As for McConnell: time to go.

Ok, Kevin.
Now release all the J6 prisoners.
Put them in house arrest. Just get them out of the prisons. Let them have their day in court.....before the tables are turned for their false imprisonments.

Mitch McConnell is not working for Republican Americans.
Why the Senators in the republican party put this old Chinese owned turtle back in a leadership position I will never understand.

We need the good people of Kentucky to elect a Republican Governor in 2023. And a good, solid Republican President in 2024 -- we have some excellent choices there, too.
We need McConnell to resign in 2024 and replace him with a solid Republican conservative. Otherwise, he's in office until the 2026 election.

The establishment is saying it's a "mistake" because it alters their desired narrative intended to "get Trump", and to tarnish Republicans, in general, so they can paint "those MAGA folks" as extreme.

I watched our Speaker surrounded by those pearl-clutchers having a spell about Tucker and the J6 Tapes. He was very calm as he stood by his decision. I think it is one of two things. Speaker McCarthy knows Murdoch will not allow the most damaging ones to air or Murdoch will only air a few. The other thing is McCarthy has the Brave 6 still watching and breathing down his neck. He figures when truth really unfolds, the gig is up and does not want to be one of the exposed Republicans who are with Democrats about J6.

I've been pretty skeptical of McCarthy....but this releasing (sort of) the Jan 6th security tapes is a major good move.
Now....put them ALL on a web site, accessible to everyone.
