Joe Biden’s 2023 Border Budget: More
Money for Migrants

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 3/9/2023 8:06:10 PM

President Joe Biden’s budget asks for more money to help deliver more legal, quasi-legal, and illegal migrants into the jobs and homes needed by Americans. Biden’s budget asks for money to hire 500 extra border guards who catch migrants — and money to hire 460 more people to release the migrants so they can travel to jobs and housing. The Democrats’ budget asks for a $4.7 billion “contingency fund” to operate the existing network of non-profit groups, shelters, training courses, travel routes, and healthcare checks which get low-wage migrants into the jobs that would otherwise go to better-paid Americans.

A burner account, kids, is an anonymous account that a person, often a public figure, uses in order to have the freedom to say things that the public figure in question wouldn’t dare say if they could be attributed to him or her. One of the most notorious burner accounts was Mitt Romney’s Pierre Delecto, which he used to champion the last principled, upright politician in the land, a chap named Mitt Romney. Now, however, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been unmasked as the operator of a burner account that gives old Pierre a run for his money. AOC has apparently even used it to wish death on at least one person.

The Russian woman arrested on suspicion of assassinating one of Vladimir Putin's propagandists in a bomb attack has today admitted she carried the statue laden with explosives into a cafe in St Petersburg - but insisted she had been 'set up'. Daria Trepova, 26, was filmed with her hands chained to a radiator while being interrogated by Russian investigators over the assassination of Kremlin propagandist Vladen Tatarsky, 40. In the video, where Trepova kept looking away from the camera as she spoke, the anti-war activist admitted taking the statue to Tatarsky at the Street Food No 1 cafe before he was blown to pieces in Sunday's blast.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) told Breitbart News Saturday that, in the context of the Donald Trump indictment, Democrats are afraid he will enter the Oval Office again because he will “let the truth ring out” and take down corruption in D.C. Van Drew, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, spoke to Breitbart News Saturday host and Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle as a New York grand jury decided to indict Donald Trump, making him the first former president to face criminal charges. Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, indirectly received financing from leftist billionaire George Soros.

While police are catching criminals on New York City's unsavory streets, Soros-tied Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has caught a chronic case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). The politically ambitious Bragg, whose self-styled crowning achievement is indicting a former U.S. president for the first time ever in American history, is using what he alleges to be a federal campaign-finance violation as a means to upgrade an otherwise-misdemeanor charge to a felony via an untested legal theory.

If major corporations hated your guts, what would they be doing differently? The answer is nothing, which leaves an astute observer to conclude that they do, in fact, hate your guts. The latest example of that comes from Bud Light, which has decided to make a deranged, attention-seeking transgender woman the face of its brand. No, this was not an April Fools joke. It’s real, and Dylan Mulvaney is now a brand ambassador for the popular beer brand. He released two videos on Saturday showing a commemorative can Bud Light produced to celebrate his “365th day of girlhood.” Mulvaney also plugged March Madness for the brand,

The Biden administration is preparing to implement a sweeping nationwide ban on commonly used light bulbs as part of its energy efficiency and climate agenda. The regulations, which prohibit retailers from selling incandescent light bulbs, were finalized by the Department of Energy (DOE) in April 2022 and are slated to go into effect on Aug. 1, 2023. The DOE will begin full enforcement of the ban on that date, but it has already urged retailers to begin transitioning away from the light bulb type and, in recent months, begun issuing warning notices to companies. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is really making a name for himself on a national level, likely much to his eventual regret. After convincing a grand jury to bring preposterous charges against Donald Trump, Bragg had to find something to keep himself busy until Tuesday, and a New York garage attendant named Moussa Diarra offered him that opportunity. Diarra was working the overnight shift yesterday when he spotted Charles Rhodie rooting around the garage with a bag, apparently attempting to steal some of the tools and equipment in the garage. Diarra confronted Rhodie and demanded to inspect the bag.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, yesterday, March 31, was proclaimed to be Transgender Day of Visibility. This apparently started back in 2010, though I don’t recall hearing about it until this year. It is, perhaps, somehow appropriate that they assigned this holiday to fall the day before April Fools Day, but that’s a debate for another time. There was some confusion over the name because a group of trans activists had also declared March 31st to be the “transgender day of vengeance.” (That wound up being canceled at the last minute, apparently when people noticed it and started talking about it on social media.)

Like most big cities, Chicago has a crime problem. The city is not unique in that respect, nor is it unique in residents charging the police with racism, brutality, and the targeting of minorities. But Chicago is afflicted with a deadly combination: a police department that walks on eggshells for fear of being accused of brutality, thus making far fewer arrests, and a local prosecutor who believes it’s more important to impose her idea of “restorative justice” than enforce the law. The city’s police department is under a Department of Justice consent decree that does little to address the real, systemic problems on the Chicago police force but adds reams

Hillsdale College, a revered institution at which I have had the honor to lecture on several occasions, revoked the Tallahassee Classical School’s license to use its curriculum after the Florida institution fired its principal for showing a photo of Michelangelo’s nude statue of David without notifying parents. At least one parent considered the image pornographic. Hillsdale explained, “This drama around teaching Michelangelo’s ‘David” sculpture, one of the most important works of art in existence, has become a distraction from, and a parody of, the actual aims of classical education. Of course, Hillsdale’s K-12 art curriculum includes Michelangelo’s ‘David’ and other works of art that depict the human form.
