The Peter (Buttigieg) Principle

Original Article

In the 1960s, there was a professor and business analyst named Laurence J. Peter. He became famous for coming up with something called the Peter Principle. The informal way to describe it was this: In a business hierarchy, an employee does well and is promoted. He does well in his new, higher-level job and is promoted again. He does well in that position and is promoted yet again. Finally, he rises to a job that is beyond his abilities. He is no longer promoted and stays in the job he does not do well. "In a hierarchy, every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence," Peter wrote.

The dilemma that arises is the following - Pete Buttigieg is Transportation Secretary for one reason and one reason only. His incompetency, on many levels, has been known for quite some time.

I've never heard of the Peter Principle but I'm sure that takes place, and certainly did with Buttplug. Kamala Harris' incompetence is an example of continuing to be promoted long after her abilities were reached. Her first political job was an appointment by Mayor Willie Brown with whom she had an adulterous affair, and then she continued to rise beyond her abilities.

What role did Buttigieg play in the decision to burn that train? If he wasn’t a part of it, why not? If he was, he needs to explain why he thought it was a good idea and what the expected aftereffects on locals and the region will be. And why was an overloaded, undermanned train carrying highly toxic chemicals allowed to travel at all? To whom were the contents bound? Was there anything on it that needed to be burned to hide evidence of wrongdoing?

When my dad was priming me for the corporate world, we had lots of discussions about that principle. I dont think Buttgig has just reached it. He reached it long before he hit the national stage. No, he was hired for the same reason as all the other sexual spastics in the Biden administration; because he filled a diversity square. He boinks boys, and thats his one qualification.

Just for reference Pete's campaign claim if success with the South Bend economy was only because fascist Frau Whitmer shut down just the small businesses in Michigan forcing her taxed servants to flee to South Bend and other border cities for their retail, dining, entertainment and freedom. His Democrats can be credited but not him. AGAIN!

A decade ago, Daniel Di Martino fled Venezuela to escape the socialist regime that had been in place nearly all his life. He was only 17 at the time. Di Martino, who is now a fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a doctoral candidate in economics at Columbia University, saw firsthand how socialism destroyed his once-prosperous country. While he couldn’t be happier about the Trump administration’s recent capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, Di Martino is concerned about the rise of socialist ideas in the United States – including in New York City, where he works, with the election of Mayor Zohran Mamdani, an open democratic socialist.

President Donald Trump announced in an early Friday morning Truth Social post that he has "cancelled the previously expected second Wave of Attacks" against Venezuela in light of the "cooperation" between the foreign nation and the U.S. "Venezuela is releasing large numbers of political prisoners as a sign of 'Seeking Peace.' This is a very important and smart gesture. The U.S.A. and Venezuela are working well together, especially as it pertains to rebuilding, in a much bigger, better, and more modern form, their oil and gas infrastructure. Because of this cooperation, I have cancelled the previously expected second Wave of Attacks, which looks like it will not be needed,

America and the world are safer today thanks to the bold actions of President Trump and his team in Venezuela. Exactly six years to the day after we took out Iranian Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani (an operation I had the privilege to help lead as Secretary of State), the President and his team neutralized another threat to America by capturing Venezuelan dictator and indicted narco-terrorist Nicolas Maduro. Let’s be clear: Maduro is a fugitive of American justice who stole two elections and is not the legitimate ruler of Venezuela; that honor belongs to Edmundo González, the democratic opposition candidate who won the 2024 election.

In an extraordinary military operation, the United States launched a large-scale military operation in Caracas, Venezuela, early Saturday, with Special Forces seizing President Nicolás Maduro and his wife. There is a pending 2020 indictment of Maduro in the Southern District of New York, where he is expected to be taken to face prosecution. The operation comes not long after the 37th anniversary of the capture of Manuel Antonio Noriega on Dec. 20, 1989. Noriega was convicted of drug and money laundering offenses and sentenced to 40 years in prison. He was tried in Miami.

Thus, to absolutely no one’s surprise, certain members of the American press have come to the defense of the five Europeans hit last week with visa restrictions by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. “Trump administration sanctions five foreigners it considers at odds with American values: Russians? Chinese? Iranians? No, Europeans who fight disinformation and online abuse but stand accused by Trump officials of censorship,” writes New York Times chief White House correspondent Peter Baker.

As the 1992 campaign approached, incumbent president George H.W. Bush was seen as a shoo-in for reelection. The First Gulf War ended in 1991 with a spectacular U.S. victory at the head of a coalition that had expelled Saddam Hussein from Kuwait with few losses. For much of 1991, Bush’s approval ratings hovered between 90 and 70 percent. By February 1992, an obscure Arkansas governor, Bill Clinton, emerged as the favorite Democratic nominee. But he was written off as having little chance to knock off the popular Republican incumbent president with far more foreign affairs experience.

Calvin Coolidge inaugurated two important presidential traditions related to Christmas. In 1923, Coolidge became the first president to light the National Christmas Tree. Then, four years later, he wrote the first official presidential Christmas message to the American people. “President Coolidge and his family helped make Christmas a truly public White House tradition,” the White House Historical Association observes. The first tree lighting attracted more than six thousand people to the Ellipse and drew extensive media coverage. Thanks to burgeoning mass communications—“radio, illustrated magazines, and newsreel coverage”— “the First Family’s celebration of Christmas became a vital part of our national yuletide festivities.”

Nothing bothers the European elite as much as American conservatives praising the European foundations of their shared, but threatened, Western civilization. Europeans especially resent having their social-welfare state system critiqued by upstart, crass Americans. Their pique only increases as they push back against the condescending American idea that the U.S. could possibly offer any constructive advice, much less help a more civilized Europe follow the “American model.” Americans, in turn, are worried that Europe is not just stagnating but is on a trajectory of permanent decline—with dire consequences for the entire Western world.

It is hard now even for Democrats to defend illegal immigration, given that the Biden administration allowed in more than 10 million entrants. Among them were an estimated 500,000 criminals. No one believes that was wise or should ever be repeated. Worse, the message went out that there would be few, if any, deportations and no real ICE kinetic activity beyond the border. The world’s poor, sick, both law-abiding and criminal, young and old, understood that anyone could now enter the U.S. at will. Deterrence and legality were lost.

A criminal cartel has taken over my country, and its reach now extends into the United States. Anyone who believes this is “just another authoritarian regime” is dangerously mistaken. Woke colleges and universities across the country are being forced to do with less and are slashing thousands of jobs. This is a good thing. Higher education in America has become fat and bloated. At some schools, there are almost as many administrators as there are students. And people still wonder why tuition has gone up so much in recent decades. There is no need for an ‘assistant vice president of campus diversity’ yet many schools have them. Maybe they should start cutting those positions first. A new report from Inside Higher Education says the university system is bleeding jobs.
