Congressional Republicans’ “Commitment to America” isn’t just a legislative agenda, it’s part of the broader effort to restore the voice of the people to Capitol Hill, and that involves advancements in how they communicate with their constituents.
Predating the Founding Fathers, “franking” has existed as a means to facilitate communicating matters of official government business with the public. Though reliable, direct mail simply can’t beat modern forms of communication for expedience, range, and cost-effectiveness.To that end, members of the House Republican Conference will be rolling out a truly modern update to directly reach the people of their districts wherever they are through text messaging.

"These messages, which can be expected as little as once a month from participating members, will remain focused on best serving the will of the people."
Can be expected? From texts etc? Groan! The technical term is "spam."

I got a text from Nikki Haley today. Deleted it and blocked the number.

Our elected 'leaders' appear to think the answer to everything is for constituents to send money... more and more and more money. Let's see some difference... advertising isn't saving our great nation.

So we are now going to be spammed by Republicans. Wonderful! And is that it? The new Republican plan to win elections: texting. And people scoff when another party is suggested.

I've been getting daily calls from the RNC. Anything with a 202 area code doesn't get answered. Lately, they've starting using numbers from my area code, but now I'm on to that scam as well. They can call or write every hour, but I won't give them a dime.

I won't be sending one red cent to the GOP. I DO support individual candidates directly, but not a penny to the Republican Crooks-in-Charge like McConnell and other criminals of the Deep State.

Fix the voting fraud you idiots. Deny federal funds to states who won't adhere to laws they already have on the books, or won't take action to right obvious weak laws. Damn fools.

They've been spamming emails for several years now. If you ever donated to a Republican candidate or the RNC, they share your email with EVERYBODY claiming to be an R. It is no exaggeration to say that I get at LEAST 20 Republican spams a day from the RNC masquerading as Newt Gingrich, Kevin McCarthy, Nikki Haley, Ron Johnson, and a couple of days ago I started getting them from Marco Rubio - and others. Oddly enough, I don't get them from Mitch and Ronna anymore. They may have figured out they were a turnoff to the riff-raff little people like me who USED to donate.

So, even our Congressmen have given up on the post office. One month ago, yesterday, I ordered goods online. It took two days for them to traverse the Country via DHL. They have now sat for 28 days at the regional post office 25 miles from my home.

Unless that’s code for ballot harvesting, I’m not impressed.

So, instead of building a political platform, sticking to it, and penalizing RINO's with things like removal of endorsement and being booted from the party, they'll use new media to try (unsuccessfully) to hoodwink Republican and supposedly "independent" voters into supporting horrible candidates who will continue to sell us down the river. Yeah, that'll work. Just as well as it has been without new media.

Re #9, I had that 4-10 per day email spamming for years. I deleted them all immediately and finally after 100% failure to get any responses, they finally seemed to tail off. I hardly am bothered any more by the RNC liars....and yes, claiming to be all sorts of well known Republicans....and of course, being just an automated spamming system, rotating a list of fraudulent names.
NO MONEY to RNC.
