Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg appeared to wear dress boots while surveying the train derailment on the ground in East Palestine, Ohio. Buttigieg visited Ohio on Thursday nearly three weeks after the East Palestine train derailment spilled toxic chemicals into the environment. The secretary appeared to be wearing leather dress boots, instead of heavy-duty shoes like work boots, while surveying damage in the city. (Photo) A Department of Transportation spokesperson told FOX News Digital that the shoes were "boots" but had no record of the brand.

From what I saw on tv, he didn’t want to be there. His press Secretary didn’t want to be there. I think his visit just made matters worse. He doesn’t like these people, and he doesn’t care what happens to them. He’s way out of his league in this job. Heck, he was out of his league as mayor of South Bend.

Whoever made a deal with this dolt to drop out of the South Carolina primary in 2020 in exchange for a Cabinet post should have his head examined. Talk about a something for nothing trade. The laziest and most worthless Transportation Secretary ever. And to think he lasted longer in the primaries than the equally useless VP. This is the most wretched, evil, illegitimate and unqualified administration in history.

Butt Pete of the Village People made an appearance in East Palestine Ohio and there are no pictures of residents surrounding him and asking him questions. He came in the dark and left exhausted - there were photos of that. Did any residents see him? Did he stay and answer their questions? There is no record. Where are the photos? Even the Daily Mail doesn't have them. Will he be seen again in East Palestine? Does the sun rise in the west?

At this point there is absolutely nothing anyone in this administration could do to achieve legitimacy on any subject or problem. They have so screwed up everything the best thing they could have done was stay away and pretend it doesn't exist. Kind of like the border and inflation and crime. Let the FBI handle things behind the scenes. They'll destroy whatever food processors and railroads need destroyed.

It was one of the biggest mysteries of the Capitol Riots: How could former President Donald J. Trump have possibly be carrying out a “coup” on the capitol without the aid of the U.S. military and only with the help of a bunch of unarmed extremists? Former Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller recently joined podcaster Tim Pool and addressed this very topic. Christopher C. Miller served as the Acting Secretary of Defense from Nov. 9, 2020 until Jan. 20, 2021. His remarks are well worth reporting. (Video)

During an interview with Joe Biden that aired on Friday, ABC’s David Muir asked Joe Biden if he would be running again. He said Muir should ask Jill Biden, referencing comments Jill Biden made earlier in the day during her visit to Africa. It was sort of a joke. But it also told you who is running the show here. When it comes to things, she’s the handler. Jill got snippy with the interviewer, the AP’s Darlene Superville, for even daring to ask the question, as though it was already a settled thing. “How many times does he have to say it for you to believe it?” Jill said

President Joe Biden's mental health is declining; that's no secret. However, it is alarming when he can't make it through an interview without stumbling over his words or being unable to recall whether he's already talked to someone.  During an interview with ABC on the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, Biden said that he has "talked to everyone that there is to talk to" but can't remember who he has spoken to.  Host David Muir asked Biden if he plans to travel to Ohio and has talked to the mayor.  "I can't recall whether I've — I don't think I've talked to the mayor. According to historian and filmmaker Amity Shlaes, modern America under President Joe Biden is not all that different from the America that then-President Calvin Coolidge, a Republican, faced when he took office in 1923. “It was very similar to today, almost eerily similar,” she said this week to Fox News. She proceeded to provide three specific examples. “We were coming out of a pandemic, influenza. Two, we had recession… or the prospect of recession. Three, we had hidden inflation. The government wasn’t acknowledging to people that prices were up 40%,” she said.

Among those alternatives is Biden’s “second” — Kamala Harris, known for her word salads and her cackles, but not much else. Indeed, it would be hard to point to one solid achievement that she’s had since she came into office.

It had been months since the president dared to answer questions aside from brief encounters with reporters outside the White House. Nightline is obviously friendly territory, and the questions were mostly mundane at best. Expecting Biden to consistently make contact with softballs is never a good bet, though. In a clip that was released on Saturday morning, the president was confronted with the comments from East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway. In them, the mayor criticized the optics of Biden galavanting in Ukraine while still refusing to visit the ecological disaster area
