The U.S. is expected to quadruple the number of U.S. forces deployed to Taiwan in the coming months as tensions with Beijing continue to simmer.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that the Pentagon plans to deploy between 100 and 200 troops to the self-ruled island, up from around 30 a year ago.
Servicemembers from the Marines and the special forces have been sent to Taiwan in the past and the number has fluctuated over the years.
However, this uptick would mark the biggest increase of American troops on the ground in Taiwan in decades.

China will take them captive and make them hostages for a substantial ransom which Biden will pay gladly. Of course Hunter will broker the deal and the Big Guy will get his usual cut.

Is Biden planning a nuclear war with China and Russia? Biden and Blinken foreign policy does not seem to be working.

Taiwan has a population of over 23 million. Adding 200 LGTBSXZRK "soldiers" will have less protective power than the arrival of a gay cruise ship and won't help their economy as much.

The Resident is trying to start a (expletive deleted) war. Pure criminality by him. I guess it doesn't matter whether it's Russia or China, if not both. Out of control is what this fraudulent administration is. Sane people need to intervene before the thermonuclear headache we're going to undergo.

QUADRUPLE the forces?!?! Yes, sir, there were 2, and now there are 8. It made ours the fastest-growing military presence in the Pacific region.
DM demonstrates how it's just as easy to use numbers to distort perceptions (just as easy as it is to clarify perceptions). It just epends on who's using them and what their purpose is.

In my heart, I believe the medal-chested desk-based generals are the ones planning the war. It's good for their book sales.

1955 Eisenhower sent 700 military personnel and advisors to Vietnam. First step related to a bad idea. Do they really believe they can stop China from taking over Taiwan?

A. We were told repeatedly that Trump would get us into a war while the “moderate” Biden had a wealth of international experience to keep us out of wars. In just 25 months, Biden has us on the verge of two major wars, with North Korea and Iran in the on deck circle.
B. If there is US troop involvement, Biden will blame Trump.
C. In 25 more months, assuming Repubs retake WH, Dems will stun us by becoming the anti-war or wars party in order to undermine the Repub president. Even though they committed our forces to Taiwan and the Ukraine without any treaty obligations.

China taking Hong Kong shows their president is aggressive. China has been outfitting 1,000 civilian ships to carry the one million troops necessary to invade the island. With compromised Biden they have their best opportunity.

Can’t really blame President Biden.
President Obama and Valerie Jordan and an entire concealed cohort of neo-Marxists are calling the shots.
President Biden is just the mannequin playing back the prerecorded comments.
All you have to do is listen and watch: the President as seen in public is as good as he gets. Highly unlikely that in camera with his cabinet and administrators he is a forceful and decisive leader.
Under a weak king the courtiers drive decision and policy, the dominant faction among them determines outcomes, and it’s the people who suffer. Always been that way. Now is no different.
Needless to say it was not supposed to be that way, here.

Then China calls for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
Now Biden is seems to be picking a world war with China?

Biden and the war mongers are setting us up for WWIII. If they are successful, you will see an anti-war movement like you have never seen in this country’s history. Eyes have been opened and Americans can see clearly that the military-industrial complex has done exactly what President Eisenhower warned us they would do. I will not support sending our men and women to a war that was fabricated by an old fool and the rest of the pro-war cabal to enrich themselves. Why escalate the situation by sending troops to Taiwan? It is madness.

Sure, why not? Let's support wars on two fronts and continue to let terrorists and parasites in over the southern border. We will soon see how they handle that along with the internal war. What can Joe do differently to hasten the destruction of America?

200 troops total? Unless they are members of the Marvel superhero club with Superman thrown in this is nothing more than a trip wire to justify another war front. These world-wide skirmishes are just another way to launder money and break the back of the American taxpayer.
Don't ya see? We have to give a trillion dollars to the Ukraine ... and soon Taiwan too.

What a stupid move. We could send 10,000 troops over there and it wouldn't matter. Does no one at the White House know how man Chinese there are? There are 2 Million people in the Chinese military.
Just another worry Trump had under control.

Do not under estimate the ability of the Taiwan army to defend their country.
Despite all of Communist China's threats and shelling over 70 years, Quemoy and Matsu are still part of Taiwan.

Oh well...the Obama/biden regime have stuck the pig...in this case china...and now they need to cover their posteriors...with the press...and with an election coming down the road...it's all so predictable...they are not leaders...they are only doing what has been arranged with china...in advance...I'm sure general milk toast milley has notified china of the move before hand.... Putin has no off ramp to the war in Ukraine...and attention has to be pulled from the stalemate before china's visit to Russia....

A wonderful idea let's just keep provoking the commies into world war. I have an idea send all the warmongers and their children first along with the chow hound bloated general Milley so they have skin in the game. I paid my dues in the draft to fight a useless war for politicians never again especially not for the crew of misfits like Biden running the show. FJB
