Health concerns for Ohio residents are growing after a train carrying toxic chemicals crashed and engulfed surrounding neighborhoods in black smoke. East Palestine resident Melissa Henry told the Associated Press her youngest son's 'eyes turned red as tomato and he was coughing a lot' before the family evacuated to her parents' house outside the evacuation zone. Another resident in North Lima, roughly ten miles from the train derailment, had her six chickens die days after the chemical fire started. Taylor Holzer, a registered foxkeeper who lives outside the evacuation perimeter, told WKBN all his foxes were ill and one had died.

Vinyl chloride, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylhexyl acrylate and isobutylene. Bad enough individually - without reviewing the MSDS for all of them, it's a safe bet that they make quite the toxic soup when combined. I understand that the "controlled release" may have included ignition of the vinyl chloride, which then created the gaseous hydrochloric acid and phosgene mentioned in the article. That second photo provides quite a perspective. Where's Greta when you need her?

Group Leader: come on people! We need some stories! Big stories! Something that takes the spotlight off this faltering administration. School shootings are routine, the chinese balloon story was a bust. We're not allowed to report the mass deaths from the Death Jab. Minion 7: how about a nice train derailment, with ensuing casualties? We haven't used that for ages. GL Great, do it, but not anywhere that good people live. Some blue collar neighborhood in an unimportant state. M7: on it! BTW, wasn't Phosgene one of the poison gasses used in WWI? And made illegal afterwards. Someone needs to pay for this kind on criminal negligence.

I would love to know who gave the go-ahead to ignite this batch of chemicals instead of pumping it into tanks and hauling them away. Normal people get fined for burning cardboard trash in their backyards but it's okay to blow up a wrecked train?

The consequences of this train sabotage are cascading and severe. People and animals are dying and getting sick. Pollution has spread in the air in the ground and in the water. FEMA will be called in to declare a disaster. Propel will be relocated and moved out. The toxicity will linger for who knows how long. All the land for miles will be declared a toxic health hazard and become a waste land. Polluted waters down stream will wreak havok on water supplies and wells. It’s going to get ugly. Reporters are kept away, police are arresting them. Meanwhile all we hear about is spy balloons and ufos. Don’t look here, look at the shiny objects in the sky.

Way too many dangerous chemicals with the letter "y" in them folks. I'm not a biologist, chemist or conspiracy theorist but this whole thing stinks of perfect bad timing. Which will of course be used to make the fake news cycle shift from the incompetence of the FJB regime. That's a tall order but the democrat's media butt sniffers will make it happen.

Recently we’ve heard arguments that the failure of the military to meet its recruitment goals is a product of recruitment policy. Politics are also held to play a supporting role. But these only address the surface issues needing adjustment. The real cause is more complicated and rooted in the last thirty years of constant international strife. The 17-24-year-old populace is the focus in recruiting. This is traditionally where new military personnel are found. So what have these people been bombarded with their whole lives? Constant combat, bloody house-to-house fighting against a foe who seeks death as a reward, detailed accounts of every death, never-ending rotations through

Vladimir Putin’s preferred mode of transportation these days is said to be a customized armored train because the Russian president is “scared” that his private plane could be shot out of a sky, according to a new report. Ilya Rozhdestvensky, a reporter with the anti-Kremlin investigative unit the Dossier Center, told CNN that since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Putin has mostly stopped using his presidential aircraft. Instead, he reportedly has travled in an armored train equipped with a special communication system. “The psychological reason of using this train is that he’s scared,” Rozhdestvensky told the outlet. “He’s scared that he can be tracked, that his plane can be tracked,

Biden’s team walked the press over to the South Court Auditorium, where the remarks were to be delivered, at approximately 1:50 p.m. When reporters entered the auditorium, White House staff approached every correspondent and pressed each of them to show an email containing a “pre-credential,”

The rock was 2ft in diameter and weighed 1,000lbs, NASA said before it broke into small pieces and scattered across the area.  No damage was reported, but terrified locals assumed it was an earthquake and shared stories on social media of their homes shaking with the impact. NASA said that anyone who thinks they have found a fragment must contact the Smithsonian. They reassured people that the space rocks posed little threat to the public.

On February 9, New Jersey Italian restaurant Nettie’s House of Spaghetti, despite having a name that makes it sound like a children’s restaurant, issued a statement across its social media accounts that beginning in early March, they would no longer allow children under 10 to dine at the restaurant. The announcement made headlines and points to the perennial debate over whether banning kids under a certain age from eating at restaurants is reasonable. This debate is, of course, not new. There will always be a steady stream of new children coming to restaurants with their parents, and some of those children will act in accordance with their developmental tendencies.

The environmental disaster taking place in Ohio from a Norfolk Southern derailed train should outrage both sides of the political aisle. After the smoke clears, investigations will take place and most likely will show that there is plenty of blame to be shared, including all levels of government and both political parties. But at the moment, the complete lack of any significant response by the Biden administration is appalling and begs the question why an administration that is hostile to the free market and supports extreme measures to fight climate change is missing in action?

That is now an annual requirement. The aim is to deliver “equitable outcomes” for all Americans, including underserved communities, through government policies, programs, and services.

The program would be funded by raising estate and inheritance taxes. It would result in a major redistribution of wealth to middle and lower-income Americans. It isn’t a civil rights cause, it isn’t a new form of free expression, it isn’t a natural societal evolution. It’s insanity. And facilitating it, as in the case of the supposed “medical professionals” increasingly pushing it on children, is evil. We’re seeing this in more and more vivid detail as the transgender craze — and it is a craze, make no mistake about that — broadens and touches more and more lives. It’s becoming harder and harder to sustain the myth that chemical castrations and hormone baths and disfiguring surgeries lead to normal lives.
