A 30-year-old councilwoman in the borough of Sayreville, New Jersey, was found shot to death in her car on Wednesday, according to authorities. County officials said police responded to reports of shots fired after 7 p.m. and discovered a woman in her vehicle who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene. The woman was identified as Eunice Dwumfour, a Republican councilwoman, the officials said. Sayreville Mayor Victoria Kilpatrick said she was "shocked and saddened" to learn of Dwumfour's death, saying she was "taken from us by a despicable criminal act." She and Dwumfour worked closely together on the council, she wrote.

Biden put out the call months ago for his people to go after the fascist MAGA GOP types, and one look at her photo makes it clear she's a whites supremacist. There was a flurry of responses to Biden immediately after that call to arms, this attack was just delayed a bit. But they got the job done that Biden asked them to do. More to come.

Wifey & I lived in northwest NJ for 23 years and never heard of a violent act. People did get upset when Halloween pranksters knocked over mailboxes, though. I'm not defending NJ #4, and I'm glad we left 20 years ago, but NJ doesn't have Chicago, Memphis Atlanta, St Louis, etc. Like many states, it has some terrible cities - all deep blue. Northwest NJ has always been red. Wish there were some details in the article. It's as if a UFO came down and killed her.

Re #5, the parts of NJ that I am familiar with are near NYC area. I have been repeatedly told, by people who I believe, that southern NJ has almost nothing in common with the northeastern part, and is a pleasant and rural area. That's certainly at odds with the parts that I had visited on business or traveling through years ago, but I don't doubt it. And now info that NW NJ is different, too. Good to know. But, due to their gun laws, most all of the NE is off limits for me these days. I remember some fine times in Vermont and New Hampshire as a kid and in the 70s. But they have changed a good bit, too.

A wealthy nephew moved from NYC to a more rural part of NJ about 15 years ago. And a couple of years ago, he moved to SC. He's VERY conservative. He discovered that NJ limited people to buying one gun per month, so he made it a policy to always buy a gun every month....just to irritate them. He got wealthy by pulling himself up from the very bottom all by himself. He had made a real mess of his life early on, but finally took stock of his failures, got an education, started at the bottom in the finance world in NYC and became extremely wealthy. And a really good person, too, lovely wife and kids. Another refugee from NYC and then NJ, landing in SC. He can do his business from anywhere by phone and computers.

She was in her second year as a councilwoman in Sayreville. Mother of a 12 year old from a relationship, lived in a nice section (Parlin) of Sayreville, supported her church in Newark. Active in the town GOP. She was either shot in her car or nearby, and tried to drive herself out of there before she succumbed. This wasn't random and I hope they get the person who they already know went to the nearby GSP. And give him or her a life sentence, as Old Sparky no longer works in NJ.

My son quit a high level fortune 500 corporate job, where he had lived in Spanish Harlem.....moved to Kearny NJ, opened a BBQ restaurant. Rented a house with a large yd and a pool for less than he paid for a small flat in NYC, bought a car for the 1st time in over a decade(the one he originally had when he moved to NY was broken into/vandalized so many times the ins company wouldn't cover it any more, was finally stolen and never replaced) After expanding the BBQ business to half a dozen stores, sold out and Moved to Nashville. Migrating to ever more conservative environs.

Trump, others deny Chinese spy balloons
flew across the U.S. during Trump administration

Democrats and their cohorts in the media are quickly coming to Joe Biden’s aid as critics say Biden didn’t handle the Chinese spy balloon incident well. The spy balloon flying across America can easily be thought of as a test of Biden’s inclination to use force against Chinese intrusion. At first, the Biden administration and the Pentagon remained silent about the appearance of the balloon. Then a local news organization in Montana reported on it as it hovered over Billings. The word quickly spread to news outlets across the country. When would Americans have known about the story of a Montana news organization that had not reported on it?

The Koch political machine, which fuels the most powerful donor network in conservative politics, is declaring itself as be part of the NeverTrump effort for 2024, aiming to deny former President Donald Trump a third nomination for the White House. The declaration, released in a recent memo to staffers and activists, never explicitly mentions Trump, but it’s abundantly clear from the tone in Americans for Prosperity CEO Emily Seidel’s message that the grassroots behemoth she leads has no plans of being a passive player in Republican politics when it comes to the White House. “Our country must move past the current political situation—we’ve got to turn the page

Four in 10 Americans say they've gotten worse off financially since Joe Biden became president, the most in ABC News/Washington Post polls dating back 37 years. Political fallout includes poor performance ratings for Biden and a tight hypothetical Biden/Trump rematch next year. Given disaffection with both leaders, a rerun of the 2020 presidential election is hardly enticing: Nearly six in 10 Democratic-aligned adults don't want to see Biden nominated again for the job, and half on the Republican side would rather not see Donald Trump as their party's nominee. If those were the choices and the election were today, the poll suggests it could be close: Among all adults, 48
What Did Joe Biden Know About China Spy

“What did the president know, and when did he know it?” That was the question asked of Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal of the 1970s. The presumption, of course, was that the 37th president knew more about the scandalous activities than he was letting on. And, of course, Nixon was ultimately forced out of office because of Watergate. Today, I’d like to ask the same question of Joe Biden about the China Spy Balloon-gate scandal. Of course, the matter of the Chinese spy balloon is lot more serious than the Watergate break-in because it potentially affects the safety and well-being of 335 million Americans.

China insisted the flyover was an accident involving a civilian aircraft and threatened repercussions. President Joe Biden issued the order but had wanted the balloon downed even earlier, on Wednesday. He was advised that the best time for the operation would be when it was over water, U.S. officials said. Military officials determined that bringing it down over land from an altitude of 60,000 feet would pose an undue risk to people on the ground. China responded

Washington - The Biden administration is moving forward with a plan to shoot down a large Chinese balloon suspected of conducting surveillance on the U.S. military, by bringing it down once it is above the Atlantic Ocean where the remnants could potentially be recovered, according to two U.S. officials. The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive operation, said President Joe Biden had given the go-ahead. In a brief remark Saturday in response to a reporter’s question about the balloon, Biden said: “We’re going to take care of it.” The balloon was spotted Saturday morning over the Carolinas as it approached the Atlantic coast. Philadelphia — The Democratic National Committee on Saturday officially dethroned Iowa and New Hampshire from the status they have enjoyed for decades leading off the presidential primary, ratifying president Joe Biden’s recommendation for the 2024 calendar. South Carolina will now kick things off for Democrats, with Michigan — and potentially Georgia — joining the early states in the biggest shakeup of the presidential primary in years, while Nevada will go second. New Hampshire could go on the same day as Nevada if its Republican legislators and governor change a state law. Georgia, too, will need cooperation from Republican officials to take advantage

Upon hearing that there’s at least one Chinese surveillance balloon drifting over the continental United States (as of this writing), and another reportedly over South America, you might picture a payload of advanced electronics snapping high-resolution photos and videos of strategic targets, and communication interception devices snooping on American government, military, and high-tech secrets. Balloons aren’t just for children’s birthday parties—in addition to being highly-efficient surveillance devices, they are also potentially extremely dangerous weapons of war.
