The Left Struggles To Shove Memphis Killing

On Monday, the Washington Post sent an update to its email subscribers with the subject line: “The police officers charged with the murder of Tyre Nichols are black. Does it matter?” The short answer is: Yes, but only to race hustlers on the left. Which is why the Post enlisted three reporters who spent nearly 1,400 words twisting themselves into pretzels to explain how black police officers beating a black man to death was further proof of “systemic racism.” Here’s how the Post puts it:

Of course the killing of Tyre Nichols was racist. We know it was racist because, in America today, EVERYTHING is racist. If Mr. Nichols had been struck dead by lightning in the middle of nowhere, it would still be racist. Get it?

Simple test. Ask yourselves what these selfless, honest guardians of the truth would have said if the five officers were white? The sheer dishonesty and hypocrisy is at its odious worst. These incidents fly against the Great Lie that America at it's heart is an oppressive society. founded on racism. And therefore needs to be broken and taken over by Leftist ideologues regardless of objections of a white majority.

Perhaps more research should be concentrated on the black culture itself as black on black crime is prevalent in all cities today. Just look at Chicago for one example. Nothing has changed with the BLM movement other than reports of leaders confiscating donated funds to live-large with lavish personal spending. Another outstanding example of black on black violence took place several years ago when the all black members of the Tallahassee Florida FAMU marching band beat their male majorette to death during their usual hazing ritual on their bus after participating in an event in Orlando. Previously a girl band member went to the hospital with a broken leg suffered during her hazing. These students were receiving free college educations and no whites were involved so what was the purpose of this black on black vicious ritual? I'm still wondering and CRT solves nothing when these blacks feel entitled to brutalize each other.

Five rogue cops act like animals and kill someone over a traffic stop. The cops and the victim happen to be Black. Liberals now see an opportunity to paint every police officer in the US as being like them. They also see an opportunity to assign innocence to any black person killed by cops regardless of the circumstances. None of this true but it doesn’t matter. It’s part of their strategy.

The media’s leftward bias has been obvious for decades even as “journalists” denied their alignment with the Democratic Party. No honest person took Chris Cillizza’s 2016 claim that “reporters don’t root for a side. Period” to be true. All we’ve ever asked for is an admission from the media that it worked for the Democrats. We’re a little closer to that today. Tuesday’s headline in the Daily Caller brought the light: “Major News Outlets Say They’re Ditching Objectivity In The Name Of ‘Diversity.’” The story beneath the headline tells us that, after interviewing more than 75 ”media leaders to gauge how the industry views the concept of ‘objectivity,’”

It’s one of the most cherished notions of American life that all of us should be treated equally by major public institutions, whether it’s the Big Media, social media or the law, regardless of our individual religion, political beliefs, or cultural background. But, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll suggests, a surprisingly large number of Americans no longer feel that ideal is true. Our January online poll taken from Jan. 4-6 of 1,356 adults asked, “Do you agree or disagree that people who hold similar political/religious/cultural ideas, beliefs, and values as you receive equal treatment in America.” We asked them to answer

Leaving Washington with classified documents must be a tradition for outgoing presidents and vice presidents. Sensitive government papers have now been found in the private homes and offices of Joe Biden, Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Maybe every president going back for decades has taken documents he shouldn’t have. But only one has a crooked son who could have easily accessed those documents and used them to enrich himself and his corrupt family. The public sure seems to believe that is the case. Six in 10 American voters are convinced it is likely that Biden’s son Hunter used information

As auditors and congressional investigators try to figure out just how much federal COVID relief went to fraudsters, they are missing the trillions of dollars in fraud committed by the federal government itself in a war that we had no chance of winning. Last week, the Government Accountability Office reported that fraudsters took in about $60 billion in unemployment checks. That’s on top of the tens of billions in fraudulent claims made through the Paycheck Protection Program, the tens of billions handed out through a Small Business Administration program, and on and on. This Wednesday, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability will hold a hearing

These days, it’s hard to keep up with the once-upon-a-time Golden State’s foolish policies. They come in such number and profusion, you can’t even track them all. That’s why the one-party state’s latest tax proposal is such an attention-getter: It would damage the state’s economy, perhaps beyond repair. The proposal is, as a matter of economics, foolish beyond belief. In brief, the Democrats who have taken over the state now propose a “wealth tax” on the richest Californians, who are already fleeing the increasingly socialist state in alarming numbers.

Washington, you have a problem, and elected officials should take note: Regardless of party affiliation, those who elected you no longer have faith in the idea that you actually represent them, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. It’s no surprise that many voters are turned off by the political class these days. As repeated polls show, voters from both parties agree that the results of recent years from Washington have been less than stellar. And the voters feel Washington is divorced from their everyday concerns. In the most recent online I&I/TIPP Poll, taken Jan. 4-6 from 1,107 registered voters across the country, we asked voters two questions about their elected officials in Washington.

In a data dump Friday, the Biden administration announced that more than a quarter million people crossed the border illegally in December – the highest ever recorded. The timing of this release was designed to bury the news, not that it mattered, since the mainstream media have ignored the growing border crisis with fierce determination. But that’s not the worst of it. Border deaths also reached all-time highs. That news is so bad, the “most transparent administration in history” tried to keep it hidden altogether, coughing it up only in response to a Freedom of Information Act request. When that data did come out
