Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) indicated during a Jan. 12 press conference that he wants to release all of the security footage from the U.S. Capitol from Jan. 6, 2021. During the last Congress, many crucial questions about the Capitol breach were left unanswered and unaddressed by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 committee. Republican lawmakers, who have long expressed a keen interest in conducting their own investigations into the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, intend to move forward now that the GOP holds congressional subpoena power by virtue of their House majority. They need to release the video and show who allowed who into the Capitol. Also who attacked who. If the video is what we expect, there will be lots of questions as to why they were imprisoned in the first place or why they haven’t been released. Release all the video on a server and let the media dissect.

Hope they don't waver on a full release even if the DOJ and/or Capitol Police want to sue to prevent. The public has a right to know, and if they file a suit, they are admitting they have things to hide much like how they handled the Russia scheme (it was embarrassing to them). McCarthy needs to publicly state the chain of command with regards to the Capitol Police, so that people can't hide from the fact that it was up to Nancy Pelosi's office (who said they didn't like the optics of the National Guard on J6) to ensure the CP had the necessary force to protect members of Congress. The funny thing, every member of Congress knows this but many don't want to say it for some reason. Then, get the letter of denial from the DC mayor refusing any additional resources into the Congressional Record, and distributed to every major newspaper and TV station so they can't claim ignorance.

I join our Congressman Matt Gaetz to thank McCarthy for his willingness to release the security videos from January 6th. It is a good start. Now, it will be a court fight to get it done so I fully expect him to move quickly and initiate the necessary steps with the the fully corrupted Capitol Police.

It's now been three years since COVID hit. At the start of the pandemic, "experts" shouted: "Stay home!" "Close schools!" "Wash your hands!" "Disinfect countertops!" But it has refused to release the evidence to the media. Attorneys for the coalition said in the motion filed Wednesday that “the public and press have standing to assert their rights of access to court records and proceedings.”

A new and unconstitutional, Orwellian gag-order law took effect on Jan. 1. Titled “Physicians and surgeons: unprofessional conduct,” the law permits the Medical Board of California to discipline doctors who “disseminate” misinformation. It’s an obvious and direct attack on the First Amendment—freedom of speech—as well as the Fifth Amendment, which says an individual cannot be compelled by the government to provide incriminating information about himself, and the Fourteenth Amendment’s equal protection under the laws. This law attempts to mandate a new and undefined standard known as “contemporary scientific consensus” and illegally suppress differing professional opinions counter to this consensus on COVID-19.

The news that the federal government is seriously considering a ban on the sale of gas stoves caught many normal Americans off guard. It shouldn’t have. Nor should they believe it when a regulator says they won’t actually ever ban the thing. In recent decades, regulators have wormed their way into every corner of our lives – banning some products, ruining others, and pricing others out of reach of working families – all allegedly for our benefit. The only thing that’s surprising is that they hadn’t targeted gas stoves earlier. This week, the Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. said that gas appliances
