Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) “terrible record” may have led to Senate Republicans’ poor midterm election results in November.
Hawley served as one of the roughly ten Senate Republicans to oppose McConnell’s bid to continue serving as the Senate minority leader.
Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow asked Hawley how McConnell maintains power despite the growing number of Senate Republicans opposed to his leadership and if he anticipates any backlash from his opposition to McConnell.

Post Turtle McConnell stabbed Patriots in the back to preserve the RINO Cabal that keeps him in power. If we had taken Senate, Patriots would shave outnumbered Turtle and he would be Senate majority leader. It's always about the 'POST'!

Mitch "MultiUseless" McConnell has his fetch dogs in Senator John Thune(R-SD) and Senator John Barrasso(R-WY). They aim to please MultiUseless all the time. There's a growing number of RINO'S in addition to the RINO Senators Hall of Fame - Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt "Pierre Delecto" Romney. Until MultiUseless is removed from his current power position, the Republican Party will falter in many attempts to get America back on the right road.

If the republic survives, it is because of Hawley, Ron Johnson, Paul, Cruz and those who march with them.

Yep, it sure was Mitch that destroyed the republicans in 2022. You can also throw in Ronna. She is a horrible mistake. She must go. Kentucky, it is time for you to vote Mitch out of office. What he did was unforgivable!!!

I am a huge Josh Hawley fan. He is confident and actually has the integrity to be his own man. It is going to take individuals like this guy who will fight the good fight if we are going to have any chance of turning the mess Biden has created around. I also respect his take on his responsibility to make his own decisions and not just bow down to the establishment frauds like McConnell regardless of the consequences. I am sure McConnell believes Hawley is no threat and he can take care of him as easily as he flicks a piece of lint off his $8k suit, the arrogant old reprobate. Men like Josh Hawley are the future of the Republican Party. May their ilk increase.

#6 i read that Ronna may no longer have a lock on RNC leader with Harmeet coming on strong. Harmeet understands the corrupt elections mess having adjudicated in Cali and AZ, is bright, well-spoken and not tied to the Eastern Establishment.

The GOP has ceased to be a serious political party. They like being in the minority. The republicans in the House will join them in 2024.

I dumped the Republican Party years ago. I saw the light thanks to GW, Paul Ryan, McTurtle, Romney, Cheney, Tomey, Burr, Tillis, Graham etc etc. the list is long but you all catch my drift. And to think I casted a vote for some of the above mentioned.

I call the tall, skinny, obsequious, old guys who always stand behind Mitch, the Undertakers. They look like characters out of a Dickens' novel.

We all know what led to the poor midterm election results. And it occurred in the dark of night.

Put John Cornyn in that group of Mitch enablers. He votes better than Murkowski, but he is close to Mitch.

Hey, Senator...how much dough did McConnell's PAC and allies donate to your '18 election campaign? I see over $100k from the Senatorial Campaign Fund on your report. Gonna give it back? Don't ever call for "party unity" again.

The poor midterm results were the direct result of two things: democrat vote harvesting and McConnell's battle against any republican candidate who would have been a nuisance to his leadership if elected. The democrats ran a ballot harvesting campaign that could have been beaten if the republican establishment had not completely undercut any candidate McConnell considered a potential nuisance if elected. The combination of the two stifled a guaranteed red wave.

After the 1.7 Trillion dollar betrayal, McConnell has zero national support from Republican voters. The man is a pariah.

The fact that "roughly ten" senators voted against McConnell just shows how corrupt, worthless and spineless senate republicans are. The only thing they can be trusted to do is betray us.

The real Republican Senate heroes are the ones who speak out NOT just about generalities of corruption in the Uniparty, don’t stick to going on safe slobbering shows like Hannity and Laura but those who NAME the NAMES. The only Senators I see speaking up about McTraitor specifically are Josh Hawley and Ron Johnson. It is great that others vote right when push comes to shove but they have a foot firmly with the Bush-Rove globalists too. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
If that doesn’t describe the Senate Republican leadership I don’t know what does!
God bless you Senator Josh Hawley. We seem to be able to count on you. You put yourself out there and refuse to be a risk averse jellyfish only interested in packing out your campaign war chest, hawking a self-serving book or imagining yourself POTUS. I will support you and pray for you!

#7, Josh Hawley sold U.S. out on the Omnibus bill-- it should have been delayed until the Republican House takes office in a few days.
The threat of a 'government shutdown" means that the essential governmental duties STILL take place, and the government employees end up with a free vacation which will be paid back to them upon the return of funding.
The mere FACT that this spending bill originated in the SENATE should have disqualified it, but like NoBamaCare, it came from the wrong House of Congress.
