Joe Biden sees himself as the only Democrat who can 'slay' Donald Trump in the 2024 election, it has been claimed. The 80 year-old president regularly reminds people he is the only person who has beaten Trump, and he remains confident that he's the man to repeat that feat in 2024, The New York Times reported. Biden previously billed himself as a single term transitional president who'd bridge the gap between the chaos of the Trump years, and the emergence of a younger Democrat successor. But he's since announced a plan to run again in 2024, despite already being the oldest president in US history. 'Why would he get out now?'

CNN This Moring co-host Don Lemon travelled over to CBS and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday to promote the show and insist that “I don’t think we were liberal” when speaking about the pre-Chris Licht era.
Colbert asked about changes to the network under Licht, “The word on the street is you guys aren't allowed to be liberal anymore? Is that the case?” (Video) Lemon laughably argued that, “I don't think we ever were liberal.” After a somewhat surprised Colbert replied with a simple “What?,” Lemon doubled down, “Yes, I don't think we ever were liberal.”

Oakland, California, is set to give adult residents vouchers to donate to candidates for local office every other year, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.
Nearly 74% of the city’s voters approved Measure W, mandating that the city biannually send four $25 dollar vouchers to residents 18 years of age and older for donations to mayoral, City Council or school board candidates, the outlet reported. The program will be paid for with city general funds and include legal permanent residents who lack U.S. citizenship.
Seattle enacted a similar program in 2017, and University of Washington research showed a rise in candidates for local office

The Army-Navy football game, the first of which was played on Nov. 29, 1890, at West Point, is one of the most historic rivalries in sports. Spoiler: Army’s uniforms for this year’s game are awesome.
