The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an emergency appeal from former President Trump seeking to shield his tax returns from House Democrats, capping a multiyear legal battle and paving the way for the release of his tax returns.
The order — which had no noted dissents — was in response to an appeal Trump filed with the Supreme Court late last month after a lower court declined to reverse its ruling mandating that he turn over his tax records to the House Ways and Means Committee.
Chief Justice John Roberts had temporarily blocked their release in a Nov. 1 order while the court considered the matter.

Great news! Trump has nothing to hide. I believe he wants this. Now Trump will use this against Obama, Biden, Clinton (her and him), Pelosi, et al
They do have something to hide. Trump wins again.

Yep! What's good for the Goose, is good for the Gander! Open that Door and expect the House Ways and whatever to demand the Taxes from BIDEN first, then how about having some fun and go for Pelosi's next! These Democrats are nuts if they think the Republicans are not going to jump all over this unexpected Gift!

If the Rebublicans i the House had any brains and courage, they would subpoena the liberal Supreme Joke's Just-Uses' tax returns. Make them live by the laws they pass.

This action by the federal judiciary confirms my belief that the Income Tax must be abolished on many grounds, one of which being that it is an unjustifiable search by the government into a person's private affairs. I don't believe it is the government's business, nor anyone else's how much a person earns, keeps, spends, invests, or pays in taxes. If the government wants to charge someone with a crime or a violation, it is the governm, ent's responsibility to prove it. It's not the citizen's responsibility to disprove it. If the Income Tax allows a political party to wage war on someone based on their tax returns, then the Income Tax must go.

Yeah! Let's look at all politicians. Especially the ones with non-profits/foundations/etc.
Is it money laundering?
Many years ago, my alma mater received 5G from some Clinton funding to applaud the college for some initiative that the college did. (Vote buying in WV didn't work.)

Getting his tax returns is legal but not lawful. The Supreme Court are useful tools of the left. Clueless and gutless.

SO MUCH for being Secure in your Papers...
Seems our SCOTUS folks can't read, let me help.
--------------
U.S. Constitution - Fourth Amendment
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
I don't see a thing about Political Hacks getting someone else's private papers etc.........

Chances are when Trump’s tax returns finally come into possession of the House of Representatives that body of Congress will be run by the Republicans and not the Democrats, since a legal precedent has now been set, and turnabout is “FairPlay” there is nothing to keep the Congressional Republicans from demanding the release to them of Biden’s, Obama’s and Clinton’s tax returns.

When the Highest court decides to set a really bad precedent, they go all the way don't they. Trump is a private citizen now Justices, why are you opening that door?
