With Republicans set to take over the House of Representatives and Democrats slated for leadership elections at the end of the month, outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's will tell people her plans on Thursday.
Pelosi, 82, announced through a spokesperson that she'll 'address her future plans' later today with speculation already having begun as to whether she'll remain the leader of the Democrats.
Rumors have suggested that Pelosi would step down from Congress entirely, potentially leaving her extremely left-leaning district in San Francisco to her daughter Christine.

It would be interesting to review Nancy;s daughter's stock portfolio and transactions.
Halfabrain Fetterman campaigned on congressional stock purchases, but didn't say much about family purchases.
Reports elsewhere, by the way, say Halfabrain is as rehabbed as he will be, which is typical of stroke victims.
On occasion, I have conducted arbitration hearings where the grievant's attorney requests that I allow the grievant's wife to sit with the grievant in the witness chair, to read documents, 'because he forgot to bring his glasses.' I always granted such a request, tempted to say, ;So he remembered to bring his wife, but not his glasses?; (The actual reason in each case was that the grievant was illiterate.)
What is my point? Will Halfabrain demand that his illegal immigrant wife be seated with him in the Senate chambers, as a reasonable accommodation for his disability? And, if so, will it be granted? (Dementia Jo let the cat out of the bag last week, when he made a reference to Gisele as lady of the Senate. In other words, the fix is in. Pennsylvanians will be represented in the Senate by a doddering old man who is a baby killing Catholic, and a half a brain rookie's wife/
Only in America....

And just where in the constitution does it say that congresspeople can just hand their seat to a relative?

There’s really no reason to “announce” anything unless it’s out of the ordinary, which to my mind means she’s retiring. Her massive ego will get a rest. Now she’ll have to boss other people around and Washington will get some relief.

Thank you, #1. A good story is a still good story on the 2nd telling. And inspired to verify, I enjoyed rereading a number of your previous posts. Well said, again.

My, aren't we full of our self.
By the way, it is not your seat to give to anyone. It belongs to the voters.

How silly of her voters to think they were electing their representative all these years.
Nancy is so entitled that she is gifting her power to her daughter.

What's this crap with handing over the seat to her daughter, the voters should have a voice in this matter. Watch the same damn thing will happen with Fetterman, his bi, illegal wife will grab his seat, and she is for sure a (b) witch to deal with. The Republicans better wise up and do something about this practice, same goes for states and governorships.

Relax people, the daughter will have to run, and be elected to fill the seat. Of course, the brain dead in San Fran will overwhelmingly elect her to honor dear old Nancy.

Good. riddance, Nanie. So, let's see if Nanie makes her announcement with Paul at her side so we can have a look at his head. The guy has been invisible since he and DePape were found wrestling on the floor wearing only their underwear.

Hand her seat to her daughter. This tells you everything you need to know about our hereditary government. How long until the Devine Right is reinstated as we move backwards towards medieval rule? We already have the equivalent of twenty-first century Medicis.

This is the first I knew of Draculina's daughter. Is she just as pretty as her ma? The ''search engines'' sugar coated her life just a tad, I expect.

Isn't this interesting...more new members of congress installed by their relatives....where in the constitution does it allow for appointing new members by outgoing relatives....this just might make San Fran voters finally take control of their district...and Pennsylvanians are gonna regret the day they voted for letterman...because an immigrant..his wife... from Brazil will represent them....

When her highness "hands the seat" to her daughter, does the seniority go with it? Seniority is the real underlying problem in our congress. No congressman should have more power than others simply because he has bribed, coerced, and cheated the brain-dead voters in his district/state into giving him the same office over and over again.

does anyone believe she would be "stepping down" had the dims retained the House majority?
I laughed when I hear news reports that the attack on her husband has influenced her decision. If she had a relationship with him she wouldn't live 3000 miles away most of the year.

Draculina's daughter is a "respected" filmmaker of documentaries including one recently aired on HBO when, first time ever as far as I know, she was invited to the Capitol for the January 6, 2021 electoral vote count along with her camera. How convenient but she did record her mother saying that if Trump comes to the Capitol, he is arrested for trespassing and she would punch him in the face.

It is ridiculous to get worked up over what the DM produces. Pelosi won’t be “handing over” anything to her daughter. Even the article mentions that Christine would have to run for Pelosi’s sea and others will be running.
As for Jeffries, the snake, he too will surely have opposition in his quest for upward mobility.
Keep them in the minority and they can futz around all they want to...
