Elon Musk’s *Other* Company: Tesla Bursts

An electric car sold by Elon Musk’s Tesla burst into flames on a Pennsylvania highway on Tuesday after a large piece of debris became lodged underneath it. The car fire ended up reducing the electric vehicle to a pile of scrap metal and ash. Luckily the car’s owners and their dog escaped unscathed. Pennsylvania state police said the Tesla was traveling west on the highway when it caught fire, according to a report by WTAJ, which added that one lane ended up being restricted for some time as crews put out the fire.

Sounds like more shielding is needed to protect all those batteries. More weight, of course, would mean shorter distances between charges. To be fair, this occasionally happens to IC vehicles but you have to be unlucky. Many years ago a minister and his family were driving on a highway when something bounced up beneath the vehicle and severed the fuel line. Wife and 3 daughters were all burned to death. The specific I remember was the police mentioning that the open mouths on all the bodies meant they died screaming. Ugh.

that's nothing compared to jaguar, which would burst into flames for no apparent reason. the owners would laugh it off and toast themselves w/ another martini. the given reason was often the electrics in the jag; failure of a 6$ switch could blow up a $200,000 luxury vehicle. tellingly, the designer of the jag's electrical system was aptly named 'the prince of darkness'.

I had a conversation yesterday with a neighbor who has bought into the climate scam. I asked her where we were going to get all the cobalt and lithium required for “clean” energy. Her reply was “mining the seas”. It’s impossible to have a reasoned discussion with people like her because they are totally convinced of their righteous position.

Lithium batteries are inherently unstable, and as long as they are used there will be random explosions and nearly inextinguishable fires.

The establishment media has shifted its position at least four times on the significance of Hunter Biden’s laptop story after more than two years since Breitbart News’s Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris broke the story at the New York Post. On Thursday, Politico’s Heidi Przybyla and Jordan Carney claimed: “no evidence has publicly emerged that his [Joe Biden] decisions were affected by his son’s business.” That President Joe Biden’s judgment has been uninfected by his family business with foreign actors is a different position than the media took just months and years prior.

Breitbart Texas observed the migrants crossing the river several miles north of Eagle Pass just after a rain spell in 40-degree temperatures. Most of the migrants were single adult males and females. Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday on PBS’s “Firing Line” that the Department of Justice seems to “have the basis for legitimately indicting” former President Donald Trump. Partial transcript as follows: BARR: If a former president commits a crime, you know, especially a serious crime, they should be indicted for it. If the Department of Justice can show that these were indeed very sensitive documents, which I think they probably were, and also show that the president consciously was involved in misleading the department, deceiving the government, and playing games after he had received the subpoena for the documents, those are serious charges. That’s serious.

The warmongers are obsessed with destroying Russia. To achieve it, they are determined to fight to the last Ukrainian. In eight months, Congress has wasted $69 billion of American taxpayer money to fund their proxy war. That’s about $8 billion more than Russia’s entire annual military budget. And to the delight of the American arms industry, there is no end in sight. Biden is soon expected to request another $50 billion.  CORRECTION*
