Former President Donald Trump, aiming to become only the second commander-in-chief ever elected to two nonconsecutive terms, announced Tuesday night that he will seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
“In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States,” Trump said.

This is one bright spot in a dismal mid term election cycle. The democrats will crank up the investigation machine to try and get him. They'll be using the "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime" approach to try and stop Trump. MAGA

I am so glad to hear this. Donald Trump is the only person in this country that has the experience and brass cajones to take on the Demon-Rats in 2024, and then undo so much of the damage that the will have done in the previous 4 years!!!!
As far as I am concerned, Trump can make all the mean Tweets, and call his opponents all the names he wants, if he can save our republic!!!!!!

I’ll keep my powder dry. I’m with #6. First cheap shots at his challengers, including Pence and Pompeo, and I’m done.
The next question is how long before the first indictment, whether Federal or NY state. I predict not long. The UNIPARTY needs to nip this in the bud.

Lest we forget, the HATE against TRUMP is widespread in the Demonrat Socialist Marxist party.
MILLIONS of voters DID NOT vote for the Vegetable, the voted AGAINST TRUMP, and they will do so again.
DeSantis would be unwise to "wait his turn". Those who did LOST BIG.

BTW, Dole, McCain and Romney will never be in Trump's league. If Trump can't win, nobody can. Those same D's who hate Trump will hate DeSantis or Pompeo or Chisty or anyone else who runs. It will be about his accomplishments vs the Vegetable's.
Hope he keeps looking through the windshield and not the rear-view window (thanks, Gov H).

How very sad it is to see longtime Ldotters criticizing, threatening to abandon support for President Trump, and/or setting parameters for what he is permitted say or not say, to do or not do; for censoring his freedom of speech which often emanates from the irrational, unrelenting, vicious assaults on him with a ripple effect on his family from his adversaries and now from heretofore seemingly appreciative members of this dignified, conservative salon.

For people of faith, righteous anger is understood. It is obvious that President Trump and his family have been subjected to and endured what most others would not be able to withstand. Until walking in someone else’s shoes, it is not possible to know the magnitude of pain and suffering that may evoke outbursts that may be considered egotistical, petty, or shameful. Judge not. There is only One Judge.
