The world’s richest man wants the West to more seriously consider the risk of nuclear conflict and World War III breaking out over Ukraine, as Russia’s hold over Crimea—illegally annexed by Russia in 2014—is thrown into question.
“If Russia is faced with the choice of losing Crimea or using battlefield nukes, they will choose the latter,” Elon Musk wrote in a tweet on Monday.
He continued: “We’ve already sanctioned/cutoff Russia in every possible way, so what more do they have left to lose? If we nuke Russia back, they will nuke us and then we have WW3.”

Our pResident has not made any case for why Ukraine’s admission into nato is worth risking nuclear war. His only argument is “putin bad.” What would we do if china made an alliance with the mexican cartels and was considering putting nukes in mexico as part of a mutual defense pact? What did we do when Russia and cuba made such a pact?
Bidet needs to explain what the point of all this is. And why the bidet family was/is looting Ukraine and for how much. “Cmon man” won’t cut it.

Elon, ok. But on the condition that Putie and the russkies foot the entire bill for re-building Ukraine and pay restitution to the families whose family members were killed by Putie's army.

Trying to put myself in the Ukrainians’ shoes, I wonder how I would feel if Russia took over part of Alaska and I had to choose between ceding it or risking a war with battlefield nukes.

Here’s another reason. Russia’s primary naval base is in Crimea. If the US were content to permit Crimea to remain neutral, this conflict would never have occurred. Given Crimea’s strategic importance to Russia, can you really blame them?

Here is Zekensky’s top priority in the middle of a “war” with Russia.
NEW YORK — A collection of wartime speeches by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, featuring an introduction written by the Ukrainian president, will be published Dec. 6.

#3 - were Alaska occupied by majority ethnic Russians longing to belong to their mother country, then tough deliberations would have to happen. The thing that would perhaps make it worth it is the foothold for military expansion on the North American continent, and that's a big reason.
Unfortunately, 99% of Americans knew nothing about Ukraine before the invasion. The media blacked out the issues that led to the 2014 coup against the Ukrainian government supported by the U.S. State Department and CIA. We have been fed so many lies, that finding truth is nearly impossible. But I do know this: Joe Biden flexed on the Ukrainians to save his family business. And that's enough for me to question anything that is being done to support the wanna-be Billy BA president, Zylennsky. It all stinks, and I'm sick of pouring U.S. play money into that bottomless pit.

Anyone, of any substance, should be worried about WWIII.

Elon Musk makes good points. We have to choose which hills we are willing to die on. That doesn't mean being weak. It means being smart about our actions. I really don't want a nuclear war. I also don't want bully nations to think they can push others around -- and by "bully nations" I do include the United States when it has acted as a bully.

Musk doesn't support Russia. There was a peace treaty already agreed to by both sides back in April, but the Biteme administration objected to it.

In the meantime, is anyone in the Biden Administration able to even come up with a coherent reason or reasons for our continued support for Ukraine? How long, how much, the end game, etc?

Various missteps have led to the current crisis, including insisting Ukraine forfeit its nuclear arms, insistence on joining NATO, and last but not least, the American election of a dithering, weak fool.

Well I agree with Musk. The Ukrainians are too angry to think straight and they never want to give up. I wouldn't presume to scold them for that but not willing to pay the price for their anger either. Crimea has changed hands a lot of times. And btw I think Putin is trying. You saw he is drafting the loudest pro-war voice to the front lines. To me that is MEGA smart. They can change their tune or they can go fight the war they stirred up. It is the smartest antiwar move anybody has made, sending Girkin to the front lines. I hope he sends Margarita Simonya too.
