Pence: My last days with Trump

Original Article

Former VP Mike Pence has a memoir coming out next week titled “So Help Me God.” Today the Wall Street Journal published a excerpt from it dealing with the events leading up to and following January 6. Pence outlines some of the pressure he was under to attempt to change the outcome of the election by refusing to certify the vote from a handful of states. On Dec. 23, my family boarded Air Force Two to spend Christmas with friends. As we flew across America, President Trump retweeted an obscure article titled “Operation Pence Card.” It alluded to the theory that if all else failed, I could alter the outcome

Mike Iscariot Pence write a book that is probably filled with lies and a significant hit job on Trump. Buy it and put it in the little house in the backyard with a moon cut in the door, or use it to line your bird cage, or tear it into strips to light your bbq coals. I will certainly not be buying it let alone reading it.

What a lying piece of garbage!!!! He was never pressured to "change the outcome of the election by refusing to certify the vote from a handful of states". He was simply asked to postpone the certification for a short time to allow the evidence of the election theft to be investigated. It wouldn't have stopped anything. But he was a useless backstabbing DC sewer creature, and he clearly still is!!!!! I would never vote for a Demon-Rat, but I will also never vote for a backstabbing RINO like Pence either!!!!! I guess I would have to sit that election out!!!

Oh here we go again with the unhinged nuthouse theorists. Pence had no constitutional authority to do anything other than what he did. When a member of the house and the senate from the same state object to the electors, the Veep sends that state’s delegation to settle the matter. That’s what Pence did. He had no other authority and there is no constitutional theory to the contrary.

Mike Pence is the last person you want anywhere near you. He has sold his soul to the cabal that is trying destroy this country. He is a sanctimonious fraud. Cashing in this way says everything you need to know about Pence’s lack of character. I always thought there was something off about him but just could not put my finger on it. Now it is clear. He is a self-serving little man willing to betray the guy who trusted him, picked him out of the political graveyard and gave him the opportunity of a lifetime, to serve as VPOTUS. From the excerpt in the article it is clear that Pence is painting himself as the hero while casting President Trump as the desperate and weak villain refusing to accept reality. If I remember correctly the states in question were requesting that they have more time to enable them to make sure their numbers were correct because they had serious doubts. At no time was Pence urged to overturn anything. Looking back on those few days it was obvious that there was a large contingent in the Republican Party that wanted Trump gone. Instead of asking for time to look into the various examples of fraud that were coming out, these individuals wanted to put a lid on it as soon as possible. They had no curiosity and no time for the many examples of fraud that were coming to light. There were questions that the American people wanted answered but the coalition of anti-Trumpers were already calling anyone questioning the many disturbing videos election deniers, sore losers, and liars. The fix was truly in And Pence was a part of it. Reasonable people were asking reasonable questions but were shut down, called names and ignored. The “big lie” was created by the media and democrat party and the rest is history.

Excerpts I read have Pence saying that he was fully onboard with contesting the elector slates from half a dozen states, had plenty of Reps lined up to file the formal complaints(190+), Senators to 2nd the motions(4+)...sending each states slates to the house and senate separately one at a time for discussion, debate, voting whether to accept, reject, accept alternate slates of electors...or return them to the various state legislatures. It would have taken several more days to go through the process and allow for several more courts and legislatures time to make rulings...many of those courts and legislature HAVE since ruled that processes in the 2020 election WERE unlawful, and cannot ever be repeated. Was fully onboard with continuing that plan when the building had been cleared...it was OTHER house members who went wobbly and abandoned that course. In those excerpts he isn't "attacking Trump" but primarily praising him, he does say that Eastmans input was rejected as invalid/unworkable but he agreed with the longer process that would accomplish the same thing. Making time for the 20 states lawsuits to be heard, appealed as needed...the several states who had already requested their elector slates to be returned to get them back. He had already entertained the complaint motion from the 1st state and adjourned the session to their respective chambers...

Control of the Senate still hung in the balance on Friday, forcing Senate Republicans to briefly put aside their intraparty blame game as they go all-in on winning Georgia’s Senate runoff. The Senate majority could be decided in the coming days if Democrats defend the seats they hold in both Arizona and Nevada, where votes continue to be counted. But if the GOP picks up just one of those seats, Senate control will be determined by a Dec. 6 runoff election in the Peach State. GOP operatives continued to express optimism about the party’s chances of picking up a seat in Nevada

Former President Donald Trump has sued the House select committee investigating January 6, 2021, as a way to challenge its subpoena for documents and his testimony, according to filings in a federal court in Florida. Trump is challenging both the legitimacy of the committee -- which multiple courts have upheld -- and is claiming he should be immune from testimony about the time he was president. Trump's lawyers say they've communicated with the House over the past week and a half as the subpoena deadlines neared, offering to consider answering written questions while expressing "concerns and objections"

It should be clear by this time that popularity has nothing to do with electability. Trump filled rally after rally in state after state with countless, full-house, full-stadium crowds, and such numbers do not lie. There really was a red wave in the midterms, but it was macro-engineered to a trickle, as should have been expected. The scam of “malfunctioning” voting machines, the shortage of paper ballots, the tsunami of mail-in and late ballots, the temporary closing and slow-downs of polling stations, and so on would have been sufficient to determine an electoral result. 2020 was an early run for 2022,
