The Sunshine State is preparing for a different sort of blue wave. Continuing years of scorching population growth, Florida is bracing for a fresh batch of disgruntled citizens fed up with spiraling crime and high taxes to move in from Democratic strongholds. (Snip) Another participant, an Upper East Side parent of two, said the city is becoming “unlivable” for families — and that Hochul’s election set off frenzied searches on property website Zillow among her circle of friends. “The crime, the mandates, the general insanity,” she said. “I think people are just looking at their lives and thinking there has to be a better place to raise their children.”

The Democrats will be hard at work shipping more illegals to Florida to offset Republican growth. It's a good thing DeSantis is hard at work stopping that sort of thing. God help Florida should the Democrats ever capture the Governor's mansion.

Having lived in south Florida for 41 years: sadly, the immense increase of vehicle traffic in Florida along both coasts south of Orlando is diminishing the general lifestyle in those areas. Even with excellent planning by the applicable government agencies, the increasing population may eventually result in problems regarding adequate supply of potable water in these areas. The worst-case could be "water wars" between the east coast and the west coast.

Amazon unveiled its new ‘Sparrow’ sorting robot that could soon replace some human workers in its warehouses. The robot is designed to identify and sort specific products along Amazon’s fulfillment line, a task that previously could only be done by humans. “Sparrow is the first robotic system in our warehouses that can detect, select, and handle individual products in our inventory,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement alongside the product’s debut during Amazon’s Delivering The Future conference near Boston on Thursday. Warehouse workers fear the robots will make them obsolete, with one telling Insider that Sparrow “will take my job.”(Snip) the company plans to roll it nationwide as soon as next year.
