Democrats' strategy of spending millions to boost pro-Trump candidates in Republican primaries appeared to pay off Tuesday as the party ended the night with a clean sweep of the races in which it chose to meddle. All six of the Republican candidates who seemingly benefited from the meddling in their primary victories fell to their Democratic opponents. Those races include a number of key House and gubernatorial races, as well as the New Hampshire Senate race. Democrats spent more than $40 million boosting those six GOP candidates, all of whom expressed support for former President Donald Trump as a leader of the Republican Party or were backed by him.

All Americans who care about the integrity of the US Constitution and its protection of individual liberties can breath a sigh of relief that Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin won his reelection bid. Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, he was the only Senator to question—and ultimately challenge—the federal government’s catastrophic policy response.
In 2020 he was chairman Senate Homeland Security Committee, and he used his position to hold three hearings (on May 6, November 19, and December 8) about the early treatment of COVID-19 and how it was being suppressed by our federal health agencies, and censored by mainstream media and social media platforms such as YouTube and Twitter.

The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) has launched its Communism: A History of Repression, Violence and Victims curriculum featuring 10 sections and 33 chapters of material to help school districts teach the basic theory and ideology behind communism. Europe Is Transitioning - To Coal!

In Germany, they are tearing down a wind farm to make room for the expansion of an open pit lignite coal mine. Dismantling of wind turbines has already begun. Lignite is brown coal. It has been mined at the mine in question for well over a hundred years.
RWE, the German company that owns the mine has also announced that it is returning lignite-fired coal units that were previously on standby to service. Those plants came back online this month. (Snip) The demand for coal will reach a record high in 2022. The International Energy Agency has reported that coal use in Europe is up by seven percent in 2022.

Construction of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago has been temporarily suspended following the discovery of a noose at the worksite.
The Lakeside Alliance, a group of Black-owned construction companies building the center, said they are investigating to identify those responsible for what the Obama Foundation described as an “act of hate”.
The noose was discovered on Thursday morning on the premises of the center, located in Jackson Park, and the police were notified.
The Chicago Police Department (CPD) confirmed that they are aware of the matter and investigating.

Former President Trump on Friday took aim at Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) amid rumors that the businessman could run for president in 2024.
“I Endorsed him, did a very big Trump Rally for him telephonically, got MAGA to Vote for him – or he couldn’t have come close to winning,” wrote Trump on his Truth Social account. Trump has been hinting at announcing another bid for the White House as early as next week.

President Trump can see and hear the same things everyone else can see and hear, including the coordinated media and GOPe effort to diminish him and the MAGA movement within the Republican club.
The Democrats and professional Republican class both want to see the populist movement destroyed for the same reason Mitch McConnell wanted the Tea Party destroyed in 2010. The assembly of the united middle-class and blue-collar base inside the Republican Party, essentially the broad MAGA movement, represents a Main Street threat to Wall Street control of the GOPe.

Wrong. Not a clean sweep. Kari Lake has a very good chance of winning once all the ballots are counted. In my state of Maryland, Trump's support of Dan Cox was not well thought out, but I don't think anyone could have won against the charismatic, smooth, brown-skinned, well-educated son of Jamaican immigrants, Wes Moore. The silver lining of these failed Trumpian candidates is that they brought new people into their campaigns, giving them knowledge and skills, friendships and networks that will last for future elections.
