Thanks to Insane Ranked-Choice Voting,
Sarah Palin Has Election Taken from Her Again

Original Article

Thanks to the GOP voting in ranked-choice voting, Sarah Palin has election taken from her again. Sarah Palin deserves a special medal of honor for her attempts to make America a great country. The former governor of Alaska offered to help the helpless John McCain in his run for President and she was hammered by the media like no politician up to that point in history. After helping McCain increase his popularity with the public, McCain threw her under the bus when he lost.

A really stupid way to elect a candidate, BUT an obviously predictable loss for the GOP since neither Palin nor Begich would withdraw. The GOP got over 50% of the vote, a vote percentage that either one would have received running ALONE.

The lesson, find ways to fix these types of election processes, or use your campaign $$ to educate voters they can simply vote for the 1 person they want, and leave the rest alone in this instance.

Unfortunately for the Country and for the State of Alaska, Sarah’s loss was self-inflicted. And entirely predictable. Thanks to Alaska's insidious ranked choice voting (thank you Murkowski & Company), combined with the inflated egos of both Sarah and of the other equally qualified Republican candidate, their combined return of 51% of the votes has been overtaken by the sole democrat opponent with 47% of the votes. Either one of them could have bowed out for the good of the country when it became obvious that they would be splitting the vote.

McCain was a dishonourable man. The best part and most productive part of his presidential run was Sarah Palin but he blamed her for his failure a credible candidate. He effectively handed, without opposition, the presidency over to Obama. Sarah was great, McCain was worse than useless, yet he trashed her in an attempt to save face for letting the American people down.

Old Dem trick, pay a "Republican" and fund his campaign when he has NO CHANCE, except to draw enough vote from the better candidate so the Dem....or rotten piece of garbage Murky....wins. They used this in Kansas a couple of cycles ago....suddenly one of the best known plumbers in the eastern part of the state, who has had radio jingles with his name in them for 25 or 30 years "suddenly" decides to run as "a conservative", and gets well funded.....drew about 10% of the stupid votes to him, so the REAL conservative lost the governor's race. I will bet money that this plumber was secretly set up by the Dems to do it. And they did the same in Alaska.

It suffices to say that Election Day didn't go as planned for some polling places that experienced and are still experiencing ballot-counting issues. Despite the varying election-related difficulties, multiple jurisdictions share one foreseen commonality. There's a common thread connecting five counties spread across several states that were in disarray on Election Day: federal "monitors." On the eve of the elections, the Biden administration's Department of Justice announced Monday it would be dispatching such monitors to as many as 64 jurisdictions in almost half of U.S. states on Election Day to oversee federal election law "compliance."
