The GOP as we know it is 'dead' after Democrats clinched victory in the Senate with a critical win in Nevada, Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley said on Saturday night.
Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto defeated Republican challenger Adam Laxalt, who had the backing of both Donald Trump and Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell, after mail-in ballots from reliably blue Clark County and also from Washoe County allowed her to narrowly overtake her rival.
Sources close to Laxalt's campaign told DailyMail.com on Friday that the GOP ex-Nevada attorney general was 'bracing for a loss' -

Josh, allow me to enlighten you. The pubbies do not wish to "build something new". They are already fat and happy, and very comfortable. As for the dims, Josh, they fully intend to "build something new" - the new Amerika.

The party is far from Grand. It is a rotting corpse.
I changed my voting affiliation years ago to independent.

The elections are corrupted, #1. Until that is overcome, we will win nothing.
See article in Must Reads above.
But yes — the corrupt establishment GOP had got to go.

Look, the voters have spoken. They want more crime, inflation, wars, every state an open border state (oops, you actually have to have a border to be called a border state) and our kids being groomed. This is what the majority wants. Having a senile old fool and an bumbling stroke victim in charge of running our country is the “new normal.” What could go wrong?

Most likely we are heading towards a corrupt dictatorship (is that redundant?).
Take a cold hard look at our representative form of government and understand where it has taken us. It requires the voting populace to be intelligent, informed, and honest. Instead, we got dumbed down and corrupt. A new party will not fix this.

No, Republicans need to insist on being involved in COUNTING VOTES FROM LEGITMATE VOTERS.

Fix the headline. Democrats didn't beat the odds to keep control of the Senate. Democrats cheated to keep control!

The democrats didn't "beat the odds", they stole another election while the republican party sat back and watched....again. Maybe it's time for the MAGA party.

The GOP has been dead since it betrayed the TEA party, now the stench of the rotting carcass is unbearable. We need a MAGA party. The GOP is not interested in representing us.

I don't care a bit about the Republican Party. They can terminate it, rebuild it, whatever.
I only care about conservatives, no matter what party. The party system only exists to reduce our choices and make it easier to control us, ignore us and tax us to death to push an agenda few want.

In most functioning democracies any political party that has lost so spectacularly as the GOP this time around would replace completely its leadership. In an other sign that we are no longer a functioning democracy I expect that the leadership of the House, the Senate and the RNC remains in place.

An old saying is "Practice makes perfect." After decades of practice, Democrats have come close to perfecting voter fraud. It's been perfected and (except for Dropbox Mules) has become very sophisticated as it includes use of pre-rigged tabulation computers that include software that make after-the-fact proof of such fraud almost impossible unless (1) honest Republicans - or honest Democrat whistleblower(s) - acquire complete physical possession of such computers WITHIN MINUTES after their last use in the respective election, or (2) there is an honest, complete audit of all ballots.

Better to fix the GOP. I remember the Reform Party among other third party efforts, and basically it just guarantees power to the Democrats immediately, and long term, the third parties face the same issues the first two parties did.

The GOP Elites got what they wanted. They maintained minority status. McConnell couldn't be happier with the results of his blocks of potential conservative backbiters in the senate.

I vote for one of the following names: Patriot Party, Freedom Party, MAGA Party, Liberty Party, Gadsden Party, Tea Party (Why give up on a good thing), Justice Party.
Bar any known RINOs from joining. Party Platform would be to follow the Bill of Rights, and rebuild political America from the ground up. Demand ALL lawyers and judges take tests on the Bill of Rights and disbar them if they step out of line. Demand Civics as a required class to graduate High School and to establish a citizen's comprehension of the Right to Vote. Education would include Reading and Writing, English, Math, Geography, American History, with minimum standards to be promoted in grades.

Republicans always roll over & accept anything & everything the republicans throw at them. What do you expect from a party when the senate minority leader says the republican candidates are not qualified & pull his Big $$ out? In less than 2 years we have 10 million Illegals, open borders, high inflation, high gas prices, grocery prices tripled, war in Ukraine, billions to climate change, billions lost in the pull out from Afghanistan, billions of unaccounted $$$$ to Ukraine...and they blame Trump..for what????

I agree. A new GOP must learn how to game the election system the same way Democrats do. A new GOP would put out to pasture the doddering old Mitch, Liz, and the others. No to Kevin. Get nasty or continue to lose.

The Devil knew America's weakest link was the Democrats. So for decades, they were kneaded, seasoned, and stewed to perfection by the Devil and transformed into what they are today. Now it's the GOP and their transformation is lightning fast and almost treasonous. If the GOP is indeed DEAD, the nail in the coffin will be over 10 million illegal aliens crossing the border and voting for Democrats. America will no longer be God's country. We the People took the forbidden Apple, and its consequence is in the Bible.

Until somebody can get the Democrats and their lapdog media to admit the rig, the GOP is effectively dead. The infrastructure for fraud includes functions to flip votes electronically and to generate bogus votes and print the completed ballots. As long as the MSM hide this, the USA will not have another honest election. This even makes me wonder whether ANY of the elections in my 60-ish years has been honest.
End Times, baby.

Here's what we need to 're-build": a secure and accurate election system. What we have now is not worthy of a third world dictatorship.
