President Trump’s handpicked and endorsed candidates largely underperformed or outright lost their midterm contests on Tuesday, deflating the former president’s status as a party kingmaker and likely 2024 GOP presidential nominee.
Trump’s influence was felt across the board: his hand-picked Senate candidates, political novices who secured their respective nominations largely on the strength of his endorsement, drastically underperformed expectations. House Republican challengers and incumbents who embraced his election denialism — and gubernatorial candidates who did the same — faced similar struggles.

Voting integrity systems have been put in place in Florida after the state became a national laughingstock in the wake of the 2000 presidential election, and “hanging chad” became a symbol of questionable vote totals. Florida permits any registered voter to request an absentee ballot, but the request has to be received by the office of the local Supervisor of Elections by the close of business 10 days before the election. Only the voter or an immediate family member can make the request. There are no mass mailings of vote-by-mail ballots.
Armed with more data, there will be refinements to this explanation of Florida’s unique red wave status in the coming days. But it is a phenomenon that Republicans must closely examine before 2024.

Quite right, #1.
The Uniparty and their RINO media organs (e.g., NR), are busy publishing the prepared talking points.
Remember: they hate us. They really really hate us.

I’m not happy with Trump myself, but I’ll be damned if I will read ANYTHING the odious National Review has to say about ANYTHING!

President Trump needs to stop talking about a stolen election, as if there's something that can be done to rectify it at this point.
What he should have been doing is pushing common sense ideas of how to ensure voting procedures limit the prospects of an election being compromised.
He should temper that Tuesday decision, and stay behind the scenes working to improve things as his chosen candidates did not come through in a meaningful way.
Also, he's still the lightening rod the Democrats will use as long as they can.

Show me a Trump hater, and I will show you a person heavily invested in big government or a person that has been brainwashed by media and education.

Political novices is not a bad thing. NR sucks on the other hand. NR is in the same boat as we are in; we had some wins and some losses; we're just on different sides. Agreed. They really do hate us.

Considering how much the National Review hates Trump and his supporters I guess I’m not surprised the magazine celebrates how well the Democrats performed. Still, it can’t be denied that Trump’s picks, especially for the Senate, fizzed out.
Since victory is the goal of any political party, Trump’s failure is bound to diminish his claim to be the head of the party. Contrast his poor performance with the outstanding results from Florida and Ron DeSantis is riding high.

How many RINO’s did better in similar circumstances (e.g. running against an incumbent)? Murkowski? O’Dea in Colorado?

The establishment types are gleeful today. They hated the idea of a red wave. They are also all FRAUD deniers (or flat out complicit in the fraud).

Trump was a great President but he carries too much baggage. I hope he is not our nominee in 24.

what i see is that Bolduc and O"Dea lost, those being winnable seats where the Republican ostentatiously didstanced himself from Trump. Yes, Trump endorsed them - that is called team behavior. So Trump remains popular and those senatorial candidates are out. I wish they had won. But anyway, Trump is a team player and they really were not. And are gone.

Poster 13, Trumps baggage is the hatred of him by the left. I can’t think of any other person who has been persecuted to the degree Trump has. Never ending lawsuits and demonization by the MSM almost continuously. He won In 2016 with the array of media, big tech, and all the progressive left against him. Like George Patton he is a winner. He also did more good for this country than any President in the century. What abandon someone that gave so much to the people and all he got in return has been a relentless attempt to destroy him because he was a threat to the status quo. Those of us who appreciate the sacrifice he made for this country would never turn our backs on him. Name a single President whose policies helped virtually every American the way his did.

Trump-endorsed candidates had 174 wins (published in Gateway Pundit at 11:16 a.m. on 11/9/22, day after the midterm election) and 9 losses at that time.
Of course, the Fake News Media will NOT report this.
