Mainline Protestant church adds 'nonbinary/genderqueer'
to official membership statistics

A mainline Protestant denomination recently announced that it will be adding a "nonbinary/genderqueer" category to its annual report regarding church demographics. The Office of General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA), which is the largest Presbyterian denomination in the U.S., said Tuesday that it is making a series of changes regarding how it records the number of congregations and membership statistics in the denomination, according to a press release.

Comments:

Are they the first to do this? Some of the other “usual suspects” must be kicking themselves for not thinking of it themselves.

The only justification to create such a category is to out the perverts who should be cast out of the church.

I was baptized in the Presbyterian Church but quit in 1968 when they merged with PCUSA. PCUSA has gone full Marxist now. The northern Presbyterian churches were suffering declining attendance and going broke. They just wanted the money from the still viable southern Presbyterian Churches. They now push socialism and obsessive woke politics. Sad, really. I’ll never go back.

Once a Protestant; the habit sets in. From reinventing Christianity WITHOUT AUTHORITY to now accepting and preaching the defiance of Science and the natural biological and phsyiological order. Funny how all the traditional "liberal Portestant sects" with their Faustian agreement with the Devil and the world for the sake of "being loved by the world" are slowly but surely splitting into all sorts of fragaments and disappearing up their own fundamental orifices. Other Protestant sects still attracting large congregations by sticking to and preaching their "reformed" biblical concepts are on the other hand reviled and condemned as troglodytic and bigotted FUNDAMENTALISTS, and no better than the murderous Muslims.

Never met Lucianne, but G-d bless her and comfort her family. She w/b missed. Our church left PCUSA about 10 years ago - always about the ransom money. We paid about $3 million to leave with our campus - that was in a trust created in 1950s for this very event. After fighting the liberals for about 20 years, we moved on and created ECO - Evangelical Covenant Order - with many other large Presby churches. Half of our congregation left about 40 years ago when we merged and created PCUSA - the 2 Presbyterian orders had been separated since the Civil War. Like most things that old, the tolerant and progressive ones were the folks that started to admit 'there were different paths to heaven'. When you hear THAT, you know you are in the wrong place.....

The PCUSA has always been far to the Left of the PCA. I belong to a PCA Church that is decidedly conservative and would split rather than accept these deviancies. Talk about cutting their own throats. They may attract more deviants but they cannot any longer call themselves Christians. God is not ambiguous about sexual deviancy. But hey, they can still get their tax breaks, right?

Both the Presbyterians and the Methodists have had splits over liberal theology. I believe Southern Baptists are the most biblically based denomination, but they too have woke rot at the top. Fortunately, these "leaders" have no control over any existing church. But when you control the seminaries, you control the future. So I expect to see a split down the road.

Much like the inflation crisis created by misguided economic policies, violent crime is running rampant nationwide. Here in Philadelphia, over 400 homicides and 1,000 carjackings have already been reported thus far in 2022 – and those figures are not unique among major cities. Thanks to progressive leaders who refuse to enforce the law, violent criminals are roaming free and American families are left to feel unsafe. Just last week, Philadelphia’s “Conviction Integrity Unit” earned the praise of John Fetterman. This misguided program, implemented by Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, allowed a convicted murderer to be back on the street, and last week he was arrested again for involvement in

Mayra Flores, who flipped a long-held Democratic House seat along the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this year, said she was refused admission by the CHC because of her party affiliation. "As the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, I thought the Hispanic Caucus would be open to working together," said Flores. "This denial once again proves a bias towards conservative Latinas that don’t fit their narrative or ideology." The CHC is the largest working group within Congress for lawmakers of Hispanic and Latino descent.
