Democrats: The Only Way To Save Democracy
Is One-Party Rule

Original Article

At this point, it would save everyone time if Democrats could simply point to a policy agenda item that isn’t going to save democracy — if such a thing exists. If Republicans vote, they are killing democracy. If they don’t vote, they are killing democracy. The only way to “save democracy,” writes The Washington Post’s Max Boot, is to empower one-party rule — a position that probably sounds counterintuitive to anyone with a middle-school education. “Now you need to vote to literally save democracy again,” contends President Joe Biden, or we will lose our “fundamental rights and freedoms like the right to choose, the right to privacy, the right to vote

every lynching and every gang rape is small d "democracy" in action...simple majority vote, at that particular time and place... regardless of anyone else's rights, traditions, property, personal safety, or preferences. Regardless of the Law, the Constitution. What the Dems and Media are talking about is Big D "Democrat-cy" with all power in their hands, one place, one time, that effects everybody, everywhere....forever. They do NOT have a 'majority' even now, without the Socialists agreeing to caucus with them. Only ONE of which(Sanders) had any national elected office until very recently...giving them a 50/50 senate, and 30 socialists in the house...giving them a bare 9 seat advantage there. In order to achieve that the Dems gave over nearly ALL of their party agenda to those same socialists. Until very recently NO POLITICIAN would have attempted much of this stuff...they couldn't get elected/reelected in 90% of districts. America is NOT a socialist country, never has been, never will be.

I have a better idea. How about punishing people and organizations who try to influence elections with false narratives. Like the Russia Hoax. Create meaningful consequences for politicians who collude with foreign and domestic operatives to smear a candidate in order rig the outcome of the election. Stop pretending harvested ballots, ballots that are marked exactly alike, ballots that are not in signed envelopes, or in some other way deviate from the local requirements are just "irregularities." Do not allow voting machines that have "proprietary" technology that cannot be understood or operated without "help" from the manufacturer. Anyone can come up with a list of "irregularities" that are actually "evidence" of improper actions on the part of election officials. Prosecute folks who cheat, including non-citizens who vote in presidential elections. This is not rocket science.

We are rapidly heading toward a one-party democracy, unfortunately for the dems...that it is the GOP that will be leading the way. I have been saying for months, to anybody who will listen... the dems will be the first to race to a camera to complain. They will say it is unfair that we have become a one-party system. It will be unfair because the compromise demanded of two parties engaged in healthy debate of the issues is missing. They will demand a more equal representation by the appointing of opposition party members. Of course...there would be no debate, if the dems were the party in control.

"the Democratic Party descended into the politics of hystericism." The problem of trying to distract the electorate by making everything a crisis is that, eventually, history will render a judgement on the "crisis". Was it real? Was it as bad as they said? Who was really responsible, the originally accused or the people trying to sell the crisis? The doom of the dems is rendered by recent polls on the credibility of the media, the dems propaganda arm. Gallup says the credibility of the media, TV and print is sitting in the mid to low teens. The answers to the above questions are, "The crisis was NOT real.", "The danger was extremely hyped.", "While Conservatives were blamed, it was dem/progressive slimy hands that caused any problems and faked things up.". The cycle clearly repeats for numerous crises. Even for "crises" with unclear resolutions, the electorate has begun to realize that the dems are the party of lies and failure. That they cannot be trusted. That they are incompetent. In sum, that the dem brand is rotten. This results in the credibility crisis, a real one, that the desperate dems face. The default response to the latest dem hysteria is "The dems are at it again. They are lying. There is no crisis. Given time, the dems will be found to be the cause of any malfeasance.". The dems and their media are no longer believable. Add that to the economic and social damage that the dems have done to Americans since Jan 2022 AND the reality that the electorate KNOWS that the dems are to blame and the dems have become toxic waste. Now it is up to Republicans to prove that they are NOT toxic waste.

Sure, just like the other countries with one party rule, it is called COMMUNISM or a DICTATORSHIP. Think Russia, China, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, and others like them. If you choose one party, Democrat rule, we will quickly become a "Socialist Paradise" like Venezuela and Cuba while the government starts to lock us down to make us more like China and North Korea. Guess Biden wants us all to listen to our old Dear Leader and follow his dictates blindly like the rest of the Democrats and liberals do.

Some strange things have been happening here in the Pacific Northwest. Conservatives ridiculed President Joe Biden’s "despicable" Wednesday speech in which he warned midterm voters of the threats to democracy ahead of election day. During his last address before the balance of power would be decided in Washington D.C., Biden pleaded with Americans to vote against Republicans, accusing them of being election deniers and MAGA extremists who have encouraged political violence, promoted former President Donald Trump’s "Big Lie" about the 2020 election and engaged in voter intimidation. Rather than focusing the on main issues voters are most concerned about, namely, rampant inflation and other economic woes, Biden’s speech pointed the finger at his political opponents.

It is tempting to ascribe President Biden’s incessant lies to cognitive decline and the ethos of his lifelong profession. Politicians dissemble without shame – which, ironically, is why they constantly invoke their own honor and allegiance to the truth. Still, Biden’s latest string of whoppers – that gas prices were sky high and the economy was in the tank when he took office, that he convinced the Congress to pass student loan relief, that he’s a deficit hawk who has secured the border, that his son, Beau, died in Iraq – are so obviously false that it’s hard to believe even a politician in his right mind would make such claims.

President Joe Biden has accused oil companies of “war profiteering” and is threatening to impose a windfall tax if they fail to boost domestic production — and improve the Democrats’ fortunes in the 2022 midterms. It is ugly political theater. Demanding private entities act on behalf of the party or face punishment from the state, as the president might say, is semi-fascisty behavior. Other than appealing to the anger and frustrations of economic illiterates, windfall taxes (a tax on allegedly excessive, or unfairly obtained, profits) make zero sense. They neither bring down the price of energy nor increase supply. All windfall taxes do is disincentivize oil producers

Memories are shaky things. Maybe you remember a family trip to the beach or learning to swim as a child. But could you name the exact date, or even the year, these events happened? Without the help of a daily diary, it’s nothing more than guesswork. The same problem applies to cultural memories and history. And the further back in time you go, the more difficult it is to know when (or if) something actually happened. The Iron Age Levant, which occurred 1200-500 B.C., is one example of a historical period of particularly murky chronology. It’s a time when many of the cultural histories of the Near East, North Africa and

Musk’s greatest undertaking as the new “Chief Twit” involves deploying new business models that enhance corporate value, but his most visible challenge is changing the culture of this large organization without interrupting its business. That’s a notoriously difficult task. It’s a task at which President Trump failed. Trump often complained about the politicization and corruption of federal agencies – comprised largely of his own executive branch employees – but he had zero perceptible impact on the culture of the federal bureaucracy. Democracy is under threat — the wrong candidates could win more votes than their opponents in hotly contested free and fair elections. That’s the worry of progressives insisting “Democracy is on the ballot” in the midterms. This trope, repeated endlessly on the center-left, is offered as a reason voters of conscience should cast aside their other concerns and vote Democrat up and down the ballot. If this argument seems a touch self-serving — indeed functionally indistinguishable from run-of-the-mill partisan salesmanship — it’s because it is. As it happens, there is nothing in the actual behavior of Democrats to suggest that they take their own rhetoric seriously

Biden, who moved into a 10,000-square-foot former DuPont family mansion in 1974 — one year after joining the Senate — told the tale during a New Mexico event focused on his plans to forgive up to $20,000 in student debt per borrower.
