Biden mocked for claiming extra cost of

Conservatives on Twitter blasted President Biden for touting the fact that his administration is looking get rid of the "junk fees" that make roomier airline seats more expensive and thus "unfair" to "people of color." During a Wednesday speech on combating inflation and lowering costs for families, Biden expressed his administration’s commitment to eliminating "junk fees," which he claimed make the lives of Americans, particularly those of low-income families and people of color, harder.

Comments:

The comment is odd enough. But “Junk Fees”? Seriously? Word of caution. Never use that term around young people.

Air fare is very expensive these days. "People of color" must have a lot of money if they're flying commercial. I'm white, on a fixed income, eat cheap food, can't afford to heat the house and I can't afford to fly on ANY airline. I've never blamed "people of color" for me being poor. I blame MY poor life choices.

Just another Biden vote buying scheme. If it were up to Biden, people of color would only have to pay the lowest possible coach fare to the airlines to be assigned first class airline seats for equity purposes. After all, as I am sure you remember, back during the days of slavery the airlines were one of the biggest discriminators against Black slaves in the old South, so those airlines must pay essential reparations to people of color.

On a flight from DFW to LAX, I had the good fortune to sit up front next to Ving Rhames, a first-rate actor who happens to be black. A few months later, I had the equally good fortune to sit next to Herschel Walker on a flight from DCA to DFW. I usually mind my own business and never try to chat up a celebrity I may be sitting by; besides, everyone who came through the first class section on their way farther back into the cabin, felt the need to stop and introduce themselves or shake hands with the two popular black men. Given their natural friendliness, once we hit cruising altitude, they started exchanging pleasantries with me. Both flights, painfully routine due to the nature of my work and frequency of travel, were made a heck of a lot shorter by the gracious and interesting 'men of color' who happened to pay the extra fee and/or expended their own accumulated frequent flyer miles to sit up front. Biden is either a racist, who thinks all blacks are poor and ignorant, unable to obtain either a picture ID or earn an above average salary - or he plays one on TV.

Much like the inflation crisis created by misguided economic policies, violent crime is running rampant nationwide. Here in Philadelphia, over 400 homicides and 1,000 carjackings have already been reported thus far in 2022 – and those figures are not unique among major cities. Thanks to progressive leaders who refuse to enforce the law, violent criminals are roaming free and American families are left to feel unsafe. Just last week, Philadelphia’s “Conviction Integrity Unit” earned the praise of John Fetterman. This misguided program, implemented by Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, allowed a convicted murderer to be back on the street, and last week he was arrested again for involvement in

Democrats who run the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) have blocked a freshman Latina Republican lawmaker from joining the group. Mayra Flores, who flipped a long-held Democratic House seat along the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this year, said she was refused admission by the CHC because of her party affiliation. "As the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, I thought the Hispanic Caucus would be open to working together," said Flores. "This denial once again proves a bias towards conservative Latinas that don’t fit their narrative or ideology." The CHC is the largest working group within Congress for lawmakers of Hispanic and Latino descent.

Democrats are privately "panicking" over Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman's debate performance Tuesday night and expressing regret over his decision to debate Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz, according to NBC. The Democrat's lingering health problems due to a stroke he suffered in May resulted in a debate performance that some said was "painful to watch." Some Democrats felt Fetterman hadn't been transparent about the degree of his speaking difficulties and criticized his campaign for agreeing to the one and only debate. "[F]ellow Democrats are second-guessing his decision to appear on stage five months after a stroke — and some question whether he should have remained on the ballot at all,"

Our two parties have both changed, and that explains why one will win, and one lose in the midterm elections. The old Democrats have faded away after being overwhelmed by radicals and socialists. Once considered too wacky and socialist to be taken seriously, Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., the performance-art "squad," the radicals of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and her hard progressive wing are today's Democratic Party kingpins. The alienating radicals of Antifa and Black Lives Matter often serve as the new party's shock troops on the streets

None of the proposals would force immediate changes inside the states’ prisons, though they could lead to legal challenges related to how they use prison labor, a lasting imprint of slavery’s legacy on the entire United States.

Tuesday night’s debates were an unmitigated disaster for Democrats across the board. In Michigan, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer resorted to misrepresenting her COVID record when pressed ever so slightly on the issue of school closures. Over in New York, Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul floundered when confronted about her state’s rising crime rates. And in Pennsylvania, Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman, who suffered a stroke earlier this year, struggled to put together a coherent thought. Each of these candidates held comfortable leads over their Republican opponents until very recently.
