During a speech in Vail, Colorado, this week declaring the Camp Hale Continental Divide a national monument, President Biden falsely claimed his son, Beau, who lost a battle with brain cancer, died in Iraq.
Biden made the comments when speaking about how the Army’s 10th Mountain Division trained at Camp Hale in the 1940s and acquired skills that helped them fight the Nazis.
"American soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division scaled that 1800-foot cliff, at night, caught the Germans by surprise, captured key positions, and broke through the Germans' defensive line at a pivotal point in the war," the president said before segueing into remarks about his son.

Brandon uses his sons service to compensate for his cowardly draft dodging. While others like myself were sent to Vietnam, Hunter’s dad used asthma to get a deferment while at the same time bragging about playing football at the University of Delaware

I'm so sick of that senile old coot moaning about the sainted Beau dying. You'd think he was the only person who ever lost a son, and for the record, we're talking about a son who died at 46 and whose widow wasted no time getting involved with his brother, the corrupt libertine Hunter, the bagman for the Biden family.
There's something seriously twisted about the Biden family - two addict children (Ashlee and Hunter); Hunter going on coke binges and taking videos himself cavorting with prostitutes and smoking crack; Joe pawing little girls, sniffing their hair; Joe pawing the wives of political appointees; Joe swimming nude in front of women SS agents in spite of being asked not to; Joe showering with his daughter Ashlee, and so on. Any one of these things would be unusual in a normal American family, but all of them???? Then you get the lesser outrages of the Biden family - Joe's plagairism, his serial exaggerations and lying, Hunter's "paintings" selling for six figures to unnamed buyers. I'm outraged that the MSM acts like they're just any normal American family when they're anything but.

His son died 6 years after serving less than a year in Iraq as a JAG officer. Biden claims his son died of brain cancer because his “ hootch” was near a camp burn pit. No medical correlation has been found linking burning trash and brain cancer.
Another Biden lie.

Can you believe it...The President of the United States is insane. There's no two ways about it. How the Rats and the useless media can continue to cover for him is far beyond me. Maybe a nuclear war will open their eyes? Hell, I doubt even that.

It's hard to thin of a sleazier, scummy Biden lie than this one, but it's near the top.

Beau , as a JAG OFF, likely would never have been awarded a Bronze Star were it not for who his father is, any more than Hunter would have been awarded nice little high paying but do nothing positions by people who Joe could exert political largess for.
I've yet to see a description of what act of heroism 'earned' Beau a Bronze Star. Or maybe he got it the same way John Kerry got his.... Awarded it to himself, and rubber stamped by other REMFs at the Pentagon.

#8, there are rwo kinds of Bronze Star. A plain bronze star is awarded for good competent service.
A bronze star for bravery has a V for valor on it.
I would remind you that Dollar Bill Clinton slected alittle Navy Admiral to be chairman, joint chiefs. He was accused of wearing the bronze star inappropriately - that he did not deserve the V for valor.
He was so distressed about the allegations that he committed suicide.
And somewhat Ironically, the Navy, after his death, determined that he had, indeed, earned the right to wear the V for valor.
His accuser, an Army Lt. Col. retiree, wore the Ranger tab, but had not earned it. (He claimed that his serving with the Rangers for a couple of weeks in Viet Nam made him eligible to wear the Ranger tab. It did not. So he stopped wearing the Ranger tab.)
How's that for irony?

Oops! Correction needed!
David Boorda was chief of naval operations, which made him a member of the joint chiefs, but not chairman.
His accuser, about Boorda wearing the unearned V for valor, was David Hackworth, retired Army colonel.

As a Delaware National Guard lawyer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps in Iraq, chances are that Biden’s son was assigned to a major Army headquarters where all sorts of high ranking and General Officers operated. No so-called burn pit would be allowed to burn anywhere near such high headquarters. It is unfortunate that Beau Biden died over six years after he was deployed to Iraq. Regardless of what the “Big Guy” Biden has been saying while falsely claiming that his son lost his life in Iraq, there is no evidence that “burn pits” there had anything to do with Biden’s son dying over six years after he returned from Iraq. Biden kind of admitted that yesterday when he said that he could not prove that his son’s early death had anything to do with his son’s deployment to Iraq.
For some reason, by continuously bringing up his dead son, “Big Guy” Biden seems to hold some personal guilt for his son’s demise, maybe he recommended to his son, to effectively “punch his ticket” by serving a deployment in Iraq as experience to claim in a future political career in Delaware or in DC, who knows? But always remember, above all, “Big Guy” Biden is a 101% political animal.
Posters above have brought up Biden’s son being awarded the Bronze Star medal for service in Iraq, there is nothing out of the ordinary with that, as in the modern era, as just about all commissioned officers deployed to operational areas who served satisfactorily are awarded the Bronze Star Medal. The Bronze Star medal is awarded in two degrees, the first, the regular Bronze Star medal can be and is awarded for non-combat service and it looks like that’s why Biden’s son’s award was conferred, and the second degree the award is called the Bronze Star with “V” for valor, that is to be awarded to service members, both officers and enlisted soldiers, for demonstrated valor during armed combat operations. I spent the entire year 1968 on the ground in Vietnam, and during that time I cannot ever remember meeting a military lawyer assigned to the Judge Advocate Generals Corps, and looking back that was probably a good thing.
