Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney reacted to the closure of two Wawa convenience stores struggling with crime by denying that the move is a “bad omen.” Wawa, which has locations in multiple states along the East Coast, announced on Thursday that the company would close two locations in Center City, the main business district in Philadelphia and home to City Hall. Both stores had been contracting private security services due to an increase in thefts. “Despite reducing hours and investing in additional operational measures, continued safety and security challenges

My police officers' name for convenience stores is "stop and robs", sad to say. They are convenient for buying a few things, or for a violent criminal to rob.

Alas, the mayor doesn't enjoy his job because he's constantly worrying about what will happen next. My advice? If he wants to enjoy his job then DO the job. If he's unwilling to stand up against the woke mob, then he should leave the job.Why should anyone stress about a job he doesn't want to (or can't) do?

Only 33% of Americans would vote to reelect President Biden if the 2024 election were held today — and 54% would cast their ballot for another candidate, according to a Fox News poll released Sunday. The 33% who would vote for Biden — 21% definitely and 12% probably — mark a drop of 3 percentage points since January, while the percentage who would opt for someone else fell from 60% to 54% in that period, the survey found. The poll also shows that while 71% of Democrats would vote to reelect the president, 19% would not, along with 91% of Republicans and 54% of independents.

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Sunday that President Biden does not currently intend to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the G20 summit next month in Indonesia, after the Saudi Arabia-led OPEC+ group of oil-producing nations decided to cut oil production. "He has no plans to meet with the crown prince at the G20 summit," Sullivan said on CNN. "He is focused, however, on making sure that through every engagement that he has across the board, he’s looking out for, not just the U.S., but for our allies as well." Sullivan spoke briefly about the White House’s vows to "re-evaluate" the U.S. relationship with Saudi Arabia

In 1992 Bill Clinton won the presidency by telling Democrats to highlight pocketbook issues in the campaign. “It’s the economy, stupid,” became a catchphrase that brought Clinton and the Democrats victory. Today, Democrats might alter that catchphrase slightly when trying to attract Laino voters; “It’s the socialism, stupid” would explain to all but the most rabid leftist that there’s a good reason why Democrats are bleeding Latino support. “They don’t like the socialists,” Hank Sheinkopf, veteran Democratic political consultant and president of Sheinkopf Communications, told Fox News Digital about the Latino community.

This seems to be the weekend for Democratic gaffes from Joe Biden and John Fetterman (although to be fair that seems to be most weekends). Add now: Jill Biden. Joe Biden is a very poor speaker, and that was the case before he truly began to deteriorate. It’s why he was never taken seriously and one of the reasons I think Barack Obama reportedly said never to underestimate his ability to “f***” things up. He used to be known for gaffes before the Democrats had to remake him to try to win in 2020.

Politics is fun, isn’t it? You can play with the truth all you want, and, as long as you’re a member of the right party, you can throw all the crap you want against a wall just to see what sticks. That’s why when Joe Biden deadpanned that prices would rise if Republicans were elected, no one laughed — out loud, at least. “Here’s the bottom line. So please hear this.
