President Biden erroneously said that his son, Beau, "lost his life in Iraq" during a speech in Colorado on Wednesday. "I say this as a father of a man and won the Bronze Star, the conspicuous service medal, and lost his life in Iraq," Biden said. Beau died of brain cancer in 2015.  Biden made the speech on Wednesday near Vail, Colorado, where he designated Camp Hale as a national monument.  Biden said in a 2019 speech that he believes Beau's "exposure to burn pits" in Iraq "in my view, I can’t prove it yet, he came back with stage four glioblastoma.  CORRECTION*

We can’t survive much longer as a nation with this level of incompetence in the White House. The nation and much of the free world (what’s left of it), are in a stall and soon be in a flat spin. We need competent leadership NOW!

Biden has no idea what is going on. He sits and daydreams and then takes it for truth. He is pitiful, but he is also dangerous to America.

The article goes on to say: Biden said in a 2019 speech that he believes Beau's "exposure to burn pits" in Iraq "in my view, I can’t prove it yet, he came back with stage four glioblastoma. Eighteen months he lived, knowing he was going to die." Fox News Digital has reached out to the White House for clarification on Biden's comment. On glioblastoma, an agressive cancer: Glioblastoma cells have more genetic abnormalities than the cells of other types of astrocytoma brain cancer. As a result, researchers believe that several different genetic mutations are involved in the development of these cancers. These genetic mutations can be caused by: Inherited DNA defects Cumulative effects of exposure to chemicals and other carcinogens High-dose exposure to ionizing radiation Additional triggers that have yet to be identified Many different studies are looking into potential genetic, environmental and occupational causes of glioblastoma, although the exact process by which healthy cells become cancerous is not yet completely understood. Researchers do know that genetic mutations can cause a cell to break away from its normal growth and death cycle; one abnormal cell can produce additional copies of itself that can eventually accumulate into a tumor. Glioblastoma cells do not die when they are supposed to; as a result, the tumor can continue to produce new cells and grow into surrounding tissues. Glioblastomas can even produce their own blood vessels to support their rapid growth. https://moffitt.org/cancers/glioblastoma/diagnosis/causes/

Beau was a lawyer, assigned to the Iraq Green Zone - the safest place in the world. If he had a whiff of the burn, it took place in the Officer's Club. ( A family friend, a Colonel, was assigned to the Green Zone to protect it. Visiting dignitaries, politicians, other gusts including diplomats, were kept safe there. Beaus was a desk soldier. Dementia Jo is turning Beau into Audie Murphy.)

With seriously failed memory, Joe has conflated Beau’s cancer with the burn pits. He needs a hero in the family. He returned from Iraq in fall 2009. He had brain cancer in 2013 which was believed to have been cured according to reports. His 2015 illness and death were attributed to a relapse from that 2013 cancer. As I recall Teddy Kennedy died of glioblastoma.

Reply 10 (birddog), a bronze star can be awarded without a reference to valor. That's why some bronze stars have a "V" device, when valor is behind it. These non-valor bronze stars are a step up from the Army commendation medal. To Beau Biden's credit he downplayed the awarding of this medal. I think Beau was the black sheep of the family. That is, he was a good Biden.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other legal groups filed a lawsuit against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Thursday, alleging that migrants detained in four detention facilities in Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Arizona have been denied legal representation. In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs allege that attorneys face "numerous obstacles" in attempting to communicate with detained migrants. These obstacles, the lawsuit says, make representation "extremely difficult and, sometimes, impossible." The lawsuit alleges that attorneys have had difficulty scheduling legal calls and having meetings with their clients in confidential settings.

Many rural Oregonians fed up with the state's liberal politics want to move to Idaho — or rather, move Idaho to them. The Greater Idaho movement proposes redrawing Oregon's borders so that about two-thirds of the Beaver State's land mass becomes part of neighboring Idaho. The movement has already gained support from nine counties in Eastern Oregon, and two more will vote on whether they want lawmakers to work on the logistics of moving the border. "It makes more sense for Eastern Oregonians to get state-level governance coming from Idaho, where they share their values, share their culture, share their politics, than it does to be governed by Western Oregon,"
