Washington—When Emmanuel Obeng-Dankwa is worried about making rent on his New York City apartment, he sometimes holds off on filling his blood pressure medication. “If there’s no money, I prefer to skip the medication to being homeless,” said Obeng-Dankwa, a 58-year-old security guard. He is among a majority of adults in the U.S. who say that health care is not handled well in the country, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The poll reveals that public satisfaction with the U.S. health care system is remarkably low, with fewer than half of Americans saying it is generally

Kween Barry made healthcare affordable, so why the whining? Former President Trump never delivered on his great plan to replace Obamacare with something that really was affordable, and his sensible plan to control drug prices was met with stiff resistance from the Republicans and Big Pharma, which helped oust him from office despite his handing them countless billions of dollars thanks to the Covid crisis.

The US has a great health care system. Where would you rather have a heart attack, New York or Russia? Where would you rather have your brain surgery; California or Egypt? Where would you rather have treatment for injuries from an automobile accident, Michigan or Peru? You can complain all you want about how health care is PAID FOR, but the quality and quantity that US citizens are able to receive is way above most places in the world. It was even better before Obama Care put limits on treatments and destroyed the low deductible insurance plans that many of us enjoyed until it was implemented. Today, Only government employees seem to still get the Cadillac coverage that many once enjoyed. The problem is not the quality of the health care. The problem is how it is paid for. For that, blame the Democrats and the US government.

It started with Obamacare, which quickly showed patients that money is far more important than people when it comes to healthcare. During the pandemic, many doctors willingly lied to their patients and did what the government and the CDC told them to do, not what was best for the sick. Prices are sky high for necessary drugs while the experimental stuff that can kill you is free and being pushed by the aforementioned agencies. You want trust? Sorry, so does the FBI. That ship has sailed. Our once-great healthcare system will look exactly like Canada's and Britain's in a few years when the affirmative action doctors take over for those who are retiring in disgust. Management by the Government, Big Pharma and Big Insurance is not a workable solution.

That’s part of the problem #4. I insured a small company that had several Hispanics (not sure of their legal status) but he provided health insurance for the employees but charged them the dependent cost. Juan comes to him one day and wants to drop the dependent coverage. My customer says, “Juan, your wife is pregnant and you want to drop her coverage?” He says, “I know but they will have to deliver the baby anyway and they won’t be able to find me to make me pay so I save money.” Multiply that 500,000 times.

# 1 - we may have had great care at one time but we do not have it now. I remember family doctors who knew everyone in the family cared for all of us. No such thing now. Drs are not allowed to treat patients the way they want to. It has to be the way the government dictates. And many drs are on pharmaceutical payrolls and the more they prescribe certain pills, the more they make. And from what I see going on now, it will get worse.

Yes #6, been watching that play out in Texas for decades. They come to the ER, give phony addresses and phone numbers and nobody can find them to pay the bill. They think nothing of getting as much free medical care as they can.

At least 97 bought or sold stocks, bonds or other financial assets through themselves or their spouses that directly intersected with their congressional work. US lawmakers are not yet banned from making any stock trades, though insider trading is illegal for everyone. The trades that intersect with committee work are split evenly on partisan lines-49 Republicans and 48 Democrats.

Shocking photos show President Biden’s border crisis has hit a new peak in El Paso, Texas—where a historic flood of migrants has turned the city into what a local pol says resembles “a third-world country.” Regional Border Patrol Chief Gloria Chavez posted snapshots Monday night on Instagram that showed hordes of migrants dumped under an El Paso bridge over the weekend because the city has no more room to even process them. “We’ve never seen anything like this,” said outraged US Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas), whose district covers part of the city, as El Paso began grappling with its highest daily influx ever last month.

And the rest is a catastrophic strategic failure history,” Navarro wrote, according to The Guardian. But thousands of applications filed from foreign Internet Protocol addresses still got through the SBA’s firewall, causing the agency to dole out about $1.3 billion in payments the inspector general deemed at severe risk of being fraudulent.(Snip)Unemployment benefits were particularly vulnerable, with few
