Study finds that over half of people with
Omicron Variant of Covid don’t even

It’s getting harder to keep the populace in a state of panic (and therefore attempt to justify mass mail in voting and other election security diminishments) now that Covid is following the path of most other viral epidemics. The virus evolves into a less lethal form (that doesn’t kill off the hosts, in other words) that spreads even more easily. That seems to be the case with the Omicron Variant of Covid, as Shauneen Miranda of NPR reports: Researchers at Cedars-Sinai, a nonprofit health organization based in Los Angeles, examined the infectious status of individuals during the omicron surge in the U.S.

Comments:

Hard to keep up the government control hysteria when the "dread disease" isn't even noticed when you get it.

I don't know if their "antibody test" an differentiate antibodies that may have existed for years from other coronavirus infections and antibodies that are specific to "Omicron". In Feb-March of 2020 the first large infection that hit the news outside of China was on a far east cruise ship. They eventually figured out when the first infected patient boarded, and from that time, the passengers and crew did the extremely socially interactive things that cruise ship people do for 12-13 days, and then the outbreak was discovered, and everyone sheltered in cabins, food was delivered. After some days, I think a week or more of that, the passengers disembarked and returned home. The important thing is that technical papers which examined the case showed that 80% of the 3,700 people on board did NOT get the virus. Best guess is that they had a pre-existing resistance from previous coronavirus infections. Some coronaviruses are part of the viruses lumped into "the common cold". So....were they able to tell a pre-existing coronavirus antibody from a common cold coronavirus from this one? And what's the difference, effectively the COVID-19 has become just another common cold, it seems like.

A disease so insidious you might mistake it for the common cold, if that. On the other hand, people who've been vaxxed and boosted seem to get Covid more readily, and have notably more severe cases. And the vaxx itself is dangerous. Covid vaccine-related adverse events reported to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System through August 12. Such reporting reflects only a small fraction (1% to 10% per one study) of real-world events. 30,347 deaths 173,449 hospitalizations 133,935 urgent care visits 203,191 doctor office visits 56,734 permanently disabled 16,278 heart attacks 9,915 cases of anaphylaxis 51,566 cases of myocarditis/pericarditis 15,853 cases of Bell's palsy 4,941 miscarriages https://www.openvaers.com/covid-data For perspective, in over 25 years' worth of experience with common flu vaccines, there have been fewer than 1,700 deaths reported in VAERS.

I sure knew when I had it. Yes, it was much like a bad cold or mild flu, but it felt different - it seemed somehow artificial. Heard to put in words, but it was different from other ailments I've had. I had walking pneumonia, too, so my recovery was longer than my family members who also caught the virus. Having watched my father suffocate to death from pulmonary fibrosis, I have an extra concern about lung problems. What China did to the world is beyond words. So nice of the current administration to take it seriously. Ramona (the Pest)

As a resident of Oregon, which has had statewide vote by mail since 1986, when I say the fastest way to a one party rule in this nation, would be to institute Pelosi's dream scheme for fraud nationwide. We haven't had a republican governor since this mess started in Oregon, and it isn't for a lack of good candidates either.

I got COVID six weeks ago and didn't realize it for two days until I got chills and realized I had a fever. Stuck a thermometer in my mouth, and sure enough, temperature was 101. My only symptoms were the fever, a dull headache and a dry cough. Stayed home for a couple of weeks, but never felt bad. I did housework and worked in the yard the whole time. I've had cases of flu and sinus infections that mad me much sicker.

Both in America and in China, there’s grim economic news and, in both cases, I’m feeling pretty darn ambivalent about these reports. Both reports bode ill for the economy as a whole, but both are happening to entities that kind of asked for it. At home, Target’s profits have dropped by 90% (that’s not a typo) in the last quarter. Here’s what The Daily Mail (hat tip: Conservative Treehouse) reports: Target reported on Wednesday that its profits plunged nearly 90 percent last quarter after it was forced to slash prices to clear unwanted inventories of clothing, home goods and electronics.

Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns formerly headed an influential D.C. think tank while it employed undisclosed Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members as well as individuals with Chinese government ties, the Daily Caller News Foundation has found. During Burns’ tenure as president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace from February 2015 to November 2021, the think tank employed at least 20 policy experts whom the DCNF has identified as CCP members. These CCP members worked at both Carnegie’s Washington, D.C., headquarters and Carnegie-Tsinghua — the Beijing center Burns’ predecessor, Jessica Mathews, launched in 2010 in cooperation with Tsinghua University.

Does everyone realize that the often-repeated line from the anti-liberty left doesn't ever stand up to factual reality? It's a construct primarily from the anti-liberty left side of the political spectrum. Like so many other lies from the left, it's been repeated so many times that people seem to accept it as the truth. But how many other aspects of popular culture have you seen that have been dead wrong? [snip] One question destroys the liberal/conservative narrative fiction: Were Stalin, Mao, and Hitler "ultra-liberal"?

This time, it is mega-floods in California replacing mega-droughts, and again they are supposedly caused by us and fossil fuels. Not once do journalists give a damn that their previous dire predictions have been 100% false. To the compliant, complicit media, and other Democrats, floods, droughts, too much snow, too little snow, record cold, record warmth are all caused by us, instead of cyclical and natural. The solution is always bigger government and more control of our lives. It is arrogant and ignorant for anyone to pretend they can control temperatures, sea levels, and storm activities if we just hand over trillions of dollars

In the first year of the pandemic, a team from Otago University in New Zealand (my former university) published an interesting study that provided some explanation for the strong public support for lockdown measures. This support came despite known or predicted collateral harms, including loss of livelihoods, elevated mortality from neglect of other diseases and ailments, “deaths of despair” from greater loneliness, and police abuses. The answer, they said, is the moralization of restrictions in pursuit of a Covid eradication strategy. People did not take kindly even to mere questioning of the restrictions. With many governments, for example the British, deploying state propaganda to the full to instill fear

Russia's bloody and senseless war against Ukraine has been going on for almost six months. Instead of the original goal of quickly seizing Ukraine and turning it into a puppet state or a province (the name "Ukraine" is derived from the Russian word for “outskirts"), Russia has suddenly encountered an impenetrable wall of resistance. Two questions logically arise: 1) why did Russia attack Ukraine? and 2) how and when will the war end? Today's Russia is the heir to two political formations: feudal and then capitalist tsarist Russia, which died in 1917, and the communist Soviet Union, which lost the Cold War and disintegrated in 1991.

The Florida federal magistrate judge who signed off on a search warrant authorizing the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort left the local US Attorney’s office more than a decade ago to rep employees of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had received immunity in the long-running sex-trafficking investigation of the financier. Sources tell The Post that Judge Bruce Reinhart approved the warrant that enabled federal agents to converge on the palatial South Florida estate on Monday in what Trump called an “unannounced raid on my home.” Reinhart was elevated to magistrate judge in March 2018 after 10 years in private practice.CORRECTION*

To understand how this works, you must pay attention to what is happening in the Netherlands, where the government is planning to seize 20% of livestock farms, all in the name of climate change. Holland was once a bastion of liberty on a continent that was subject to total monarchal control and riven by religious wars. It wasn't freedom as we have come to understand it in America, but, after they threw off Spanish control, the Dutch allowed faiths
