New COVID-19 booster shots are set to be authorized this week by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and will be available to most Americans before human testing has even been completed. The shots have been modified to target the latest Omicron variant, but won't have finished testing in humans when the FDA makes the decision. Instead, the FDA is relying on data from other sources - like research in mice and older vaccines, the Wall Street Journal reported.

They can't print enough Monopoly money fast enough to convince me to take their shot. I don't trust them any further than I can throw them. My husband has taken all the shots and he is dealing with his second infection within six weeks of each other. I have a feeling there will be a lot of people who will happily tell you where to go when it comes to this next batch of witches' brew.

Nobody needs any shot for this Omicron. It does not have any serious lung involvement. That is what made original Covid so dangerous. The whole family had whatever version was out last Easter, and I (unvaccinated by the way) had a few of the "risk factors" they keep talking about. It was nothing really. There was a lot of head congestion, a dry cough and the extra added features of dry mouth and a very weird unpleasant taste in my mouth. After about four days it was all gone but the bad taste. That took a few weeks of on and off until that disappeared. I can see how someone is seriously ill might be concerned, when even a regular common cold could escalate into something more serious, but I truly believe that a person is much better off getting the Omicron (each variant is milder than the one before) than taking this untested shot.

Yeah, based on their high safety and extreme effectiveness as a base......../s off The original shots were dangerous and ineffective at preventing the disease, or transmission of the disease. And how many died FROM these shots? Nothing that they do has induced me to get their damned shots, and nothing will change that.

Millions have died from the vaccines. Millions have become sterile. Millions have developed serious health problems they never had before. Everyone who got the jab and boosters has caught the virus, some several times over again. Those that haven't gotten the needle and have caught the virus, have natural immunity, and more than likely will not catch it again. One and done. Why risk death over something that is not lethal to most people? Variants will continue to come along and from what I have heard, they are always weaker than the previous strain.

As far as I'm concerned, any CoVid-19 jab is a reward less risk. My wife is completely incapacitated because of her second Covid jab. The Stanford Doctors misdiagnosed her and sent her home to die. We believed them for a long time, but I eventually realized her deterioration didn't match the CJD trajectory. I'm hopeful she'll have a full recovery but she has massive brain damage to repair. Ironically, she and I were infected before anyone knew what it was. The CDC was saying natural immunity wasn't as good as the jab then. What liars!

The other reality, smaller and operating off the grid, looks at conventional politics as a farce or a fraud. The former group is larger and gets all of the attention, but the latter group seems to be on the upswing. For the most part, the American political system is a drama, a theater staged by the political class to keep people engaged.

Americans are no strangers to “times that try men’s souls,” to borrow a phrase from Thomas Paine. By mid-1945, the United States had been at war for three-and-a-half years, enduring the draft, separation from loved ones, mounting numbers of casualties, and rationing, with no end in sight. Many Americans were weary, not unlike our feelings now, after two-and-a-half years of privations and anguish related to the COVID-19 pandemic. That sense of anxiety and the widespread desire to return to normality brought to mind how World War II was suddenly – and to many, unexpectedly – resolved.
