He has a very public voice, both online and in person. And doing so would guarantee that the left would lose elections until all of those response for this persecution of President Trump have gone the way of the dodo.

S. president, along with their degradation of the rule of law and equal justice under the law, they should consider the fate of the would-be patron saint of the hard left, Nicolae Ceausescu (D), Romania. Ceausescu was the communist dictator (democrat strongman) over Romania; that is until 1989, when the people of Romania had enough and rose up and out into the streets, joined eventually by the Romanian military, who finally sided with the people and not their totalitarian overlords. The Romanian Revolution wasn't bloodless but what touched off the end game, resulting in overthrow and execution, was when Ceausescu perceived anti-communist demonstrators as a political threat. Like a Swalwell wet dream, he ordered the military to open fire on the crowds on December 17, 1989, causing numerous deaths and injuries. Rather than scurrying back into the shadows, the anti-communist people of Romania doubled down and the massive protests spread to the capital city. The dictator and his wife finally read the tea leaves and tried to flee but after the military defected (smart move), the Ceausesus were arrested, charged, and convicted of economic sabotage (sound familiar?) and genocide (Swalwell's dream). They were summarily executed on 25 December 89. The 8 days from the government-ordered massacre of civilians to the execution of their leftist dictator set the bar for swift justice against an imposed communist regime, driven by freedom loving citizens. Moral to the story: It's not about what Trump can do to save the U.S.A. It is always about what the people decide to do that truly matters most vis-a-vis the relationship of the people and their government. I'm sure that in 1989 Romania, there were many citizens, perhaps even a majority, cautioning that "the time isn't right to revolt now..." or "don't fall into the government trap."
