Nearly one in four Democratic voters believe men can get pregnant, according to a new poll.
The online survey, conducted by WPA Intelligence from August 22-25, found 22% of Democrats agreed with the statement, “Some men can get pregnant.” The percentage rose when only including women, and a whopping 36% of white, college-educated female Democrats concurred.
“Overall, few Americans think men can get pregnant,” said WPAi Managing Director Conor Maguire. “But with 36% of a core Democratic constituency (college-educated white Democratic women)

Former Attorney General William Barr during an interview on Fox News last week said that if Trump did indeed have a standing order to declassify all documents that he took with him as he left the White House, that would amount to a worse abuse than actually taking the documents. (snip) Barr called the order to appoint a special master a “deeply flawed” decision. (snip) Now, Barr is urging the Department of Justice to appeal Judge Cannon’s “deeply flawed” ruling.
For the media this is the gold they dream of, a former Trump cabinet member attacking him. They carried on with glee.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot bashed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott over the holiday weekend on the basis of his religion, claiming that the state's migrant busing initiative went against the premise of Christianity.
Lightfoot, a Democrat, blasted the Republican after a second bus of migrants was dropped off in the Illinois city. Just over 100 migrants have been dropped off in Chicago over the past week, compared to the 1 million who have been released into the United States along the southern border since President Joe Biden took office.(Snip) "He professes to be a Christian," Lightfoot said during a press conference Sunday. Donald Trump's former attorney general kept up his criticism of the ex-president on Tuesday, saying the evidence against him was clear and that it was plain 'wrong' for a judge to appoint a special master to review documents seized at Mar-a-Lago.
A day earlier, a federal judge in Florida gave Trump a win by agreeing to his request for a special master, slowing the pace of the investigation.
But Bill Barr blasted the decision and said it would likely be overturned if the government appealed.
'The opinion, I think was wrong, and I think the government should appeal,' he told Fox News.

California officials say it will cost $14 billion to upgrade aging wastewater facilities that are dumping nutrients from treated human sewage into San Francisco Bay, which are feeding a giant algae bloom that has lingered for more than two months and killed tens of thousands of fish. The algae bloom, which appeared in late July, has grown to an immense size because of the tons of nutrients from urine and feces of the eight million Bay Area residents that is released into the waters daily—one plant alone dumps 85 million gallons a day that contains 5.5 tons of nitrogen. Scientists say the bloom was triggered by climate change,

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had a clap ready Tuesday after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz invited her to visit the southern border after her comment last week that migrants weren't 'walking' into the country.
Jean-Pierre, a former national spokeswoman for MoveOn, said she had already been to the border – then slammed Cruz by tying him to Trump Administration immigration policies.
'So I've been to the border, I went in 2018. I stood outside facilities where the Trump administration was separating families, tearing babies out of their mother's arms,' she said.

Recruitment numbers for the Army are at historic lows as Americans are either too fat or criminal to join the defend the country, an Army general warned. Lt. Gen Xavier Brunson, the commander of Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state, theorized as to why recruitment is so low following a July statement from the Army that announced it wouldn't meet its 485,000 recruitment goal for 2022, falling short by a staggering 20,000 recruits. Officers across the country are failing to meet recruitment numbers as fewer youth are qualified to serve, which some blame on the COVID-19 pandemic.(Snip)

Boston—Attorney General Maura Healey won the Democratic primary for Massachusetts governor on Tuesday, bringing her one step closer to becoming the first openly gay candidate and first woman elected to the state’s top political office—eight years after she was elected the nation’s first openly gay attorney general. Healey, whose only rival for the nomination dropped out of the race but remained on the ballot, will be the heavy favorite in November against the winner of the Republican primary. Former state Rep. Geoff Diehl, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, and businessman Chris Doughty, who is considered more moderate, are running for the GOP nomination.

Leading pediatricians in the United States are saying that some young children may need two flu shots this year after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted vaccination schedules last year and amid reports of a more viscous flu season in the southern hemisphere. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) put out a notice Tuesday that children between the ages of six months and eight years old who have received less than two flu shots during their life should double up on the jabs this time around. The two shots should be received around a month apart from one-another. It comes in response to faltering flu shot demand

Most Americans will need to get an annual vaccine for the Chinese coronavirus, Anthony Fauci, outgoing chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden, said this week. Fauci suggested that it is becoming “clear” that coronavirus jabs, in the future, should be treated and viewed simply as an annual flu shot. “It is becoming increasingly clear that looking forward with the COVID-19 pandemic, in the absence of a dramatically different variant, we likely are moving towards a path with a vaccination cadence similar to that of the annual influenza vaccine, with annual updated COVID-19 shots matched to the currently circulating strains for most of the population,” he stated,

On Saturday night, Former President Donald Trump tried to distract from his own legal problems over government documents by claiming his arch enemy Hillary Clinton crammed classified information on to a 'secret server.'
On Tuesday, she hit back with an exasperated tweet.
'I can't believe we're still talking about this, but my emails… As Trump's problems continue to mount, the right is trying to make this about me again,' wrote the former secretary of state.
'There’s even a "Clinton Standard."
'The fact is that I had zero emails that were classified.'

Sources tell FOX Business that Pelosi wants President Biden to nominate her to become the next U.S. ambassador to Italy if the GOP takes the House majority in the midterm elections.
Biden is holding the spot for the speaker, sources say, which is one reason he has yet to fill the position since taking office.
Speculation earlier this year that a Pelosi ally and former Wall Street executive wanted the job has shifted with the increasing likelihood that the GOP takes the majority. There was no clarity yet on how a new Senate will react to a Pelosi nomination
