Trump Attorneys Spill the Beans on Issues
With FBI Raid, Warrant

The attorneys for President Donald Trump are now spilling the beans on some of the issues with the FBI raid of his home and the search warrant. Trump attorney Alina Habba appeared on Fox News with Jesse Watters. She said that they had been cooperating with the National Archives over the records and that this was completely “unconstitutional.” “Our country should be terrified—I am terrified,” Habba exclaimed. She said the FBI went in when he wasn’t even there, and then told his attorneys to leave, that they couldn’t watch or be there. “That doesn’t sound good to me,” she declared.Habba said the agents came in wearing backpacks

And what is anyone prepared to do about it? It amazes me that of the thousands who flock to Trump rallies, none show up to peacefully demonstrate at Federal Buildings protesting this incursion, not to forget those J6 political prisoners. Bring out those banging pots, ringing bells and jinging keys. It's time for an American Velvet Revolution. Keeping your powder dry and doing nothing is not going to do a damn thing except present a display of surrender. Broken glass...yeah...sure...

I like the idea of a Velvet Revolution. But since the UniParty has gotten this far (bogus search etc), why wouldn’t they arrest Velvet Protestors on bogus charges, a la J6 protestors?

They told the lawyers they had to leave? No witnesses, to what they took, or left, or planted, or stole, or photographed.... Sounds familiar, like the multiple 2020 vote "counting" fiascos. So every time these creatures want to do their dirty work, they first clear the field.

Isn't there something called chain of command. I'm old and the only law I have experienced is what I see on TV. However, I do know there is chain of command to show what was taken, where it was taken from, where it went, who it went with, date and time. And if anyone else handles it, they need to date, time and enter their names. I don't care what they think they will find, all these laws were broken. How can this happen in America?

#2 - A rally for a set place, day and time is easy to fill with tens of thousands of people. In countries like Poland and Hungary its easy to have a finally fed-up population congregate in a capitol city in the hundreds of thousands and express their will in a moment of passion. In a nation as huge as ours, with our national capitol on its extreme eastern shores, its not quite so easy for masses of citizens to get quickly to D.C. As we have seen, its not safe for us to go. Is a spontaneous march to the downtowns of our major cities a good idea for anybody today? Your daily curmudgeonly rant is getting predicable. Its easy to be a cynic. Enlighten us as to your idea of real action.

I have always believed that the Obama Administraiton "BOOBY TRAPPED" the WH before they left and apparently got even as far as Trump Tower in NYC. But then Obama was more successful than anyone in history in keeping his educational history SECRET. And why? I am sure that they (UNIPARTY) wll be as successful with this Warran, and more importantl its true reasons. They have the Blueprint ... all the pieces are in place ... like an episode of "Mission Impossible." Except it isn't. :(

The DOJ and FBI are doing the Jan 6 committee's dirty work. The Jan 6 can't find anything and everyday it looks more and more like a clown court, so they called in the FBI. Just like Pelosi and the deep state did on January 6th. We have one of the dirtiest governments going. When we take back the House and Senate, we must make sure that those responsible for this are punished with jail time.

According to Miranda Devine at the New York Post: "A legal source said that the boxes had been packed up by the General Services Administration and shipped to Mar-a-Lago when Trump left office in January 2020." So how could President Trump be accused of stealing top secret documents, etc? He probably didn't know half of what was in those boxes.

Didn't we have a Velvet Revolution on Jan 6? Here's how you defeat that: 1. First you invite 1/4 of them into the building. 2. Then you capture a bunch of folks behind a bike gate and pepper the crowd with sting ammo, especially women. 3. Then the crowd pushed back and some men try to protect the injured and all hell breaks out. 4. Then you beat to death one woman and shoot dead another. 5. Then you arrest the Veltveteens and toss them in hell prison solitary w/o charges for a year or two. 6, When the MSM narrative is completed you raid Donald Trump's home, also w/no video witness. Do we not understand the the Jan 6 protest carnage was designed for the next group of protesters to think about?

This insane move by the FBI is boosting Trump’s already sky high popularity. Americans don’t like this kind of Castroesque thuggery and are responding accordingly. We know that, if this can be done to a president, it can easily be done to us. I’ve posted well over 10,000 replies on this site in the last 20 plus years and am on lists as having donated to Trump’s campaign, so I’m a possible target. As are all of you. Many on the left are condemning this raid because they know that it will blow up in their faces. And they know the definition of payback. Heck, it may destroy them as a political force completely.

So Hillary can have thousands of classified emails on her private server at her home--then delete them. And Nancy can destroy Trump's SOTU speech/document by ripping it in two during the speech. But Trump, after issuing an EO to declassify all the Russiagate docs, takes some of those docs to MAL, gets raided by the FBI. And now the Marxists, who easily could plant anything they want into the "evidence" will push this to not allow him the ability to run in 2024 because "the law." Certainly Hillary and Nancy should retroactively receive the same punishment. Also, nobody in the FBI seems to know where Hunter's laptop is--isn't this a destruction/loss of classified evidence?

#7, My husband and I go round and round about the response to the horrific Biden administration’s criminal actions. I admit I want action but his is the voice of reason. How do you protest a government so corrupt that they have made political prisoners of average American citizens using trumped up charges and the weight of the United States government to imprison them. It was a shot across the bow to anyone who dares oppose them. When you have an administration that has at its disposal the FBI and DOJ willing to use that power against Americans, your options become very limited. We do have the ballot box but if that fails us due to voter fraud, what then? Will it be submission or revolt? Democrats have set this up for a no win situation because their only option is criminal and our only option should they succeed is to rebel. Through the complete cowardice of our Republican leadership we have been thrown into this vortex of poor choices. If the Republican response to this raid is any indication of their willingness to confront this administration, we cannot look to them for anything. We are pretty much on our own.

Dodge Girl and I have been discussing this raid every which way to Sunday. We agree with the many thoughtful and passionate commenters on this thread. It is difficult to accept that Americans are slowly but surely being brainwashed to embrace and submit to tyranny. But it is so. Despite the fact that there are more guns and firepower here than there are people. As regards a way out of this, are we on our own? So far, it looks like it. Yes, forget about the Republican Party to save us from political oblivion. Perhaps if enough of the Trump-supported pubbie candidates get elected in November and Trump is sitting behind the Resolute Desk in January 2025 there is some hope. But make no mistake - the Great Reset is here and is metastasizing like a cancer. Why isn't there massive resistance? Simple - our stomachs are always full, our gas tanks are always full, we have jobs and money, cell phones and computers working just fine, lots of water to drink, we have nice houses, and we have plenty of electricity and natural gas. But, oh no, we have an education system, entertainment, and social and news media that were hijacked by leftism a long time ago to make sure group think is kept in line, despair is maintained, and resistance is controlled. Given all of the modern comforts I just described, not enough of us believe that, in the foreseeable future, we will be conditioned to own nothing and be happy while we eat bugs to survive. Sorry, still looking for something positive to say.

Last night every alphabet cable stations were gleefully talking about how they were provoking Trump supporters to just do that. They will call it another insurrection with the stated agenda/purpose of not only doing another 2020 election, with stopping in person voting, and their added bonus of confiscating firearms of the conservatives. Dan said his blood pressure was ski high because of what was being done 15 miles from his home at MAL. He is beside himself for the outrageous display for lawless power from the FBI. He says everyone, everyone, connected to this raid should be fired from the agents with the AR15 inside and outside the Trump compound to DOJ Garland and FBI Wray. Bongino said he's lost all respect for the agency he once supported and respected....as we all have. I honestly hope I’m wrong, but there is something very weird about #42’s insistence on a crowd of conservatives gathering publicly, in light of what was done to us on Jan 6. It would be so very easy for the (non-mythical) Deep State to re-create what they did at the Capitol. The urgent insistence that we do that from one of our posters sits uneasy with me. That is exactly what this same poster has decried as foolish behavior on Jan 6. Patriots were urged by false flag operators to behave in a way that could be used against them, President Trump and conservatives, in general. There will come a time for direct action, I fear, but we must be suspicious of loud voices banging the drum to repeat past mistakes.

Exclusive -- John Solomon: Whistleblower

John Solomon, founder and editor-in-chief of Just the News, noted on Tuesday’s edition of the Breitbart News Daily podcast with host Alex Marlow that whistleblowers from the Federal Bureau of Investigaion (FBI) warned of “political manipulation” at the FBI’s Washington Field Office, which conducted a raid on Monday of former President Donald Trump’s personal residence at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. FBI Director Christopher Wray has not “taken” the whistleblowers’ allegations of partisan political corruption at the FBI “as seriously as the proof and evidence now merit,” Solomon stated.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago says a lot about where we are as a country but if you look closely it says a lot less about us and a lot more about the Democrats. As I spent a lot of time explaining during Wednesday’s RedState LIVE!, the Democrats have shown just how desperate they are to stop Trump, so much so that they’ll cook up one of the worst excuses to raid anyone in the history of ever, and a former president no less. It’s abundantly clear that they fear him running in 2024 and are searching relentlessly for something, anything, that might prohibit him from being a candidate. But it’s not just

We are all waiting to see the next steps establishment Washington takes following the raid at Mar-a-Lago. As details emerge, the reason for the intrusive spectacle becomes less clear. It has undoubtedly divided Americans along partisan lines. However, the obvious political persecution of the former president is drawing some new lines. People notice when you put that kind of banana republic nonsense on top of a horrible economy. They join 76.7% of Republicans who hold the same view. The two groups are also aligned on enthusiasm

Americans who earn less than $75,000 per year are slated to receive 60% of the additional tax audits expected under Democrats' spending package, according to an analysis released by House Republicans. The analysis, which is a conservative estimate based upon recent audit rates and tax filing data, shows that individuals with an annual income of $75,000 or less would be subject to 710,863 additional Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audits while those making more than $1 million would receive 52,295 more audits under the bill. The legislation, the Inflation Reduction Act, would roughly double the IRS' budget to increase enforcement and, therefore, federal tax revenue.

It seems the DOJ has decided to leak an explanation of their decision to use a search warrant in this case. Newsweek just published an exclusive report based on anonymous DOJ sources which claims the FBI had a confidential source at Mar-a-Lago, one who informed them that Trump was hiding documents and even specified where they could be found. The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an FBI confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told Newsweek. Washington - The Department of Justice charged an Iranian national on Wednesday for plotting to assassinate former President Donald Trump's national security advisor John Bolton. Shahram Poursafi, 45, of Tehran, Iran, tried to arrange the killing of Bolton in retaliation for the January 2020 death of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Qasem Soleimani, according to court documents. Poursafi, a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, attempted to pay individuals in the United States in October 2021 a reward of $300,000 to carry out the plot in either Washington, D.C. or Maryland.

Inflation came in a smidge under expectations in July and — this time, for sure, they mean it — Presidentish Joe Biden’s economy has bottomed out and prosperity is just around the corner. To hear CNN and other state organs tell the story, that is. Markets are up on the news, probably because traders expect the Fed to use any handy excuse to stop the interest rate hikes. I haven’t seen this big a celebration since our most recent battlefield victory over Eastasia, with whom Oceania has always been at war. Unless we’ve always been at war with Eurasia. Just like the glorious economic news,

Inflation surged 8.5 percent in July compared to the same month last year, down slightly from the four-decade high reached in June, the Labor Department announced Wednesday. The Consumer Price Index, a key measure of the cost of goods and services, dropped slightly due to a decline in record-high fuel prices which drove the previous month’s historic inflation spike. The increase also beat expectations as economists surveyed by Dow Jones expected headline CPI to increase 8.7 percent year-over-year in July. Excluding volatile food and fuel prices, core inflation rose 5.9 percent annually and 0.3 percent monthly.

Former president Trump announced Wednesday that he invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to answer questions in New York attorney general Letitia James’ civil investigation into his family’s real-estate holdings. “Under the advice of my counsel and for all of the above reasons, I declined to answer the questions under the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution,” Trump said in a statement. “I once asked, ‘If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?’ Now I know the answer to that question.” Trump arrived at James’s office Wednesday morning to be deposed after his children Ivanka Trump and Don Jr.

About a day after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home and resort, his pick for Wisconsin governor has won the Republican primary, according to a race call by The Associated Press. Late in the campaign, Trump endorsed construction executive and self-described political newcomer Tim Michels who spent millions of his own dollars on a TV ad blitz, painting himself as a businessman and "outsider" who wants to turn government upside down. Michels may not earn his living in politics, but he's not a political newcomer. He first ran for office in 1998, losing a Republican primary for state Senate to now-U.S. Rep. Scott Fitzgerald.

The “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC dedicated extensive time Tuesday morning to the stunning news that former President Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida home of Mar-a-Lago was raided Monday night by the FBI with a search warrant reportedly pursuant to a possible Presidential Records Act violation.  However, the liberal networks were surprisingly not ready to celebrate with ABC and CBS noting there’s been very little “transparency from the Justice Department or the FBI” and, if they had only sought boxes of presidential records, it would be correctly viewed as “overreach” by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

As the Wyoming primaries approach, The New York Times is already preparing the post-election spin boosting the post-congressional exploits of Rep. Liz Cheney. The Aug. 8 front-page headline was "Cheney Ready to Lose a Race, But Not a Fight." Times reporter Jonathan Martin laid it on thick: "She has used the Aug. 16 contest as a sort of a high-profile stage for her martyrdom — and a proving ground for her new crusade." Martyrdom? She's not being burned at the stake like Joan of Arc, even if that's the kind of moral high ground the liberal media coverage suggests.

The Labor Department released the inflation report Wednesday and while any fair-minded person can tell the economy is far from looking up, President Joe Biden has well and truly embraced Orwellian dystopian doublethink and, instead of saying “2+2=5,” declared 8.5 equals zero. While holding a ceremony Wednesday to sign the PACT Act that, in part, addresses the healthcare needs of veterans who suffered illness or injury from exposure to burn pits, Biden attempted to draw a win on the consumer price index (CPI) coming in at 8.5 percent for the month of July. That number was indeed a drop from
