Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blasted Democrats over details in a reconciliation bill that would add 87,000 more IRS workers.
Cruz shared the remarks during a Senate floor speech this weekend that noted Americans are not looking for more IRS agents as an answer to the nation’s problems.
“There are a lot of bad things in this bill, but few are worse than the proposal by Democrats in this bill to double the size of the IRS and create 87,000 new IRS agents,” Cruz said during his Senate floor speech.
“I guarantee you citizens in every one of our states, if you ask them, ‘What do they want?’ they don’t want

So, the IRS is going to be the next weaponized agency against the American people.
I've had a couple of issues with the IRS, each time it has been THEM screwing up and I have been able to prove it and get them to back off, stop hounding me for money I do not owe them. Probably the good news is that their are immensely incompetent, so probably won't be very effective against us.
Also.....are there any white people allowed to work in the IRS? I have never run across a white person working for them.

So it can be further weaponized and used against their political enemies - meaning everyone of us who disagree with them. Forget Russia and the Chicoms - those are partners - we are their only real threat to power.

Oxymoron of the year: The Inflation Reduction Act.
By now, Washington realizes the are giving out free money they don't have. Guessing they think growing the IRS to get some of that money back is the way to go. How many billions/year will that cost? How much will the IRS have to increase collections to make this scheme profitable? It's a given Washington will only use this to go after its enemies. It won't work.
Things will only improve when the current load of clowns in Washington are ousted. Not holding my breath.

Many believe the over 80K new IRS “investigators” will be solely used to increase income tax compliance. DON’T BELIEVE THAT!! There will be THOUSANDS OF NEW LOUIS LERNERS targeting conservative churches and nonprofits. THEY WILL BE OUT TO SILENCE US AND FINANCIALLY DESTROY US.

#1 They already were #1 when they first went after the Tea Party.
#3 I think the elimination of the Central Bank will change our system. Taxes may become a thing of the past.

When people think the amount of tax they owe is fair, there is high compliance. The government has overtaxed their citizens to the point that IRS knows they have to force compliance. Dangerous stuff.

They're going after the retired guy who does handyman work or the stay at home Mom who may take in a few extra kids each day for cash.
In the meantime Hunter & Joe Biden, Sharpton and every grifter in Congress collecting big money from their "foundations" and gifts on the side from donors, lobbyists, and those who seek access to their office.
Crush those cheating citizens trying to make ends meet. Nothing to see in Washington.

Greats comments all, thanks. Let's not forget their gun collection. They need more of OUR money to weaponize further. Unless we get Trump, DeSantis, clean Republicans back in charge, the grim future for us is clear.
We MUST make sure the voting is HONEST.

A flat tax wouldn’t do it, #3 because everyone would still have to file. The only solution is a national sales tax. That way, everyone would pay taxes including tourists, drug dealers, illegals, gang members and welfare queens.

This is how they plan to accomplish wealth confiscation and transfers. Poor people, don't get excited; it's not about you at all. It's all about non producers taking from producers to line their own pockets and create lordships for themselves. Evil, lying, thieves.

Although it may be mis-attributed To Lenin (The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them down between the millstones of taxation and inflation.
. John Maynard Keynes, paraphrase of Lenin Interview' It is apparent that this is what the Evil Left is planning for us. They already have the inflation part down.

And Da Nang Dick Blumenthal says the IRS will not be swarming all over us with audits and intimidation. Lindsay Graham stood right next him and nodded in agreement! Uniparty Democrats and establishment Republicans.

Armed tax collectors brought to you by Lame Duck Joe and his minions. What is the over and under in number of days until IRS agents kill taxpayers for submitting an incorrect tax return.

I wonder if they buried a new firearms tax in this bill? If you pay the tax you admit gun ownership and if you don’t pay the tax and they check the FBI gun purchase record and see you didn’t pay they come and confiscate your guns. Maybe this is why the 87,000 new agents and millions of ammo rounds were acquired at IRS.

Every person should file a dummy void tax return, using Lois Lerner' name or Facebbok corporate name.
Inundate them with tons of false returns.

The IRS said the added $ 80 Billion will go to squeezing taxpayers who make over $400K... That's 2.8 Million. $80B / 2.8 Million = $ 28,571 per taxpayer. Ponder that a bit...

#19, The Republicans tried to get an amendment added to make sure people making less than $400K would not be audited and the Demoncrats shot it down. That means EVERYONE will be audited regardless how much you make . I hope the liberal and Dem voters enjoy what they voted for.

Having first-hand experience with one of the fastest growing federal agencies in the last ten years, what the media isn't talking about is, these will be 87,000 new, untrained, incompetent hires who couldn't get a better job in the most pro-employee economy in history. This will be 87,000 from the bottom of the barrel.
