We need more school districts like this. It seems every week we are inundated with stories about school districts subjecting students to woke propaganda instead of focusing on teaching them how to read, write, and do math. But at least one school district in Wisconsin is refusing to follow suit.
Kettle Moraine School District Superintendent Stephen Plum instructed employees not to display gay pride flags or put their preferred pronouns in email signatures. The move sparked pushbacks from alumni, students, and members of the staff. Plum insists he is only following a policy that has already been established.

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy is one of those politicians that’s an absolute pleasure to watch and listen to. He has a wit and attitude that is a joy to witness for Republicans and absolutely frustrating for Democrats. He’s personable and fun.
All of that came across in his latest campaign ad where he admitted that, while he has the right to remain silent, he doesn’t actually have the ability.
“Folks, I will never completely fit in,” said Kennedy in the ad.
“For all those Washington insider elite bed wetters whose feelings I hurt, here’s some free advice,” he continued.
“Go buy yourself an emotional support pony because I’m not going to shut up,”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reacted to recent action taken in response to the U.S. monkeypox virus outbreak, telling reporters in a Wednesday media briefing that his government is "not doing fear."
The Republican governor said during a press briefing that Florida would, instead, "focus on facts."
"I am so sick of politicians — and we saw this with COVID — trying to sow fear into the population," he said. "We had people calling, mothers worried about whether their kids could catch it at school."
"We are not doing fear," DeSantis added. "And, we are not going to go out and try to rile people up

An enraged mother named Gabrielle Clark threatened a Texas House of Representatives education meeting with lawsuits if they dared to teach her daughter Critical Race Theory or social and emotional learning. [Video]
“If my daughter is taught CRT at all, I will sue you. If my daughter is taught [social and emotional learning] at all I will sue you. I am encouraging every parent I know to sue you; to sue every teacher, every principal, every system, everybody up the chain… because we’re tired of y’all,” she declared on June 26 at the public education hearing.
“I’m an atheist, bisexual, bi-racial, homeless person…

Democrats may soon pay a very dear price for their intense focus on divisive “woke” politics that may greatly please voters in the deep blue coastal bastions of the cultural elite and the cost could be a fracture with Hispanic voters who are fleeing the party in droves, a development that could be a major factor in the 2022 midterm elections and beyond. [Video]
The potential loss of the historically reliable Democrat voting bloc has some sounding the alarm that Hispanics aren’t down with the party’s dragging the country farther in the direction of socialist regimes that have impoverished and repressed people in Latin America

Craft breweries across America have been on the front lines of businesses facing higher material costs because of inflation.
Now, many are confronting a shortage of a key ingredient: carbon dioxide, the gas that gives beer its crisp, effervescent taste.
And one brewer has already said it plans to shut down a key manufacturing plant and lay off workers as a result.
Night Shift Brewing, in Everett, Massachusetts, just outside Boston, cited the CO2 shortage as the reason it is suspending operations at its longtime facility and outsourcing to nearby locations instead.
"Come October 1, we won’t likely have jobs for many of this team," the company said in a statement on Instagram.

What would we do without Libs of TikTok? The right’s favorite social media provocateur does tremendous work exposing the woke behavior infiltrating our educational system. Sometimes Libs of Tik Tok stokes our outrage, and sometimes we just have to laugh.
One post from Libs of TikTok falls into the latter category. Here’s the set-up: a teacher who works with 5th- and 6th-grade students reached out to the TikTok world asking what she should do about a particular student.
When the subject of pronouns came up in the class, one boy raised his hand and told the teacher that she hadn’t asked his pronouns. So she did.

You really have to wonder who ran against some of these morons in political office sometimes. Honestly, was the alternative to someone like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez being forced to step on a rusty nail? Was Eric Swalwell’s opponent a literal cannibal promising to consume children if elected? If you set out to elect some of the dumbest creatures to ever walk upright on the planet, you couldn’t do much better than what Democrats currently have serving in Congress and the White House. Why?
There is no good answer, at least one that covers everyone. There are, after all, a lot of really dumb Democrats in office.

Economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman said it's wrong for Americans to believe widespread BLM riots occurred in 2020, calling it one of the many "dystopian myths" in the nation.
Krugman even went as far as to say the destruction in New York City "never happened."
"Well, first of all, there’s the specific issue of the whole Black Lives Matter demonstrations, which a large part of the country, certainly a lot of the mail I get, people think that you know, lots of Manhattan was burned to the ground," Krugman told CNN's Brian Stelter on Sunday.
"They think that this was an enormously destructive thing,

As I recall, it was then-governor Jimmy Carter who used the misery index against President Gerald Ford in 1976. It was inflation plus unemployment equals the misery index.
It was thrown back at President Carter in 1980 and had a lot to do with Ronald Reagan becoming the 40th president and bringing a lot of GOP senators with him.
The misery index is back, and it will hurt the Democrats, according to Bloomberg:
A new study by Bloomberg Economics takes one gauge with a knack of predicting ballot outcomes — the misery index, calculated by adding up the inflation and unemployment rates — and projects it forward through election day.

For those too young to remember, it was thirty years ago this month that the DOJ entrapped Randy Weaver for his Christian beliefs, issued a death warrant, killed his dog, son, and wife, and shot Weaver and his friend.
Surely, the DOJ doesn’t just execute innocent people. Yet, as we learned at trial:
He had no propensity to commit crimes. Never even had a traffic ticket. Never been charged with a crime of any kind and honorably served his country.
While living in Iowa, Weaver learned it was illegal to homeschool his children independently, so he moved his family to a cabin in remote Idaho, Ruby Ridge.

Living during the national freefall precipitated by Biden's tyrannical policies, it’s beneficial to ponder how both the United States, and world, might be different if Donald J. Trump had taken the oath of office as president on January, 20, 2021, instead of Joseph Rube-inette Biden.

There would be no Green Agenda executive orders. No cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline, where thousands of workers with high-paying jobs would ensure the flow of 700,000 barrels a day to the American market. There would be no freeze on new oil and gas leases. The ANWR project in Alaska, would have progressed instead of stalled.

Bet there will still be plenty of those nasty Necco Wafers, though!!
