Woke Teacher Asks Student His Pronouns,

What would we do without Libs of TikTok? The right’s favorite social media provocateur does tremendous work exposing the woke behavior infiltrating our educational system. Sometimes Libs of Tik Tok stokes our outrage, and sometimes we just have to laugh. One post from Libs of TikTok falls into the latter category. Here’s the set-up: a teacher who works with 5th- and 6th-grade students reached out to the TikTok world asking what she should do about a particular student. When the subject of pronouns came up in the class, one boy raised his hand and told the teacher that she hadn’t asked his pronouns. So she did.

So the 5th/6th grade teacher doesn't recognize a noun from a pronoun? What educational institute did that teacher graduate from, the same one as Dr Jill, that well-known physician?

Went to catholic school up to grade 6. We lined up to enter the building. Hands behind our backs. We marched quietly to our room. We got to work. If an adult entered the classroom, we immediately stood up in respect. We went to confession every Thursday and pitiful 12 year olds confessed all our sins. (We were even told if we had bad thoughts that was a sin.) We went to church every Friday, took communion, and had breakfast in the cafeteria. Not once did it enter our minds to smart off or misbehave. I greatly resent the control the nuns had but we learned respect and proper behavior. Kids today have no clue what either of those words mean.

How is it possible that these teachers have become so banal, so juvenile, and so utterly ridiculous that they would refer to their students as ‘rock’ and ‘banana’ because they are way too stupid to realize that they’re being mocked? We are supposed to entrust our children’s education to these ignorant morons? And we’re domestic terrorists if we don’t? I am so glad I don’t have school aged children anymore. I would end up in jail.

Reply to #1 No, she graduated from a teaching college. As someone with a Masters in Education, I found out 20 yrs ago, that "teaching" was indoctrination, and opted for the counseling and guidance option because the b.s. that was spouted at that time, had nothing to do with real education, but behavior modification and " white privilege." Most, if not all "teaching colleges" or indoctrination centers, don't exactly take the cream of the crop as far as SAT or GRE test scores go. So this is what you get.

Yet, this is where we are. I do not think it is sustainable for grown arse women to become disabled by the biting sting of 5th grade sarcasm. I am expecting an equal and opposite rebound in the culture war.

The kid just administered an intelligence test, and the woke teacher flunked it. Reminds me of a scene from the move 'Fifth Element' with Bruce Willis. Police are searching for the Bruce Willis character and come to his apartment building. He has done two things, however. He has substituted his name tag with one that belongs to a rude neighbor, and the police apprehend the wrong person. He also identifies himself as a baloney sandwich instead of human and the police accept his answer without question. One has to question if we are reaching that level of absurdity in real life.

I'm with the kid, you can choose anything you want for your pronouns. However, you have to expect people are going to get them wrong - a lot! - if those pronouns are not immediately apparent. My suggestion, if you are not using the default pronouns for your language, you should be required to wear a tag listing them so people won't insult you by using the wrong ones. And while we're on the subject, is that "el Latinx" or "la Latinx"?

Dude can pick a pair of nouns if he wants. Complaining that he's not following the rules or that it doesn't make sense misses the fact that this pick-your-own-pronouns game, itself, is rejecting the centuries-accepted rules of language, and that using pronouns that aren't in-sync with reality doesn't make sense, to begin with. I'd like to pick "I" / "me", to make everybody refer to themselves every time they want to refer to me. Although that might be fun for only an hour or so, before it got boring.

We need more school districts like this. It seems every week we are inundated with stories about school districts subjecting students to woke propaganda instead of focusing on teaching them how to read, write, and do math. But at least one school district in Wisconsin is refusing to follow suit. Kettle Moraine School District Superintendent Stephen Plum instructed employees not to display gay pride flags or put their preferred pronouns in email signatures. The move sparked pushbacks from alumni, students, and members of the staff. Plum insists he is only following a policy that has already been established.

As I recall, it was then-governor Jimmy Carter who used the misery index against President Gerald Ford in 1976. It was inflation plus unemployment equals the misery index. It was thrown back at President Carter in 1980 and had a lot to do with Ronald Reagan becoming the 40th president and bringing a lot of GOP senators with him. The misery index is back, and it will hurt the Democrats, according to Bloomberg: A new study by Bloomberg Economics takes one gauge with a knack of predicting ballot outcomes — the misery index, calculated by adding up the inflation and unemployment rates — and projects it forward through election day.

While living in Iowa, Weaver learned it was illegal to homeschool his children independently, so he moved his family to a cabin in remote Idaho, Ruby Ridge.

Living during the national freefall precipitated by Biden's tyrannical policies, it’s beneficial to ponder how both the United States, and world, might be different if Donald J. Trump had taken the oath of office as president on January, 20, 2021, instead of Joseph Rube-inette Biden. Energy There would be no Green Agenda executive orders. No cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline, where thousands of workers with high-paying jobs would ensure the flow of 700,000 barrels a day to the American market. There would be no freeze on new oil and gas leases. The ANWR project in Alaska, would have progressed instead of stalled.

Americans are no strangers to “times that try men’s souls,” to borrow a phrase from Thomas Paine. By mid-1945, the United States had been at war for three-and-a-half years, enduring the draft, separation from loved ones, mounting numbers of casualties, and rationing, with no end in sight. Many Americans were weary, not unlike our feelings now, after two-and-a-half years of privations and anguish related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
