Biden allies: Where the hell is Absent Joe?

Oh, he’s around, appearing on TV occasionally but taking very few questions from reporters in either a press-conference or one-on-one format. Joe Biden made remarks earlier today to explain why the White House doesn’t have a definition of recession, in fact. And skedaddled shortly thereafter: (Tweet/Video)But just a couple of weeks after the New Republic described Biden’s presidency as “absent,” his allies have gone to The Hill’s Amie Parnes to corroborate it: Allies to President Biden are voicing frustration about the political operation inside the White House as the midterm elections draw closer and the president readies for a possible reelection bid.

Channel One comes to Erie through our cable provider, Spectrum. And Channel One showed an extended chunk of time with Dementia Jo live, with the White House controll9ing the camera. It was fixed on Jo, but he was pretending to carry on a conversation about the economy with n, off camera 'business leaders' and cabinet members. It was a spooky setting. The consensus was that the economy is good. Dementia Jo had a hard time staying awake, and/or looking engaged. When he spoke, it was in sentence fragments, giving proof of his aphasia. He did seem to be looking down on his desk, where there probably was a small monitor, feeding him things to say. He was pointing down on it with his right hand, and his left hand clenched in the form of a fist. It was a sad performance, and not even MSNBC or CNN were carrying it. How low can he go?

Quite by accident we caught a few minutes of his presser today. It was only with extreme self-control that I managed not to throw something to shatter the TV screen.

He just keeps getting worse. Millions of people are worried about the economy and all he can do is read a script, make a pronouncement that the recession doesn't exist, then run away.

White House Calls Border Walls ‘Ineffective’
After Authorizing Resumed Construction

The White House said Friday that border walls were ineffective, even though President Joe Biden’s administration authorized more construction on former President Donald Trump’s signature border security project. “A border wall is an ineffective use of taxpayer dollars,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during the daily briefing. The Department of Homeland Security said Thursday they would resume construction on four wide gaps in the wall near Yuma, Arizona, that were not completed yet. When Biden took office, he halted the construction of the wall, but some gaps remain. The announcement signals a betrayal of Biden’s campaign promise to cease wall construction entirely.

Donald Trump was spotted sipping his trademark Diet Coke at a cheeseburger-laden table while watching the Saudi-backed LIV golf tournament at his New Jersey golf club. The former president could be seen sipping the drink through a straw while wearing a MAGA hat in Bedminster Friday. He was snapped close to his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and athlete-turned-socialite Caitlyn Jenner. Jenner, an outspoken Republican and longtime friend of Trump's, was spotted with her long-rumored girlfriend Sophia Hutchins. Jenner is competing in the tournament with British golfer Paul Casey, who reportedly said 'she has a pretty good swing.'

The nationwide baby formula shortage has worsened with 70 percent of all brands reported out-of-stock, despite President Joe Biden's efforts to make infant milk more accessible. Families in Rhode Island and Vermont have been hardest hit by the shortage with out-of-stock rates at 79 percent and 78 percent, respectively. Biden and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have made it easier for foreign manufacturers to get shipments into the country, and appealed to companies such as Nestle and Reckitt to step up production. French consumer goods company Danone on Wednesday said it had shipped more than 750,000 cans of its flagship Aptamil baby formula to the U.S. from Europe,

The coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on college enrollments. Overall, undergraduate enrollments have declined by 9.4 percent, or about 1.4 million students. The most obvious reasons for the decline are the disruptions caused by the virus. However, some experts feel that increasing numbers of high school graduates are concluding that college is just too expensive, which is not surprising considering the costs of college have more than doubled over the last 20 years. All of which suggests it might be an appropriate time to begin to rethink American higher education and examine alternatives to it. The debate over student loan forgiveness

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares is accusing the Biden administration of using children to win more votes at the ballot box. Miyares filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration’s Department of Agriculture, which is threatening to take away funding for school lunches if schools refuse to adhere to the left’s radical transgender agenda. “They're essentially saying, 'We are requiring you to have biological males in women's sports, we are requiring you to allow biological males to use women's bathrooms, female bathrooms, and if you don't, we're going to withhold nutrition assistance for needy children,’" Miyares said

After endlessly bashing former President Trump over building the border wall, President Joe Biden has quietly reversed course and given the nod to fill in gaps at the U.S.-Mexico border near Yuma, Arizona. During his 2020 presidential campaign, Biden over and over again declared, “Not another foot,” as he blasted Trump for the construction of the border wall. But on Thursday, his administration approved plans to finish the wall near Yuma under the guise of “safety concerns” for illegal immigrants.

The Connecticut mom who strangled her three children before hanging herself left a suicide note for her husband that read, “Sorry, Pedro, I take my kids with me,” his cousin told The Post on Friday. Sonia Loja, 36, had long battled depression and had been crying for days over the shuttering of her illegal child-care business before Wednesday’s horrific murder-suicide in Danbury, said relative Digna Naulaguari, 47. Loja’s devastated husband, Pedro Panjon, saw no signs of the coming violence and only realized that something might be amiss when he got home from work that day — and none of the kids ran out as usual to greet him, the kin said.

Weighing around 22 metric tons (about 48,500 lb), it's set to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere at 18:26 BST on Saturday, give or take six hours either way, according to Aerospace Corporation

Joe Biden had a more than two-hour call with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday. The first thoughts I have in writing about that call are that it’s dangerous for the United States to have him on a call for that long with a foreign leader, particularly Xi — that Xi would be able to see the issues, and therefore the weakness of Joe Biden. The one thing you never want to project to the Chinese is weaknessBut that’s just what Biden has been doing. By definition, anyone hired based on their diversity and intersectional identities will not be the best. Merit and diversity are anathema to one another. Joe Biden selected Kamala Harris for his Vice President for the singular reason that she checked off boxes for being a black woman. Ditto for Ketanji Brown-Jackson and double ditto for Jen Psaki’s replacement Karine Jean-Pierre. This isn’t a difficult concept, but all leftists lack self-awareness, introspection, and the ability to assimilate new information with their rigid dogma. That leaves us with someone so utterly bad at her job that it’s astonishing she is able to wake up in the morning.

I know this administration loves to change language and linguistics, but this is too much. Also, in 2019, Jean-Pierre called Trump’s wall racist. Is it racist when Biden does it? Conservatives are not used to elbows being out. They want Reagan the Grandfather. But we have Trump who is crazy as a fox. That's the reality. And the reality is a Reaganesque Trump would not work in today's political world. The shared experience of World War II is long gone. Elitists shun patriotism and their wannabes agree. Today's liberals respect no one, not even themselves. They run every institution in the United States, and they ruin every one.

Germany, together with several European countries, are telling their citizens to expect large increases in their electricity bills as energy costs continue to skyrocket.
