Hunter Biden held dozens of talks with his father from 2008 to 2016, often shortly after returning home from trips abroad on business, according to data from the first son’s abandoned laptop. At least 30 such talks took place, the New York Post reported on July 16, based on a personal calendar on the laptop. The meetings took place at either the White House or the vice president’s residence at the Naval Observatory. The latest revelation comes amid President Joe Biden’s continued claim that the two have never spoken about Hunter Biden’s business dealings

PORT-AU-PRINCE — At least 50 people are dead and another 100 were left injured in a confrontation between two gangs, G9 and GPep, that began last weekend in Cité Soleil. “On both sides, bodies of opponents are burned, these figures are underestimated,” said Joel Janeus, acting executive officer of Cité Soleil. As the gang wars continue unabated in the area, police have still not taken control. As a result, scores of people were fleeing the area or otherwise left to fend for themselves.

Remember how the world, especially the American media, fawned over former German Chancellor Angela Merkel? The adoration was so over the top that in 2015 Time magazine named Merkel its "Person of the Year." It described her as the "Chancellor of the Free World." Time owes whatever readers it has left a solemn apology. Today, Germans are suffering the bitter fruits of nearly every major economic and geopolitical decision Merkel made as chancellor. Start with the German economy that she attempted to reset for the 21st century, which is reminiscent of how President Joe Biden explains to inflation-weary voters that we are going through "an incredible transition."

Hunter Biden's payments to a Ukrainian woman linked to an Eastern European escort ring were flagged by JPMorgan Chase in late 2018 and early 2019 in a report filed with the federal government, according to a new report. Hunter spent over $30,000 on escorts, many of them linked to ".ru" Russian email addresses, who worked with a "model agency" called UberGFE between November 2018 and March 2019, [snip] Biden claimed to members of his family that he was broke during that time, but he was able to make payments to the escorts thanks in part to President Joe Biden committing to wiring him a total of $100,000

When Secretary of State Antony Blinken meets with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the Indonesian island of Bali on Saturday, the FBI will likely be in the process of launching a new probe into Chinese espionage against the U.S. — if it hadn't already done so earlier in the day. That's based on an estimate by FBI Director Christopher Wray, who on Wednesday said his agency opens counterintelligence investigations into China roughly every 12 hours.

A month after receiving a DUI driving home from a California winery, Paul Pelosi and his wife, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., jetted off to the beaches of Italy over Independence Day. The Pelosis vacationed at the Alpemare Beach Club in Forte dei Marmi, located just outside of Florence, as America celebrated her birthday and Americans endured sky-high gas prices and inflation. The speaker and her husband, who was arrested for a DUI a month prior, were spotted walking the sand with club owner and legendary Italian singer Andrea Bocelli and his wife, Veronica Berti.

Despite a fresh face at the helm, CNN’s ratings are stuck in freefall mode. Pledging to “go a different way” as “extremes are dominating cable news,” when he took over in early May, CEO Chris Licht hasn’t yet seen the hoped-for results.
Only 654,000 viewers on average per night tuned in to June’s primetime lineup, while the network attracted 487,000 viewers on average during the day. These numbers represent a slight decline from May, even with the Jan. 6 House committee hearings.

President Joe Biden will spend Independence Day staring down arguably his toughest challenge since entering the White House. Historic inflation, coupled with months of legislative setbacks, has saddled the president with his worst approval ratings since entering office. Meanwhile, midterm voters consistently rank the economy as their top priority, and with the looming prospect of losing control of Congress, the White House's messaging sounds totally different than one year prior.

President Joe Biden on Wednesday bragged about the performance of U.S. stocks during his time in office, as he made a speech in honor of labor unions at the White House. "The stock market has gone up exponentially since I've been president. You haven't heard me say word about it," Biden said, in an apparent reference to former President Donald Trump's frequent comments about the stock market. The S&P 500 SPX, -2.65% has gained about 17% since Jan. 20, the day that Biden was inaugurated.

On Saturday, February 26, the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. opened an exhibition titled Mystery and Faith: The Shroud of Turin. Michael Warsaw, CEO of EWTN, described the importance of this exhibit and said, “Few people will have the opportunity to visit Turin and see the actual Shroud. With its detailed and high-tech facsimile of the Shroud, the Museum of the Bible’s exhibit makes an encounter with one of the great artifacts in human history possible for everyone.”

This is surprising. I thought that all of them were already commies.
