US Attorney General Merrick Garland said he is open to prosecuting Trump for his ‘role in January 6.’
Merrick Garland was asked by NBC’s Lester Holt if indicting a former president would “tear the country apart.”
“Look, we pursue justice without fear or favor,” Merrick Garland told NBC’s Lester Holt in an interview that will air Tuesday night.
Right.“We intend to hold everyone, anyone who was criminally responsible for the events surrounding January 6, for any attempt to interfere with the lawful transfer of power from one administration to another, accountable,” Garland added. “That’s what we do.”

"without fear or favor"?????? I'd be ROFL if it wasn't such a tragedy for our country.

Sure, he’s open to having gay sex with Satan too. Every Trump Deranged politician out there is open to it as well. But sadly a lack of any evidence sort of puts the brakes on the lynch mob.

I hope evidence is still required. Media editors are open to printing anything, no prima facie validity required. Merrick garland is open to it, but Satan wants someone of higher ethics and decency.

People like Garland and Schiff, Pelosi, etc. don't seem to realize that prosecuting PDJT could bring about an real insurrection on a massive scale. All Trump has to do would be to say "Go get them."

Today Senator Grassley submitted a list of systemic corruption findings within the DOJ and FBI. Grassley’s timing is good. This will throw Garland a good curve ball to deal with and indicate the political versus law bound justification of his statements. Government is rated at an all time low right now and public trust is near nonexistent. Garland will soon see the negative impact of his TV interviews. One more nail in the Democrats coffin before November.

What a ridiculous partisan hack.
The only good thing about this clown being the head of the DOJ is he's not on the SCOTUS.
We need to stop giving even lip service to the DOJ, FBI, IRS, etc being anything but the Democrat's private Gestapo.

This regime said certain South American counries weren't welcome at the latest OAS conference because "They fix elections and put political enemies in jail." One thing about Leftists: they have absolutely no self-awareness or sense of irony. They are only interested in amassing power.

Hades. In DC the Dept of Just-Us could dig up Able Lincoln's corpse and a DC jury would find it guilty of insurrection. In DC there is only Just-Us. Rebublicans are always guilty even before charged.

The mid term elections will be the first wave of erasing the Democrat stain that is being rubbed into this nations cloth. If the J^ ushes for and the DOJ charges Donald Trump with criminal charges related to J6, they will set off the second wave of discontent which will hopefully finish the Democrats off during the 2024 Presidential Elections. Democrats weaponizing he DOJ will not stp with Trump. They will go after Justice Clarence Thomas and any other person that they see standing in the way of their liberal agenda.

Without fear or favor…who do you think you’re fooling, Mr. Garland? But realize that if you go after Pres. Trump you will unleash his loyal supporters who have stood by peacefully despite the J6 fantasy of terror and insurrection you’ve tried to concoct along with other lies and insults. We have your number and we don’t like you at all. We will, however, protect our champion and many of us are willing to do so with our lives. Not for our sakes but for the sakes of generations to come.

I’ve never been a big fan of Trump Since I became aware of him in the ‘70s and I did smell a Democrat trap regarding the Jan 6 event; however, I do not think he is responsible for the riot and would be willing to beat my plowshares into swords if this politically inspired criminal persecution of Trump goes forward absent hard evidence. In other words, I’m no Trump virtue signaler but I am willing to fight for my former president against the Sovietization of our legal system.
