Democrats are wising up to the fact that soaring crime rates, rogue prosecutors and calls to “Defund the Police” are political liabilities. That’s one reason President Joe Biden has been encouraging community leaders to tap federal COVID-relief funds to beef up local policing. And just last week, his administration announced it will try to boost police funding in next year’s budget.(Snip)But if Team Biden really does now “Back the Blue,” why is it giving a sweetheart deal to two domestic terrorists who pleaded guilty to firebombing a New York City police van and planned to firebomb others? After all, it’s rare for any prosecutor’s office

Comments:

Marxist revolutionary terrorists are the heart and soul of Today's America, so they get a sweetheart deal. President Baraque is certainly on board; after all, his "autobiography" was ghostwritten by a Marxist revolutionary terrorist from the neighborhood. Meanwhile, peaceful protestors who the Capitol Police allowed into the building, and who walked around, remain in the gulag because fair elections are a fiction.

Today's Democrat establishment, and their donor class, do not support the blue, period. After all, they just pushed the nomination of extreme liberal, Ms. Roopail Desai, for the 9th Circut Court. Desai serves on the board of Just Communities Arizona (JCA), a self-described "abolitionist organization" that envisions "a world in which prisons and jails are unnecessary." JCA was formerly known as the Arizona chapter of the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), changing its name in January of this year. AFSC's national arm supports defunding the police and called the American criminal justice system "a racist system that disproportionately targets people of color" during the George Floyd riots. AFSC-Arizona co-signed a statement from the national arm that called to divert resources "away from the police forces that occupy our communities." AFSC also supported abolishing prisons as well as the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement targeting Israel backed by several terrorist organizations. And, she's supported by Sen. Mark Kelly and Kristin Simena, and likely pushed through by Sen. Chuck Schumer.

Of course he doesn't " Back the Blue ". The reasoning behind this is that of course if you support police you must be a republican and therefore you will give up your evil, nasty guns. The left assumes that republicans are as dumb as their dem base.

Europe's summer heatwave has only just finished, but already panic is growing in Germany over what horrors may lay in store for its citizens this winter. Vladimir Putin is choking the country's gas supplies—officially because of 'essential repair work' to pipelines, though few doubt he is exacting revenge for Berlin's defiance over Ukraine. Yes, it is important for President Trump to have a well-credentialed stable of policy experts capable of both building a 2024 platform and finding solid MAGA talent to populate a new Trump Administration. But the AFPI Trojan Horse—whose leadership is now bragging about how it will staff Trump’s “shadow cabinet”—is decidedly not that.

I recently wrote a column about why I believed Trump should not run in 2024. I was wrong. I allowed my distaste for Trump’s personality to override his virtues, which are considerable. Some people want Trump without his vices. I was among them -- until yesterday, when I watched and listened to Tom Klingenstein’s speech titled “Trump’s virtues.” It was masterful and shamed me that I did not make the distinction between Trump's character and his virtues, the former being deeply flawed, the latter being almost perfect. I need to man up in my defense of the former President's virtues.
